Good Budget Safari
Communication with company was very good prior to safari. They were quickly responsive to any question that we had. Upon arrival, pick-up at the airport was smooth and tour group was able to arrange for in-town transportation for us as we had a full day in Arusha before the start of our safari. The driver was professional and Footslopes arranged for a good price.
Footslopes walked us to an ATM machine and helped us pick out SIM cards and then properly load them on our phones. This was really appreciated.
The safari vehicle was nice and comfortable with a pop-top to be able to take good pictures of the animals.
The wildlife and bird watching was excellent in all of the parks we visited. Our guide was quite knowledgeable about animals and birds.
This is a budget safari and if you're not as worried about dining selections and hot water and more worried about animals and birding, then this is the safari for you.
We do recommend this tour but with the knowledge that it is a budget/value option.

4 day budget safari
Me and my partner went on a group safari, budget camping for 4 days, visiting Tarangire NP, Serengeti NP and Ngorongoro crater and we had an wonderful experience. Communication with Foot Slopes was very good throughout the booking, they answered our questions always the same days as we sent them. A driver was already waiting for us when we arrived at the airport and took us to Arusha and the rest of the group (we were a total at 6 persons). Our guide Nickson was very professional and patient (though the group sometimes had different opinions about how much time to spend at different places and animals) and did everything he could to make us see many animals as close as possible. We were lucky to spot a rhino our last day so in the end we saw the big 5, we also spotted giraffe, zebra, hippopotamus, cheetah, warthog, hyena, etc etc. The vehicle was comfortable. Food was OK though personally we would prefer to eat something more local as the chef sometimes failed being a bit too ambitious making us fries, pizza and other "western food" when we all were just craving for rice, chapati, curry, veggies or else. After safari Foot Slopes helped us to find a nice budget hotel in Arusha and the day after they drove us back to the airport for no extra cost. In summary we are really pleased with the safari and the excellent service Nickson and the rest of the team from Foot Slopes offered us. We can warmly recommend them. Have in mind before booking the same 4 day budget safari that it's a lot of distance and many hours driving at bumpy rodes if you want to go to Serengeti NP.

Accurate, friendly, skilled; definitely value for money.
Swift and accurate answers to questions during preparation-phase, friendly and skilled staff and personnel, adequate facilities, good driver/guide, nice cook, good program with adequate adaptation, first two days all by ourselves and thereafter nice companions. Guide responded patiently to our answers and wishes, never impatient or in a hurry. Succeeded in showing us the big, the small and the ugly five.

Great experience!
I was on vacation in abu dhabi, where my brother lives. And i wanted to go on a safari from their on. A friend of my brother got my in touch with them and from the beginning the contact and service was great!
I’ve been in Tanzania for 5 days. The picked me up from Kilimanjaro airport and brought me to Arusha. I slept in arusha for the night in a good hotel for a good price! The next morning they took me to the camp near all the parks. Everything was arranged great! I had no worries, i felt safe and most important it was on of the best vacations ever! Also during the vacation. I noticed that i had 1 day to kill and i didnt have a place to sleep. So i asker them if they could book an extra night for me in the hotel. That was no problem and they arranged everything for me!
I highly recommend foot slopes to everybody! A great tour operator for a good prixe!

Best safari ever!!
Fredrick, guide/driver, was just excellent. He cared animals above everything else. We enjoyed the way he showed us the region. And he drove a safari car so good we felt safe for the whole journey! Food was also good. They cooked us plenty of food and we were full all the time. It is the best memory in Tanzania. ありがとう！

Good value for price
The company has provided us with a nice safari experience. During the booking the communcation was fast and they provided feedback on a down payment (which we chose to do so we don't have to get a crazy amount of money from the ATM in Tanzania) on their own initiative. Due to the proper communication I already felt the company is trustworthy. The stay in Arusha, included before and after the safari, was properly arranged and went without problems. During the safari we had an excellent driver, Mr. David, who kept the vibe up. He has interesting stories and is nice to talk with. Mr. Philip, who was our chef (or as they call it, the stomach doctor), prepared tastefull food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Portions were also of good size! All in all, our safari with Foot Slopes Tours & Safaris has been an amazing experience.

Great service, affordable prices!
From the very beginning the communication via email was excellent. Almost every time i sent a message to Foot Slopes I received a reply the same day. They took care of everything, starting from picking up from the shuttle bus, arranging a comfortable accommodation in a hotel, organizing the professional staff for both Kilimanjaro trekking and safari trip, everything was exactly as agreed and discussed prior to our arrival to Africa. I can definitely recommend their services to anyone who likes to deal with solid and professional companies.
Christmas Safari - Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater
We had a wonderful experience with the Foot Slopes team who kept us comfortable and satisfied. We realised we had forgotten our camera battery which could have been a disaster but they organised a new one for us and got it delivered in less than 24hrs!! Godfrey our tour guide and Hamisi our cook were exceptional. They were patient and friendly and went above and beyond the whole trip to make sure we had the very best experience. We were sorry to say goodbye to them in the end. We have had many tour guides throughout our travels and Godfrey ranks among the best!

Big five;)
We did a 4 day safari with foot slopes on november 9,2016. There was a group of 6 of us with our guide and driver Omar and cook William.Omar was very knowlegable and patient and answered all of our questions. And thank to him we saw the big five and many many more. Chef was also good and kept us well fed. Nature is gorgeus and it really was like in national geographic. My favorite thing was sleeping in tent souranded with open plains and wild animals. The only thing that could be better is the state of showers and toilets in campsite but that is just the way africa is. Overall we are very satisfied with everything. Thank you
