Safari goes the extra mile…life long memories
Overall the safari was incredible! As a combination, the four parks we visited allowed us to see so many of the amazing animals and bird life found in Tanzania. Animals were plentiful and the vehicle and accommodation fitted us perfectly as a family. Our guide, Shafino, was a true legend of the parks. Not only did he know where to go to find all the animals on our wish list, but his detailed knowledge of all things that run and fly was next level. I highly recommend Lion Safari and Shafino as a guide. Thanks for the great memories.

The guide was AMAZING!!!
A safari in Tanzania is already a trip of a lifetime so i was excited to make it happen. A friend recommended Lion King adventures and they completely exceeded any expectations that i had. Our guide, Saleh, absolutely made our trip and i cannot thank him enough (i'm not much of a tipper but i left him a heavy one!). He was the most personable, kind and accommodating guide with eyes like a bald eagle, spotting things that we could barely see with binoculars! With some very long and bumpy drives, i could only imagine what it would be like if Saleh wasn't the way he was. He taught me some Swahili, i got to know more about him and his family alongside Tanzanian culture, and he was super knowledgable with everything we asked about the animals. We stayed in 3 lodges during our visit...
Tarangire Ndovu Tented Lodge (1 night) - So scenic and tranquil with great food and service
Nyota Luxury camp (2 nights) - This exceeded expectations with the beauty, friendly staff and the food was great... we had a private dinner while lightning was striking across the sky of the serengeti and wildebeest and buffalo were not more than 30m away (Maasai security were sharp!)
Ngorogoro Oledani Mountain Lodge - beautiful luxury rooms on a huge compound with exemplary service.
I proposed to my girlfriend on this trip and with the help of Saleh and Lion King adventures, it was an experience that we will never forget! Thank you so much for an amazing Safari!

Professional, organised and knowledgable.
We had a fantastic experience with Lion King Safaris. Our guide, Pius, went above and beyond to make sure that our safari experience was perfect. He was so professional and helpful throughout. We valued his knowledge of the wildlife in the different parks and he was entertaining company for the 5 days we were away.
We stayed in some fantastic places and valued the excellent organisation of the company as our trip was seamless from start to finish. We were lucky to see the Big Five, and Pius made it his mission to ensure that we saw as many different animals as possible. We would really highly recommend Lion King safaris - they will work tirelessly to meet your every need.

Lion King provides exceptional service and once-in-a-lifetime experiences
Lion King Adventures planned the trip of a lifetime for us. We opted for the 8-day safari and beach tour, and it was the best trip we have ever taken, thanks to Lion King. We looked at several tour companies prior to booking our trip and we decided to go with Lion King because they have great reviews online, their prices are competitive, and they are a local company based out of Tanzania. Our tour consultant, Pendo, booked the most beautiful hotels for us, plus all of our meals and transportation. Whenever I had a question about how to prepare for the trip, Pendo was always more than helpful. Our safari guide, Ozzy, was knowledgeable and has a keen eye for spotting even the most elusive animals. Ozzy always made sure we were front and center for every animal viewing. Furthermore, I felt safe and cared for the entire trip. I would absolutely book another safari with Lion King Adventures.

Luxury and well organised
I absolutely loved the whole process of booking my Africa trip with Lion king adventures. From intially organising my trip with Pendo / Nickson over email, to once I'm there, with my friendly and knowledgeable guide Leonard, it all went smoothly! My driver from the airport (Tumain) was also lovely to chat too who took me from Kilimanjaro to Arusha.
Accommodation, food, vehicles were all above expectations - I was looked after like a king!
Conversation in English was never an issue with Leonard, he explained many facts on animals and the landscape, especially about the reason Serengeti is so flat and treeless! Loved my time on safari! Even saw a lioness take down a Zebra very close to where we had parked!

Wonderful honeymoon safari
Our African safari with Lion King Adventures was an absolute dream come true! Standing with Pendo who booked the trip, was very patient and came up with several different options to make sure it met our desired length of stay and level of accommodations. From the moment we arrived in Tanzania, our honeymoon felt incredibly special thanks to the choice of lodges that exuded luxury and charm. The breathtaking landscapes, magnificent wildlife, and enchanting sunsets made every day unforgettable.
However, what truly set this experience apart was our incredible tour guide, Enock. He was not just a guide, but a storyteller, a friend, and a true ambassador of Tanzania. Enock went above and beyond to ensure we didn't miss a single wonder of this beautiful country. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and warm personality made the journey even more extraordinary.
Every step of the tour surpassed our wildest expectations. It's rare to find such a perfect blend of adventure, comfort, and genuine connection with both nature and the people. Lion King Adventures is a fantastic Tanzanian tour company with a highly responsive/competent team!
Bottom line: If you are planning an African safari, Lion King Adventures is definitely a team of highly skilled professionals that we would strongly recommend. From the front office help (Rose and Caroline) to our wonderful guide (Freddie), we had a truly jaw- dropping experience. Every question was answered (and we asked a lot of them), every need met and every dream realized.
This was a 15 day experience (10 day safari and 4 days relaxing in Zanzibar). The accommodations were terrific and the food was outstanding. When there were unexpected issues (KLM-lost luggage), the Lion King team was immediately on top of it and the problem was resolved.
Our guide, Freddie, was incredibly knowledgeable. He could spot animals so quickly and immediately get us close for photos. He worked well with other guides, communicating regularly, so as to make sure we saw the 'big 5' and a host of other interesting animals.
In closing, if you are considering a safari, choose Lion King Adventures. We could not have asked for more. KUDOS to the Lion King Team!

Fantastic journey

Magnificent Safari Experience
There are not enough words to describe how phenomenal our safari experience was! From the beginning of planning to the safari itself, Lion King was professional and helpful. The trip consultant who helped me select the itinerary was thorough and timely with responses. Rose took over once I selected the itinerary and moved forward with planning. She was patient and answered every question right up until our departure. The driver who picked us up at Kilimanjaro was friendly and gave us basic information for the start of our safari the next day. Then, that is where the real magic happened.
Richard, our guide, was everything we could have hoped for and more. His passion for the parks and the animals was evident during the entire safari. He was just as excited to find animals as we were. He was so patient with our many questions (it was like we became kids again with our many, random questions about the animals and their habits lol) and he was extremely knowledgeable. Richard knew key locations to find hard to spot wildlife. We saw a leopard, 12+ cheetahs (including babies!), and more lions than I can recall (including two sightings eith with recent kills). Richard was the ultimate host and guide and constantly had our best interest in mind. His personality was kind, amiable, and fun. I honestly think that the safari guide can make or break the entire experience, and Richard made our experience unforgettable while setting a high standard for our expectations on future safaris. We will absolutely request him again if/when we return.

Great custom made experience!
If you are looking for an experience that will exceed your expectations, then Lion King Adventures is a great choice. We spoke with them several times before confirming our decision, and they made sure to select the best package to make our experience unforgettable. The hotels they recommended were great, and the tour guide was very experienced and friendly, always making sure we were having a good time, and understanding the fact that we were coming from a very far, and very different culture.
They definitely have the right attitude towards hospitality, and will do everything possible to make you feel at ease and enjoy your adventure.
