This was an unforgettable experience in Tanzania!!!
Our tour guide, Karim, was knowledgeable and friendly. The tour provided amazing accommodations and meals. We really enjoyed learning from Karim about the animals and the area in general— he even taught us some Swahili! Doing the three day safari was so fun because we saw so many amazing animals. I’ll never forget spending so much time in nature and it was also neat to meet some Masai people. Our guide Karim really made it a better experience with his enthusiasm and kindness. Thank you so much!! We loved it! Asante sana

Great experience excluding tour guide, Mr.Noely
Yes, I and my wife could see a lot of animals including all Big5 in this tour, it was great for us.
We got satisfied with it.
But our tour guide, Mr.Noely, his attitude to us was terrible, he ruined our experience.
We're really regret choosing this tour ant giving Mr.Noely tips.
The biggest reason why we're thinking so, is that he denied our religion.
In a convesation, we taught him that many people in our country believe in Buddhism.
He said to us,
" I HATE BUDDHA."
.....What ?? Why can he deny the religion others believe in ??
If you dislike other religion, you must not tell others that.
(We didn't say anything about his comment because we already understood his terrible humanity at that time, and of course we were afraid that he could abandon his responsibility to let us see animals tomorrow.)
The second reason is, he perfectly blamed his traffic violation on us.
He committed a traffic violation because we didn't fasten seatbelt on back seat of a car, and he had to pay the fine of it.
Then his attitude to us got terrible, drove dangerously with many tsk, and told us anything in a car.
Yes, it's true that we didin't fasten seatbelt, but that was because it's NOT illegal in our country, besides he NEVER told us "fasten your seatbelt."
Finaly, we decided that we gave him money ..... to save our lives and the rest of our tour.
There're so many other reasons why Mr.Noely 's humanity was terrible, but the margin is too narrow to contain it.
According to him, Mr.Noely have a 3 years-old daughter.
You must be an adult, because your child always see how parents behave, listen to what parents say.

Kilimanjaro Machame Route - Perfect!
As there are so many tour operators offering a kilimanjaro trek, only the people that organize and accompany your trip and the team that will lead you to uhuru peak make the difference. We had a totally stunning experience with Migration Expedition as we made it to the top via machame route. I had a really long e-mail-correpondence with amos to organize our whole trip to tanzania and he answered all my questions fast & comprehensive. Amos picked us up at the airport and we felt in really good hands from the first moment. He made us feel real welcome. In the evening we got to know our guide Nicholas. On the next day we started our trek with our guides Nicholas und Rasheed. They took so much care of us. Always in with some motivating stories, singing some tanzanian songs and playing the newest songs from tanzanian nightlife by phone. It was awesome. No question that these guys took is to uhuru peak! We can highly recommend the migration expedition team including Amos (CEO), Nicholas (Guide), Rasheed (Assistent Guide), Ramazan (Cook) and Armani (Waitor). After kilimanjaro we had a trip to a coffee plantation and a waterfall with Amos and Nicholas. That was also a real nice day. Talked a lot about the different tribes and cultures in Tanzania, thats a big plus of local tour operators, because they know so much about their country and they like to talk about it. And then we made a safari (4 days, 3 nights) with our guide Innocent and Ramazan (Cook). We had so much fun these 4 days and the guys were knowledgeable, experienced and tried everything to show us as many animals as possible. All in all, perfect trip that we will never forget!
- organisation: 5 stars
- equipment: 5 stars (depends on the price you want to pay)
- price/value. 5 stars
- people: 5 stars +++
Thank you!

Efficiency, knowledge and courtesy: Experience joy with Migration Kili Expeditions and Safaris
I was so impressed by the organisational capacity of the owner of Migration Kili Expeditions and Safaris on my expedition to Kilimanjaro , that I asked him to create another custom-made safari for me in which I not only visited Tarangere , Serengeti, Ngorongoro but saw the Olduvai gorge - the birthplace of humanity. The guides on both expeditions were exceptional : Rogath Ephren Mtuy- who not only holds the world record for ascent to the summit of Kilimanjaro and return to Marangu park in 14 hours and 50 min , but is an expert on the local plants and flowers and their healing properties or other uses. Cyprion , my guide on the safari , not only looked after me - erecting tents, managing a superb cook, manoeuvring his jeep according to my whims as a photographer , but had a depth of knowledge about, and respect for all the animals and their way of living and being . Both guides clearly loved their work and their courtesy and charm were outstanding.
As an older lone traveller , journalist and photographer, being explicitly catered to , this experience was way beyond expectations : not just what nature had to offer and my increased understanding and respect for other species, but in my trust of the organiser and guides who showed a responsiveness and intelligence, a depth of caring ,without patronisation , rarely met with in life.
I have written 2 articles for Projects Abroad and Ujumbe Magazine, Arusha - at present on
www.mytripblog.org/pg/bog/laolao
entitled ' TRUST ME TRUST ME : you can travel alone.'
and 'THE WILDERNESS IS THEIR HOME'
They include photographs . Perhaps you would like me to forward you the articles ? Let me know how .

