Wayfairer organization of our family trip and support was outstanding
We were a family party of 10 including 4 children from Calgary, Canada. We travelled to the Madikwe Game Reserve in South Africa and then onward to the Shanti Maurice resort in Mauritius in May 2025.
The service and support from Wayfairer (Toon) was outstanding. Toon was always available to respond to any query prior to and during the trip.
The Madikwe Game Reserve was a magical experience for my family but in particular my 4 grandchildren. We all had a wonderful time. The service at the Lelapa Lodge was excellent. I cannot speak too highly of the staff. Our guide Mike was so helpful and informative. We were all very sad to leave after 4 days.
The Shanti Maurice resort in Mauritius is beautiful. Again, the service from the staff was wonderful.
All in all a wonderful family vacation and we are very grateful to Wayfairer for the meticulous planning of our trip. Everything went perfectly. This was not an inexpensive trip but it was worth every penny. We will definitely use Wayfairer for our next international adventure.

Provided an incredible itinerary to experience many adventures in South Africa & Zimbabwe
Our itinerary included all parts of what I wanted to experience in this trip. Guides ,drivers and tour leaders were perfect, knowledgeable, prompt and brought a lot to the plate!Cape Town, the Garden Route, Safari and a sleep out and a trip to Zimbabwe in 20 days was fabulous. Self drive tour of Drakensberg mountains, Lesotho and Kwazulu-Natal. Amazing recommendations, especially of the battlefields and safari lodges. Everything was seamless on arrival and better than my expectations. Would definitely use Wayfairer again!

Perfect Dream Safari Thanks to Wayfairer!
Wayfairer (with the help of Ellie and Aggie) planned and executed my dream safari trip. They were incredibly organized, knowledgeable, and responsive throughout the entire process. I initially described my ideal trip on a brief phone call with Ellie and she planned the PERFECT trip that exceeded all my expectations.
All of the travel within Kenya was seamlessly organized and I felt incredibly safe the entire time. I absolutely loved all of the camps I stayed at (Elerai in Amboseli, The Safari Cottages in Ol Pejeta, and Speke's Camp in the Mara).

Well organised private tour
We decided to organise a 3-4 week tour of Laos/Vietnam and Cambodia and having been recommended by another travel agent we chose to go with Wayfairer Travel. From the initial planning, scheduling and extensive choice of excursions in each country we finally made up our minds on a private tour with driver and guide in each location throughout the tour. We were not to be dissapointed. The overall planning, advice and attention to detail from Wayfairer's specialists was outstanding. Even the Final itinerary with attached advice on health, currencies and contact details was provided in an easy to follow colourful digital format.
The tour itself was very well organised, with pick ups and hotel transfers all on time. We requested 4-5 star hotels and we certainly got what we paid for in each location. Excursions were all organised to suit our preferences and daily timescale. From half and full day tours to evening tours on the back of Vespas with bars, restaurants, street food and live music thrown in, we were kept busy.
We would recommend all three countries, all different, all full of history, architecture and varying landscapes. Above all the welcome received from meeting the local people going about their daily lives, learning to embrace and develop tourism as a way of life, many of them having lived through a much darker past made Indochina, for us, a fascinating and never to be forgotten destination.

Fabulous, fabulous and fabulous!!
Wayfairer really listened to what I wanted and taylor made my 60th birthday celebration trip accordingly. I was lucky to be contacted by Ettiene who is extremely knowledgable of the region and planned our trip. Wayfairer was always within reach by telephone or email. Our first stop was Camp Khwai, which is a small rustic style tented camp. We were warmly greeted by Rebbecca and her team. The staff were very personable and helped make my 60th birthday celebration extra special, which included a birthday cake in the bush!! Our tent had a living room,private swimming pool, outdoor shower and bath. Emmex, our guide was super knowledgeable and a great tracker too, we learnt so much from him. We managed to see almost everything. A highlight for us was the vast atmospheric African skies at sunset which included an electric storm and light show! An unforgettable experience! The food was delicious and included a few Botswanan staples, all prepared by the chef at Camp Khwai. She had a difficult task as we had one vegan, one vegetarian and one pescatarian as well as non fussed eaters. The second part of our trip went off as smoothly as the first, all transfers were seamless and we were met at the border and taken to our lovely hotel in Vic Falls. We stayed at the Palm River hotel which felt more like a 5 star hotel rather than a 4 star. It was wonderful to see warthog, monkeys and a few impalas walking around the immaculate grounds. Ettiene had organised a sunset dinner cruise on the Zambezi, which was wonderful and more hippos were seen and a Boma experience the following night. The second day we, did the Vic Falls and as per recommendation, went to the Lookout restaurant for lunch and enjoyed the spectacular views as well as the food. We had the most fantastic experience, celebration and holiday. I can only highly, highly recommend Wayfairer and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

Incredible Trip - Can't Recommend Wayfairer Enough !!
Where to begin! It was a lifelong dream trip turned reality thanks to the amazing team at Wayfairer, specifically Dalia, Ellie and Issac (our guide in Tanzania). From the very beginning, ranging from recommendations, suggestions and handfuls of options matching desire and price, they were thorough, descriptive and extremely honest about what would best suit our needs. It was seamless from beginning to end! The itinerary laid out exactly what we were going to do and when, and it went off without a hitch! We never had to worry about our flights, cars to and from locations or our lodges. They handled EVERYTHING! It was truly the epitome of relaxation. Everyone we encountered took amazing care of us, the lodges, staff and towns in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, Ole Pejeta, Kenya, Masai Mara, Kenya, Serengeti, Tanzania, Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania and Mahe, Seychelles were INCREDIBLE!!!!! The staff, the hospitality, the FOOD - pure magic. This trip would not have been possible without the ease and help from the team at Wayfairer.
