Finding animals where least expected
As somebody who has never went on a safari before, this was an amazing experience. Our guide, Jack, exceeded my expectations when it came to finding the animals of the savannah. For example, at the start of the tour I expressed skepticism that we would be able to see cheetahs, since I imagined them to be secretive and hard to catch, but on Day 2 we found an entire family of cheetahs enjoying their meal. In addition, the other highlight animals were lions, elephants, hippos, and hyenas (though no rhinos, but Jack explicitly said they were rare to find). Besides seeing animals, we also went to the Kenyan-Tanzanian border, which satisfied the geography nerd in me.
That said, it is important to come into the tour with reasonable expectations, as the reality is you will be in a rural part of a developing country. You will need to bring your own toiletries, headlamps, and mosquito protection; be prepared to take cold/lukewarm showers as well, and have electricity cut off at night. Of course, this is in and of itself part of the experience, as you would get a taste of how most of the world live their daily lives.

Amazing experience
The safari was amazing and we absolutely adored our driver Khalifa. He went out of his way for us to see the rhino and we managed to see the whole big 5. Will absolutely recommend it to all our friends and anybody who is interested.

magnificent experience with a very good team for this safari
The safaris went wonderfully, and met all my expectations. We were able to see all kinds of animals with our driver Moses who is incredible, he is 100% involved in the safaris so that you can see everything there is to see, the camp and hotel were also perfect, I highly recommend sharing a moment of safaris with the Axis Africa expedition group and especially having Moses as a driver. Thank you for these 4 incredible days

Provided an excellent service with a great itinerary
We had a 6 day trip that was very well thought out and the itinerary was excellent. We felt welcome from the moment we entered the Axis Safari office, everyone was friendly. Our guide, Jack, was awesome and made the trip all the more special. He was great fun and made sure we always had everything we needed. He was excellent at being in the right spot at the right time to see so many incredible animals. We were so fortunate to have him as our guide. I would 100% recommend Axis Safari to other friends who are thinking of doing a safari tour!

Amazing tour around beautiful Kenya with our fantastic tour guide Jack!
The tour was absolutely incredible, it showcased the most amazing parts of Kenya and we saw the most amazing animals.
Our tour guide Jack was incredible, he was so insightful and taught us a lot about the animals and culture.
Would definitely recommend this tour it really is a once in a lifetime experience!

Excellent Expierence
From the start till the end the communication with Axis Safari was perfect. The selection of the camp was also perfect.
Richy was the best driver! We saw all animals we wanted to see and he told us everything we wanted to know.

Trip of a lifetime with the best guide !
We had the most amazing 4 day tour with our group of 7 to Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru, staying at Jambo Mara Lodge and Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge. From start to end communications with Axis were super effective and Cynthia was very responsive, providing a comprehensive itinerary. The safari itself was incredible with our guide Ali, who had been a guide for 16 years. This showed! He knew where all the animals were, and had a huge network of guides that he could call to figure out where to go. He was an excellent driver and always in good spirits, always providing breaks at appropriate points and giving us choice and visibility of what was to come. On top of all that, he made sure we saw the "big 5" animals, despite cheetahs, leopards and rhinos being much harder to find! Absolute trip of a lifetime - thank you Axis, Cynthia and Ali!!

Really wonderful experience!
We had such a wonderful trip in the Mara. From my first conversation with Silas when booking, I felt like I knew it was going to be great. The communication and booking process was fantastic, Silas was super friendly and helpful for the entirety of the trip. Sopa Lodge was amazing, the rooms were lovely, food was incredible and the staff were super attentive, helpful and friendly. Our safari guide Leroy was just amazing. He was so knowledgeable and catered to all our different wants and needs on safari as a mixed group. Leroy went above and beyond to allow us to see what we were hoping to see and to get the best moments and photos with the wildlife. On top of all that, he was such good fun, great to chat to, answering all my questions and sharing so many laughs and smiles with us. Leroy made our trip go from great to absolutely amazing! All around we had a once in a lifetime trip to remember, Asante sana ❤️
