Unforgettable Masai Mara Safari with James Gichina
James Gichina was an outstanding tour guide, and our experience in Masai Mara was truly unforgettable. Thanks to his expertise and exceptional guiding skills, we had the rare opportunity to see the Big 5—lions, rhinos, cheetahs, leopards, and elephants—up close, along with so many other incredible animals.
James’s knowledge of the wildlife and the Masai Mara ecosystem was impressive, and his clear and engaging explanations enriched every moment. He tailored the experience perfectly to our wishes, ensuring we felt heard and completely taken care of. The off-road adventure was absolutely breathtaking, offering moments we will cherish forever.
What stood out the most was how seamless and effortless the entire experience felt. James handled every detail, allowing us to relax, enjoy the stunning scenery, and simply marvel at the wonders of the Mara.

Amazing! 10/10!!
We did a 4 day safari and couldn't ask for a better experience. We were lucky to have Johny as a guide who was incredible in all ways. He made sure everything went smoothly and went out of his way to make sure we got to see all the animals up close and always found the best angles for the pictures. Can really recommend going with Jocky tours and with Johny as your guide you will never regret it. It was truly an incredible experience.

Living in my best life
I had the most incredible safari experience thanks to our exceptional tour guide Johny. From the moment we set out on our adventure, it was clear that we were in the hands of a true expert.
Johny’s knowledge of the local wildlife and the natural habitats was astounding. He could spot even the most elusive creatures with ease, and his passion for conservation and wildlife preservation was truly inspiring.
Not only was our guide incredibly knowledgeable, but he also had a fantastic ability to share his insights in an engaging and entertaining way. He made the whole experience both educational and fun, ensuring that everyone in our group was captivated by the wonders of the animal kingdom.
Safety was a top priority for him, and he always made us feel secure during our encounters with wildlife. His experience and professionalism was evident in every aspect of the safari.
Moreover, Johny 's warm and welcoming personality added a personal touch to the journey. He was always ready to answer our questions and share stories about his experiences , making us feel like we were exploring this beautiful landscape with a friend.
In summary, our safari experience would not have been the same without our outstanding tour guide. His expertise, passion, and hospitality created a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that I will cherish forever. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Thank you for an unforgettable safari trip!

A first rate safari experience
We enjoyed a wonderful three day safari with Jocky Tours and our fantastic driver/guide Jeff.
What a memorable experience!
Jeff was absolutely focussed on giving all in the group a great safari by using his wide experience and knowledge.
We felt Safe with his driving across absolutely all sorts of terrain in his pursuit of giving us the best chances of experiencing a wide variety of wild animals across the park - and we did. We got to see all we had hoped for and much much more besides
The camp was very comfortable with beds, and hot water readily available, staff were friendly and attentive, food choice was limited but wholesome, and our packed lunch for our full day drive extensive!
Jeff, was the perfect guide and driver.
Just good and professional
It was a very good deal.
One point..think about the Lodge you want to stay. They differ a lot. I choose Jambo and it was fantastic.
All the things went alongside the declared program.
I think toyota will be better than safari vans.
David ,our driver and guide was cute and kind. Try to find best places.
However, I got a little disappointed with Masai Mara itself, although it is beautiful and lots of animals; but don't expect the Big immigration as ones in documentary films!

Most amazing experience of a life time with the most amazing safari guide, highly recommended!
Honest, reliable, company.
We have just been on a 4 day safari to Massai Mara and Lake Nakuru which we booked about 8 weeks ago. Communication with Minneh from Jocky Tours was very good, quick responses and all the details you need. Our flight was severely delayed from London by 10 hours but I was able to communicate with Minneh in the middle of the night to rearrange our scheduled pick up time from JKIA airport. A Jocky tours taxi was waiting for us at the airport and transferred us towards the office for full payment. We were told someone from the office was going to meet us at a petrol station to pay and start our safari from there as it was late afternoon and there was traffic to get to the office. We were a bit worried about this but sufficient documentation put our minds at ease and Jocky tours clearly did this to ensure we could start our safari and had our best interests in mind. We stayed in midrange accommodation which was above the standard we were expecting and provided good service. Above all of this, I must talk about our safari guide, Jack. He was amazing at his job and we will always remember him as part of our experience. Jack was extremely knowledgeable and could answer every question we had about the flora, fauna, massai and Kenya in general. He was also an excellent driver and handled the roads and tracks with great skill. We felt Jack went above and beyond to find animals in the Mara and get us as close as possible to the animals. We were lucky enough to see the Big 5 including a black rhino in the Mara as well as a wealth of other wildlife and plants, unforgettable and unlike anything I have ever seen before. Best experience of our lives, we felt safe and that the tour provided good value for money. The Kenyan people were very friendly and welcoming, wanting to show off their beautiful country, and it is without a doubt the most beautiful country I have visited.
I couldn't recommend a safari in Kenya and Jocky Tours enough.

