Lakes with colourful birds, happy hippos and herds of elephants.
Hyenas, coyotes, monkeys, gnus, buffalo's and many antelopes.

Amboseli is great, but you can not see all the animals you can find in Maasai Mara. It is iconic for the view of mount Kilimanjaro and the many elephants. It is also recommended for birdwatching and has wonderful landscapes.

we saw so many elephants here ,its unbelievable .we had a great experience . people were so kind and nice to us. everyone speaks English and it made it easy to communicate .

The elephants were AMAZING! The landscape was powerful given Mount Kilimanjaro as your backdrop. Signs of climate change were real and important to see.

The views of the Kilimanjaro are amazing. We saw elephants (plenty of them), zebras, buffalos, hippos, giraffes, pelicans, lions…. Our hotel was in the park and beautiful

Because of the swamps the National Park concentrate a really high quantity of animals. It is absolutely beautiful and you see A LOT of animals all together. In really large quantities, it felt like a movie.
Another unique thing is the view with the Kilimanjaro. The photos are stunning.
However, due to these unique things I felt the Park was much fuller than any other. So when there was a message about lions around all cars would run to the place and it was quite hectic.
I prefer more quiet and calm safaris, less crowded. But I would go there anyways, it is a must.

Different from other parks, Amboseli has the fantastic backdrop of Kilimanjaro.
