Great organization, costumised tours, very nice and helpful staff.
This August Avocet Tanzania organised for me a three days safari (Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro crater, Tarangerine). Everything was just amazing! The accommodations were just as I expected, the driver was excellent and very nice. They picked me at the bus station and took me to the hotel, after the safary they drove me to the airport so they nice and helpful. I strongly recommend this organization for everybody. Thank you again Jeff!

Very nice, pleasant and perfectly organised 4 days safari with Avocet Tanzania Safaris
We made a 4 days safari with 3 people in Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngoro-Ngoro beginn of April 2016 and enjoyed Avocet Tanzania Safaris' services. Avocet was very responsive from the first contact and perfectly organized the safari, including transfer from/to Dar es Salam and thanks to our friendly and competent guide Peter we made a pleasant safari and enjoyed all highlights despite the relatively short duration.

4 Day Safari through Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater
My partner and I were very lucky to have had such a wonderful and memorable experience with Avocet, despite some passengers who did not bring an appropriate level of courtesy and respect for the experience.
Our driver and chef made for a really great experience - they were friendly and knowledgeable, always willing to answer questions about the things we saw or would expect to see.

Amazing Safari Adventure!
We had a four day safari that took us to Lake Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro. We saw tons of animals including lots of babies. Our safari guide, Dickson, picked us up from the airport in Kilamanjaro and took us the airport in Arusha when we departed. He was a great guide, very knowledgeable, polite, funny and made us feel really comfortable. He was also incredible at spotting animals. Our accommodations were beautiful and the food was excellent. Jeff, the tour operator for Avocet, was very friendly and prompt in responding to emails and questions. He even met us at the airport when we were leaving Arusha to say goodbye and make sure that we had a good time. Our safari experience was perfect! We would not have changed a thing. We would absolutely recommend Avocet. If we are lucky enough to go on a safari again, we will choose Avocet and request Dickson to be our guide!

Fantastic Honeymoon!
Jeff of Avocet Safaris set up an unforgettable honeymoon for my husband and I last summer. He arranged all of the transport, accommodations, safari, Kilimanjaro trek (with a private guide, cooks and porters) and connected us with another great company for our Zanzibar trip. After doing a lot of research, and getting a personal recommendation from a friend of a friend here in California, we booked with Avocet because they were reliable, responsive, and more reasonable than the other tours we looked at. Also, on the way into Tanzania our bags were delayed, and Jeff found them and had them delivered to us! Superb service, and a great value.

He was friendly, charming and made the experience perfect
We had an amazing 3-day safari experience with Joel and Avocet Safari. Everything was well organized from start to finish, and we felt very well taken care of throughout the trip.
Joel was extremely friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He made the safari not only informative but also really fun and enjoyable. We saw incredible wildlife and beautiful landscapes, and he always made sure we were comfortable and having a good time.
Overall, it was an unforgettable experience, and we would highly recommend Joel and Avocet Safari to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania.

A superbly organized safari led in a great atmosphere.
Initially, communication regarding organization and payment was a bit difficult.
But then everything went perfectly.
Humphrey was very informative, very attentive to our well-being, and always in a good mood. Martin, our cook, took excellent care of us. Both camps, and especially the tents, were in good condition. For me, the price-performance ratio was just about right.

Well organised and nice schedule for the different parks
We did an 6 day safari, it was well organised with the tents and transportation. Communication with the manager was easy as well because I had an Tanzania simcard so we could call.
Only minor was that we had to pay in cash which was a bit difficult because we were already in Tanzania when we received that information.

The guide knew what he was doing, knew where to go for good spotting. Communication with Jeff was good, he kept us up to speed and offered alternatives if needed.
