Excellent safari location!
The weather was warm, 80-85 degrees, and was a mix of sunny and overcast throughout the five days I was there. I was on the trip with my father, who had a personal friend who was also a guide take us out on the safari. This was nice, because it was just the three of us in the vehicle and we could go out for however long we wished, and stop for whatever my father and I wanted to look at.

popular animal we didn't see was a lion... they are really tricky to spot, considering they are the best predator out there. However, when my brother made the same trip with my father a month later, they saw a lion, so they can be found, you just have to be patient and look!Overall, it was a fantastic experience. I have hundreds of photos and video footage to keep forever. My tips would be to pack plenty of clean clothes you can sweat in. I completely changed outfits 2-3 times a day from being so covered in dirt, sunscreen, and sweat. Driving out in the bush will get you very dirty. Also, bring long shirts, pants, and bug spray. My father got malaria from a mosquito bite out there and was dangerously ill for weeks. Visit a doctor and get malaria pills to take before this trip!

Where I found and felt the 'safari' aspect of the tour with an early morning game drive and an afternoon Nile boat cruise with an abundance of hippos in the water and along the shores with elephants, various hooved species, and other wildlife. I saw all the 'Big 5' except a leopard. Murchison Falls is also very impressive though tour descriptions are very outdated and there's no walking on any trails at base of the falls when boats can't even come near the falls with force of the output.

We found an abundance of Wildlife at Murchison falls national park that would match parks in Kenya and Tanzania along with the worlds most powerful waterfall.

Murchison Falls National Park is home to a wide range of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, buffaloes, hippos, and crocodiles. Game drives on the northern bank offer classic savannah safari experiences with high chances of sightings, especially during the dry season.

The park is huge and I loved seeing Murchison falls so upclose!

Really big place with beautiful nature an wildlife.
We went in July and were really lucky with good weather. At first we went to visit the waterfalls itself which was absolutely stunning - although you should not bother getting a little bit wet.
We did two park rides and saw buffallows, giraffes, cute little pumbas and much more. We also were lucky to see a Lion climb up a tree and some hyanes cross the Street.
At last we did a boat tour to see the hippos which was also really cool.
All in all a very breathtaking experience with our tourguid Frank, who was really kind and had a bright knowledge about the park and the wildlife.

Was blown away by the amount of giraffes in the park! We saw everything except a male lion.
