Wonderful safari, perfect organization, knowledgeable guide

We recently returned from a safari through South Africa and Mozambique, including stops in Zululand and Swaziland. This was our first trip to South Africa, so it was not without some trepidation. Well, our holiday was up to, and actually exceeded, all our expectations. The places visited, accommodations, activities, food and general organization were excellent. Our guide, Clinton J Venter, did everything to make this trip amazing. He was really professional and knowledgeable of wildlife, and at the same time friendly and good humored. A perfect driver. We've always felt safe! I would highly recommend this trip to everyone. Thank you Sunway Safaris for excellent organization, we'll travel with you again.

My recent Zimbabwe & Botswana Game Tracker Safari with Sunway Safaris was truly the adventure of a lifetime. Sunway delivered a phenomenal experience from start to finish, thanks in large part to their incredibly knowledgeable and highly experienced guides. Their passion for the wildlife, landscapes, and culture of Southern Africa brought every moment to life and made the journey feel both immersive and effortless.

The itinerary offered a terrific range of accommodation styles - each thoughtfully chosen to match the character of its location - and every stay was comfortable, welcoming, and uniquely memorable. Activities were exceptionally well organised, varied, and perfectly suited to each destination, giving us an authentic and diverse perspective of South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana.

It was an adventurous safari for people keen to discover the African nature.

As we looked for a reliable and not too expensive trip, Sunway seemed like a very good choice. And it did not disappoint! We experienced Africa to the fullest during the wild camping - an adventure that we really hoped for. It is not a trip for people that don't enjoy getting dirty or sweaty but a perfect option for Travellers. I would not hesitate to do it again!

A tour with Sunway Safaris is an amazing adventure

Even if I wanted to, I could not find anything negative to write about my tour with Sunway Safaris. For me, it was the trip of a lifetime. I got to know some amazing new places, learn about different cultures and connect with the other people on my trip. Being on a camping trip, I felt very connected to the nature around me and that I was able to explore the country in a closer way. It truly was an adventure with lots of breathtaking landscapes, fun trips, interesting animals and so much more. My guides, who were very professional and knowledgeable but also lots of fun, played a big part in making the trip such an amazing experience. They worked very hard to help us whenever needed and to bring us safely from one place to the next. The size of the group I travelled with was perfect. If we had been any more, I don’t think I would’ve been able to make such strong connections to my group members. I also felt like I got all my moneys worth on the trip. Considering the amount of food we got provided with, the included national park entrance fees, the included activities and the amount of driving we did, I would say the price of the trip was absolutely fair. Booking the trip was very simple and I always got fast and helpful answers to my questions.
I can definitely recommend booking a trip with Sunway Safaris. I am left with some incredible memories and can’t wait for my next trip with them.

Well organized, friendly and effective

The guides May and Colly, were Kind during all time, totaly focused in our satisfaction for meals ( both very good at preparing very tasting and nutricious food), in getting The Best possible wiews of landscape, animals, plants... I am sure that both contributed a lot for The excelent mood betwen trip participation

Well organized, good communication, good value

I did the Sunways Elephant Safari tour in July. There were 9 of us in the tour. We saw a lot of animals especially elephants. There is a lot of time spent driving, so be prepared for long hours in the bus. The lodges/tents we stayed at were pretty nice. The one thing I would change is getting more time in Botswana's Chobe national park. We arrived in the afternoon, and had a lovely trip on the river. However, I would have loved to spend a day, or at least half a day at the park. Instead we had to pay extra for 2.5 hours in the park with another company, and because it was so rushed, we didn't really get to see much.

The guides Aloyis and Allen were knowledgeable and professional. When things went wrong (like running into a sandstorm) they acted responsibly and with ingenuity.

Amazing adventure across South Africa

I did the rainbow route and it was amazing! Our tour guides Jeff and Norman were the best! They should really be chefs, as their cooking was fantastic! They always did everything in their power to ensure everyone was happy
