professional team and the best guide
It is an amazing safari in Kenya，I am happy to choose Jocky tours，they are very professional. Reasonable price，good service. Our guide Albert take care of me for the whole tour 7 days，a good driver，a professional safari guide. He can find the animals effectively and stop the vehicle at the best places so that we can take good photos. Though I am in a budget tour group，our accommodations are all close to the national park gate，so that we didn't waste much time on the way. I enjoy the safari time very much. I recommend to choose Jocky tour and Albert，you can definitely trust them！

Jocky Tours made the whole process of booking easy and Francis our tour guide was amazing.
We decided to go direct with a Safari company and chose Jocky Tours. The booking process was easy and the quality of communication was excellent.
We were collected from our hotel and taken to the Jockey Tours office where we met Francis our driver.
Our tour was to The Massai Mara and Lake Nakuru where we saw an amazing array of wildlife. Francis was a real character and very knowledgeable.
We would highly recommend Jocky Tours and if you are lucky enough to get Francis as your tour guide you won’t be disappointed.

Excellent
I did the tour over Maasai Mara, Nakuru and Naivasha and it was great! Our driver was Kenn, great driver and great guide, he did everything to show us the big 5 and he succeeded on it. Always the correct information about place and animals. It’s amazing as he is in contact with lot of people to know where and when to drive. It was great, totally worth it.

An unforgetable experience
We had an amazing safari experience with Jockey Tour and I highly recommend this agency! Everything was perfectly organized. A special thanks to our guide Moses, a very good driver, always smiling and very professionnal. very special experience!
My partner and I went on the 4 day Masai Mara + Nakuru private tour, and had an unbelievable experience:
The highlight of the trip was definitely our driver and guide, Mr. David Mwangi. He was not only very knowledgeable and patient in explaining features of all the animals we saw, but he very quickly adapted to what we liked and how much we wanted to linger at a spot. Aside from the animals, he also told us more about the Masai culture and life in Kenya in general. Overall, he was always ready to share with us what he knew, but also gave us our alone time to chat and nap whenever we needed. We left earlier and returned later than most of the other parties, as he really wanted to make sure we got the most out of the trip. In short, David was a true professional and educator, and he was incredibly respectful to the animals, nature, and other people, while seemingly always in a lighthearted mood. Not to mention, he is a very careful driver, and we really felt safe in his hands throughout the trip. We didn't specifically request David as we just booked through the tour coordinator via email, but if you can, I can highly highly recommend booking a private tour with him, and I hope to return with him guiding my friends and family soon!
As for the tour itself, the last week of May seemed to be a good time, after the heavy rain season but before peak season. Of course we didn't see the wildebeest migration because it was out of season, but that was fine since we got to spend much more quiet time at each spot and saw the animals up close without other cars constantly coming in and out. Mara and Nakuru had very different landscape, so it was very much experiencing sceneries in both parks. As for the optional activities, the Masai village was a unique experience you obviously can't get anywhere else, and the boat ride on lake Naivasha was also interesting, but in general they costed more than what they were probably worth.

An Unforgettable Safari with John Walter – Highly Recommend!
We just finished a three-day safari in the Masai Mara and honestly, it was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had – all thanks to our amazing guide, John Walter.
From the moment we met him, John was so friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what he does. He knew exactly where to go to find the animals, and his ability to spot them from what felt like miles away was seriously impressive!
Thanks to John, we had the chance to see a pride of lions up close many times – including a few cubs which was such a special moment. He also found a beautiful herd of elephants at a watering hole. And one of the absolute highlights? Watching a cheetah gracefully cross the national park and seeing a leopard sleeping in the tree- something we’ll never forget!
John made every drive feel exciting, and we always felt safe, well-informed, and totally looked after. He was patient with our endless questions and shared so much about the wildlife, the landscape, and the culture of the area.
If you’re planning a safari in Kenya, we couldn’t recommend John Walter enough. He truly made this experience unforgettable, and we’re so grateful to have had him as our guide!

Unforgettable Safari with John Walter – Highly Recommend!
We had such an incredible experience in the Masai Mara with John Walter from Jockey Tours. From the start, he made us feel completely at ease – he’s professional, friendly, and knows the reserve inside out.
Thanks to him, we saw everything we could have hoped for and more – lions, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, hyenas, and even a leopard lounging in a tree. He has a real talent for spotting animals, even from a distance, and always made sure we were in the best position for viewing (and photos!).
What made the experience even better was how much he shared along the way – little facts, stories, and insights about the animals and the area that you wouldn’t get from a guidebook. His passion really came through, and it made every drive that much more special.
We honestly had such a positive experience and would recommend John and Jockey Tours to anyone planning a trip to the Mara. It was a proper once-in-a-lifetime trip, and a huge part of that was down to having such a great guide.

Amazing safari and perfect Jocky Tours from the pickup to the last goodby
My three-day safari in the Masai Mara, staying at Jumbo Mara, was amazing. First of all, kudos to my guide Francis: friendly, flawless, and punctual from pickup to the final goodbye. The organization was excellent, with smooth transfers and great support throughout. The safari itself was particularly lucky (thanks to the weather and to Francis’s experience), and I managed to see all of the Big Five plus lots of other animals. The visit to the Masai village was also nice—somewhat touristy (but then again, that’s what we are), yet it gives you a glimpse into how the Masai live.
The stay at Jumbo Mara was perfect—excellent food (coming from an Italian, that says a lot!) and extremely friendly, professional staff. Would I recommend this combo to my friends? ABSOLUTELY!