Incredible experience run by a dedicated operator
The 4 day Masai Mara/Lake Nakuru and Naivasha is one of the best ‘bang for buck’ experiences I could have ever hoped for. Communication with the team was super easy if you give yourself enough time to buy a cheap sim card. Our tour guide, Charles, was always on time, full of information and help, and knew the ins and outs of the Mara which meant we saw the big 5 all in two days! There is no internet for the first two days of the trip which is fine as we bonded as a group and it was nice to get away from the phone. Travelling with Jockey Tours was super reliable thanks to our guide Charles and the team back in Nairobi. The tour of the Masai Mara, Nakuru and Naivasha was incredible, an experience that cannot be captured in words unless you see it for yourself.

Outstanding Safari experience that exceeded all my expectations!
I was part of a group of eleven and Jocky Tours was nothing but extremely helpful, throughout the booking process and during the Safari. In particular we had lots of questions about Covid safety and testing before we left Kenya. We needn't have worried, Jocky Tours made sure we could enjoy the Safari and feel completely safe. They also arranged for testing towards the end of the 6 day safari so that we would have results prior to departing for the airport.
The safari itself was just epic. Our guides, Richard and James were extremely knowledgeable about every animal and plant we encountered. Not a single question went unanswered. Besides their extensive knowledge they were both extremely fun and engaging. All eleven of us on safari felt like we had made new friends in Richard and James.
The locations we toured were stunning and varied during the six days. Everything from the plains and savannah to lakes and a Masai village where we got to learn about the culture and traditions of the Masai people.
I can't rate this experience highly enough. Use Jocky Tours for your safari, you will thank yourself later. Brilliant, brilliant job, Jocky Tours, thank you!

fast response, accurate and caring even before booking
The 3 day safari trip and the accommodation, AA lodge was really wonderful, it will be a pleasant memory for a lifetime!
Our consultant Minneh was more then helpfull even before we booked the trip with them.
Our guide Khalifa was a really good fellow with a lovely personality, and most importantly with great experience, thanks to which we could see animals and situations far beyond what we expected. Being at the right spot at the right time was his biggest streangth, so we didn't have to wait half a day to see lions, cheetahs and leopards up close, or 1000s of wilderbeasts crossing the river. He just always knew what is happening and where. In an 1.500 km2 park this was very impressive and helpfull for me : )
Lastly the 4x4 jeep was a big plus by itself, and worth the little extra cost. I was very happy to take the ride in it, and not a normal van, because this way we could experience a lot more. (Crossing more extreme pathways, and cutting down on the lengts of the route and saving time for more adventure.)
Despite the more than correct price I think we got a 6* service.
I can only recommend the whole team.
If you book your trip with them, you don't have to worry about anything.

Amazing and unforgettable experience!
Everything about Jocky was great since the first minute I contacted them. They were very helpful, and communication was always smooth. Once in Nairobi, my driver Joseph was very patient with me while I had to stop to get some cash. Also, extremely helpful with everything I needed - even a PCR test during the tour. Joseph was always asking us how we were, explaining everything about the Safari and telling us all the animals’ names. He found lions, cheetahs, leopards, rhinos, mongoose and hienas for us. We say babies (lions and cheetahs and all the baby zebras as well), and he was always delighted to see how happy we were while seeing all the animals. I’m happy to recommend not only Jocky Tours but Joseph as well. He’s amazing! Everything was perfect! ❤️
