Hippo once ,Baboons storks & the mongoose in the under growth,( PERFECT). Shimba our guide was so good, he didn't mind us asking questions, could explain every thing we ask, & set up a lovely table in a place with a great view for our picnic the day we went to the Mara River to see the Animals crossing.Thank you Shimba. & Thanks to to the Folk in the Kitchen & the Waiters & waitress who served us delightful meals.

Great national park. Very clean with professional staff and wonderful wildlife. The restaurant was first class and the bar prices reasonable. Would have liked an overnight stay in the lodge. First Class

Personally, I found the bush drives a little tame. The river cruises were better.

Beautiful park with many scenic view next to the Chobe river. Great for animal watching.

The main reason is the famous one: there are more elephants here than anywhere in the world and you can see hundreds perhaps thousands at the same time. We saw a few of everything else too. our cook did good food, very private spaces to camp, and our guide was the best.

Birders should absolutely do a boat cruise, it's a great way to see the water birds up close. Also a different perspective than the jeep so seeing the hippos, elephants, etc. from a different angle is great. We had incredible sunsets in Chobe as well, with sweeping landscapes. It was really breathtaking.

We did a cruise river that was great but we self drive in the Chobe park near the river and it was fantastic. Saw a lot of animals.
