Engaging, Enthusiatic,Funny, patient, good communicator, organized and sensitive tour operator...
5/5

Ronald's sense of humour and knowledge about almost everything that the team asked about during the safari. On good friday my friends and i set off from Ntinda a kampala suburb enroute Kidepo National park in the northeast part of Uganda, barely an hour onto the trip, Ronal whispers into my ears that "Florah you are soon tasting the best roasted chicken in this republic" oh boy we get to Namawojjolo and the chicken is finger licking of you cant compare it with the famous KFC chicken, we proceed towards the east part of the country.

Ronald is kind enough to describe the major scenery we come across like the famous largest forest Mabira, the old and new bridge at the river nile in Jinja, the ever green vegetation as we approach river Mpologoma, this rings a bell, reminds me of my high school geography lessons. he described the formation of the Wanale ranges and for once in a lifetime i missed school.

At exact 3:00pm we arrive at sipi town ready to hike the 3 Sipi falls sites, the joy that fill my heart is an equivalent of a little baby upon seeing their mom's breast. One would wonder why the place was filled with laughter and giggles only to be later informed that these people get excited upon seeing Ronald whatever it is God knows. fast forward my friends and i get to enjoy and experience the magical Sipi falls and spend the night.

I will be back tomorrow with review about Day 2 of this safari

Wonderful itinerary and incredible experience!
5/5

We just returned from an 11 day trip through Uganda for my family of 6, including our 4 children. It was AMAZING! I was concerned how our younger children would do on such a long trip (my youngest is 9), but we all loved every second. Each stop on the trip brought another adventure we were excited to have.

Ronald was very responsive while preparing for the trip. I had many questions, but he always responded to my emails and was patient while we made plans.

Highlights: The gorilla trekking was incredible. The permits are expensive, so we were hesitant if it would be worth it, but for most of us it was our favorite experience. My younger children loved river rafting in Jinja the most. And we all enjoyed the game drives. My favorite part was not having to worry about any of the details! Our guide (Simon) took amazing care of us and knew what we would need before we did.

From the awe-inspiring landscapes, wonderful people, tasty meals, and the magnificent wildlife that surrounded us, Bob (our guide) showed it all in this brief adventure! We would not hesitate for a moment to recommend Bob and Kajie Safaris (Ronald Muvunyi) to anyone seeking a truly remarkable and enhanced travel experience."

Kajie Safaris created the best Uganda travelling experience for me
5/5

Travelling around Uganda with Ronald for 7 days was an incredible experience. From the very start of the process booking the trip, Ronald was very punctual with email reply’s, answering all my questions required which made the whole process really easy.

The tour is well planned out, filled with exiting activities every day. Accomodation is absolutely beautiful including the people that we met along the way.

It’s hard to say what the highlight of the trip was because it was all fantastic but if it I had to choose one it would of been the gorilla trek day. This was an amazing experience that I will never forget and will cherish forever.

If I ever go back to Uganda (which I really hope I am) I will be going through Kajie Safaris. Ronald was an incredible tour guide and he was really fun to travel with. I asked Ronald what ‘Kajie’ means and Ronald said it means ‘to go’, and that’s exactly the approach he had, to go see what Uganda had to offer. And it definitely did not disappoint. Thankyou again Kajie Safaris.

Highly recommended

We have just returned from an 11-day safari in Uganda. I can highly recommend the tour operator "Kajie Safari". Even in advance, our questions were always answered immediately and competently. We also received a receipt for our payments immediately.
Our guide Ben took care of our well-being; he knows a lot about the animals and also told us a lot about the country and its people.
We were accommodated in very clean and very nice lodges. All in all: Kajie Safaris is a hot tip!

Attentive, patient and accommodating.
5/5

I could not recommend Kajie Safaris any higher. When I started planning our visit to Africa 10 months ago, I looked for itineraries that suited our needs and then started researching the different companies offering similar itineraries. Reading the reviews online about Kajie, I was honestly skeptical about a company that had that many 5 star reviews. Let me tell you after dealing with Kajie, Ronald who tirelessly customized the itinerary and answered my many questions promptly and our guide Robeson who was exceptional, I now know how they got all the 5 star reviews, THEY EARNED THEM. I would, without hesitation, use Kajie again myself and recommend them to family and friends. Thank you Robeson and Ronald for a such amazing safari including the gorillas in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Bweza Lodge and the Bush Lodge on the Kazinga Channel. I am grateful for the service and experiences you afforded us.
Thank you,
Bob and Shelley

Uganda's Best Guiding Company
5/5

Where do I start? We wanted to go with a local agency to avoid the rip-off that is paying an external agency a huge mark-up.

We chose Kajie for the reviews and they only exceeded expectations. We did a 9 day trip including 2 days of gorillas and chimps, QE national park, Murchison Falls, and Rhinos.

Firstly, Ronald, the founder of Kajie, was our tour guide. He is an exceptional human being and travel partner. My partner and I had such fun sharing the nine days with him and felt such a sadness leaving him behind. He is extremely bright, sharp-witted, superbly knowledgeable, an organisation machine, with a gigantic sense of humour and a big heart. From the first day we knew we had not made a mistake!

The tour itself was exceptional. Gorillas incredible (recommend more than one day) as was the area of Bwindi. Kajie organised exceptional accommodation (especially in Bwindi at Bweza and at Turaco Treetops, being the notable highlights). Chimps incredible. QE incredible. Murchison incredible.

Honestly there is nothing I can fault about this trip. It was a once in a lifetime experience and it was made all the better by sharing with such a great companion and guide.

Thank you so much to Kajie and Ronald for the passion toward guiding, nature, and conservation.

Vamos!

Kajie Safaris were phenomenal, outstanding, wonderful. The best!
5/5

I also picked Kajie Safaris - as others - on the back of reviews and was not disappointed. The experience was exceptional from my first email to Kajie Safaris to saying goodbye to Ronald, who was my tour guide and founder of the company, the tour was perfect. Ronald is so knowledgeable and proud of his beautiful country, which is only infectious. Book with Kajie Safaris and you will have a trip of a lifetime.
Ronald tailored my tour as I only had 4 nights and 5 days.
After a picturesque road journey from Entebbe we arrived at the amazing Bweza Gorilla Lodge, located at the edge of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. The service and accommodation were second to none. Judy, Gavis Alex and the team gave me a warm welcome and I was made to feel like a member of the family. The outside open fire at night was lovely. This place will always remain special to me.
In the morning I joined a trek to see the Gorillas, this was a magical experience. You are with a small group of people on the trek and spend a significant time with the Gorilla family.
Day 3 we drove again through spectacular scenery to the wonderful Elephant Hab Lodge, this is located on the periphery of Queen Elizabeth National Park and in the spectacular Kyambura Gorge. Another wonderful greeting from Barbara and her team with lovely accommodation, food and what a view of the park from the lodge.
We headed off late afternoon to Queen Elizabeth National Park and within an hour saw 2 lionesses, Uganda Kob, Elephants, Water Buffalo, Water Hogs.
The next morning I went on a Chimpanzee Trek and again not disappointed. My pictures say it all. In the afternoon I joined a boat cruise which is underestimated. You are so close to Hippos, Elephants, Crocodiles, Water Buffalo and amazing bird life.
The final day was the drive back to Entebbe. Ronald provided great pit stops throughout the tour for lunch or drinks.
I know this review is long but I can't stress how wonderful the tour was. Thank you Ronald....