Migration Venture Africa provides an amazing safari experience! They are very responsive and provide a lot of information prior to the safari. They are also very accommodating. Our guide, Karim picked us up from our Airbnb and dropped us off at our hotel. The entire safari was an amazing experience! Karim was knowledgeable and made sure we had everything we needed! Highly recommend!

Great tour, brilliant guides, overall tour planning could use polishing
Overall we really enjoyed our tour which was a 3 day safari followed by a 7 day Kilimanjaro climb. The food was great, the Kili guides were brilliant and the porters all first class.
What could use improvement is the overall organisation of the trip for the following reasons:
1. Despite having picked the Safari for the accommodation which we carefully selected for our honeymoon, we were taken to a completely different place on one night and when we questioned this we were told the other one was probably full. Nobody ever attempted to advise us ahead of time and this should have been booked when the deposit was taken earlier. It was a similar but I believe slightly lower standard.
We never went to the final national park that was stated on the Safari itinerary. We weren’t bothered by the change but it was never advised why this happened, and if you had booked the tour specifically for each of the different national parks I can imagine being quite annoyed.
We were put on a 7 day Kili climb with another couple despite having booked the 8 day climb. The difference between the two tours was $200pp ($400 total) which was never offered as a refund (and would have been gratefully received). We ended up having to spend quite a bit of money reconfiguring our flights and accommodation to the new schedule so this was less than ideal. One of us didn’t make it up to the summit due to altitude sickness symptoms which may not have been the case had we remained on the 8 day.
Essentially we just felt that we should get what we booked/paid for and if any changes are necessary that they be communicated to us ahead of time and compensation offered where the offering is changed.

Very polite, helpful, friendly, competent, intelligent, and has extensive knowledge about the animal
The very best safari guide I had the pleasure of experiencing was Deniz Mlay, also known as NJOFU. This man knows exactly what he's doing. Not only does he speak excellent English and have extensive knowledge of Tanzania, but he is also respectful and goes out of his way to satisfy his guests. Let me start from the beginning. He first gave us a brief overview to refresh our understanding of the upcoming safari.
Then we set off, and during the drive, there were always pleasant conversations, and we learned a lot about the country and the locals. Once on the safari, Deniz Mlay was right at home; he knew the area better than anyone else. He was not only a superb driver but also knew every shortcut and route. He was familiar with the staff at the park entrances, which allowed us more time to see animals in the national parks since he helped us get ahead of others.
Deniz Mlay also has an incredibly extensive knowledge of the animals and the nature there. He could answer every question. We saw almost all the animals you could hope to see—INCLUDING A RHINO!
Even after the safari, he remained helpful, doing everything to meet our needs. For instance, when we wanted to buy souvenirs, he took us to the local museum to ensure we didn't overpay.
I can only recommend this safari guide/ expert and would gladly go on another safari with Deniz Mlay NJOFU anytime!

Simply great
The safari was our absolute highlight of the holiday. 4 days of safari and 3 days in the national parks was just great and we would do it again in a heartbeat with our safari guide and expert Denis mlay A.K.A NJOFU. Dennis always tried to show us the animals that we really wanted to see. He looked after us well, got us drinks, red bananas and organized a Masai tour. Thank you for everything! :)

Incredible wildlife experience with friendly, helpful and knowledgeable guide
We had the most amazing experience during our private safari with Migration Venture and our guide Bonny. He was a fantastic driver, and very friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks to his keen eye and expertise, we saw the big 5 and many other animals. The itinerary was perfectly planned, allowing us to explore Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, and Mto wa Mbu over the course of 5 days. There was also enough flexibility for small additions or adjustments, making the experience even more personalised and enjoyable. The lodges were also of great quality and offered good food (also plenty of vegetarian options)! In short, I would highly recommend going on safari with Migration Venture Africa and Bonny!
