Trustworthy tour operator
We had an overall good experience using Safari.com.
First of all, they really matched our needs in terms of the Safari experience we described we wanted and the lodge they suggested to us was truly exceptional.
They offer a lot of complementary benefits (e.g. SIM cards) which were beneficial to our stay.
The staff is kind and tried to be helpful. Monique was responding even on public holidays and weekends in order to help us sort logistics.
Overall I would recommend the service and use them again, but a few things could be improved to make this service feel truly "luxury service":
1) make sure to have a phone line that works, as we kept on having connection issues with getting someone on the phone which can be rather stressful when planning a trip 2) would be great for the travel agent to anticipate logistics on our behalf. A few logistical items could have easily slipped if we had not double clicked on them
Hope these improvements points help improve the service going forward, but the overall experience was very good

Efficient and persistent. They got me a booking at a difficult time.
The roads are a vast improvement. Reception was friendly and helpful. Chalet neat and tidy.Viewing very good
and rewarding. Only negative - people not obeying the rules. Good to see security improved at the entrance gate.

Prompt, friendly and professional communication from and with Mandy Pienaar.
Amazing being in Imfolozi Hluhluwe game reserves. Lots of animal sightings. Mpila camp staff were friendly, accommodation was clean and neat and adequate but mosquito meshes all badly damaged, cracks in the walls of our chalet, doors don't close properly due to having expanded. No keys for chalets, only latches on doors. Great braai and verandah. Great views. Very sad that there were no game drives offered by the camp. The staff at reception gave me differing stories - there were no vehicles and or there was nobody to drive the vehicles...

Kapama game reserve
We stayed at the kapama South camp. Truly 5 star treatment, we got picked up from the airport as promised. Our bedroom was exactly as had been promised. We managed 4 game drives in the 2 days we were in the lodge. Well fed throughout the day, staff were very attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly recommend it to others

A personal and responsiv experience even with a phone call to England
The safari lived up to expectations although more background literature would have been helpful on locations of the lodges and comparisons between the facilities at each. The guide was very friendly and passionate about everything!

Amusing experience
We liked the trip. It was a good and different experience. But we needed vacations after that "Vacations". Perhaps we did a lot in few days so it was a little wearisome ...
All the guides, drivers, chefs, waitresses were very kind.
one stop for safari in Kruger area
It was great to be able to have one agency handle all the reservations for our Kruger area trip, including shuttles between Johannesburg and the park and between lodges. The lodges were aware of our shuttle as well so that made it very easy. And I could pay by credit card online, so that was a plus.

We did the 3 day kruger camping safari and it was good!
Everything was up to expectations and we even saw the Big 5 (bar the white rhino). The tents we stayed in was great, with fan, power source and lights. Showering facilities were a couple minutes of walk away from our tents. We felt safe and secure. Food served was good as well and met plenty of awesome people from around the world as we chatted during dinner. Service from everyone was good as well. However, we were told that in the itinerary we will have a campfire where safaris stories would be shared but that did not happen. All in all, a great value for money!
