A knowledge, kind soul who truly cares about making sure guests have an amazing time.
We did the 3-day, 2-night safari tour and had an absolutely amazing time! Our group of 12 women was well taken care of by Patrick and his team, who were incredibly patient and attentive throughout the trip. The exceptional service started even before the safari, as Patrick organized a group chat to help us communicate, ask questions, and prepare for the experience.
Our adventure began in Nairobi, where half of our group was picked up for a scenic road trip, while the other half flew to the destination. The ride was safe, comfortable, and filled with fun conversations. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a delicious lunch, setting the tone for what turned out to be an unforgettable trip.
That same day, we enjoyed our first game drive, and it was an incredible experience. Patrick and his team went above and beyond to ensure we made the most of our time. Over the course of the safari, we were thrilled to see all of the Big Five, with the lions being my personal favorite! We were lucky enough to see them on two different days, which was a highlight for me.
After the safari, we spent a full day back in Nairobi, where Patrick’s team organized visits to the iconic Giraffe Manor, followed by a delightful lunch and dinner. The entire experience was seamless and perfectly planned, allowing us to truly enjoy every moment.
I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a well-organized, safe, and unforgettable safari experience. Thank you, Patrick, and the team, for making this trip so special!

This was my first safari and Patrick with Sanjoy Tours provided a wonderful day-to-day experience. From the moment I left the hotel and traveled to begin the safari I felt comfortable, excited, and completely enthralled with the beauty of the landscape, scenery, and all of the many types of animals.
Our driver provided detailed information about the different types of topography and animals.

Great Safari company
My partner and I did a 5 day Nakuru and Masai Mara safari in December 2024 and had a wonderful experience. This was my 6th safari so the bar was set high and I was happy with everything. Our guide and driver Patrick, took good care of us and was very knowledgeable. He made it his priority to find the big 5 for us. We stayed at Lion Hill game lodge in Lake Nakuru National Park, the room we had was ok and the buffet was really good. In Masai Mara we had a luxury room at Prideinn Mara camp and loved it! It was located in the park so it was very convenient for our game drives. I’ve never had so many close encounters with big cats as we did on this trip. Overall we would recommend Shanjoy.

We saw a lot, had fun, and got around safely!
We did a tour that went to Masai Mara, Serengheti, Ngorogoro Crater and Amboseli in 7 days, which was a lot! The company made all the arrangements and got us safely everywhere. We saw so many animals and beautiful sites and the guides were knowledgeable. There were some moments where communication about logistics for the day could have been clearer, but overall we had an amazing time!

An amazing safari satisfing all our fantasy about Africa
We just had a great 10D/9N honey moon trip with Shanjoy. They customised our trip according to our requirments by taking us to Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire, and Amboseli, covering Kenya and Tansania. Thanks to Shanjoy's ability which can operate in both countries, they transported and helped us switch cars twice across borders smoothly.
For our guides, Patrick2 in Kenya is a great guide. He was patient, knowledgable about all animals and had a good sence of boundary. We learned a lot animal facts from him which really broadened our knowledge.
The accomodation was good and the food was beyond our expectations. Except 1night in the camp in Serengeti, there was a total blackout the whole night because of a power failure. We had dinner with only 2 candles in the dark, couldn't charge our phone and cameras, and no shower since no electricity for hair dryer. And the camp didn't do anything to make up for this. It was a very unpleasant night.
For the animals, we saw all big5 and ugly5 and even one cheetah hunting scene. Since it was low season, there were very few cars and tourists on the road and didn't have to wait for longtime to take close look on animals. This experience was quite good.
So that's our feelings about this trip. Hope we can came back later in the future.

Our journey started from Nairobi to Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire, Amboseli. Including a ballon flight over the Serengeti.
All 3 drivers gave us deep knowledge about the animals but also about other stuff. It is amazing how they spot animals while driving. We would never find most of the animals.
The middle class lodges were wonderful. Great meals, friendly staff, great service, very big rooms. Perfect.
Before and during the whole journey we got support from Shanjoy. Day and Night.
We recommand Shanjoy and would do everything again the same way.

Amazing personal service from start to finish !!!!
From my very first enquiry to the end of the holiday, Martin was exceptional. His communication and helpfulness were outstanding throughout. The itinerary he created and the accommodation he recommended were absolutely perfect.
I have limited mobility, but Martin went above and beyond to ensure my entire trip was not just comfortable but truly enjoyable. Our driver, Elijah, was warm, friendly, and insightful. Both he and Martin joined us in the Land Cruiser, bringing a wonderful, positive energy to the journey.
Overall, I could not fault Shanjoy or Martin. They delivered a fantastic holiday filled with unforgettable memories, all at a fair price. Thank you so much, Martin. We hope to see you again someday. Asante Sana.

Attentive
Me and my wife did the 7 days Kenya and Tanzania tour. Martin was our tour operator agent. He was communicative and responsive to all requests and doubts. The tour was well planned with him and all accommodations were excellent. The tour guide for the Kenya part, Nelson, was one of the best tour guide we have ever had. He was nice, communicative, and he was always explaining interesting facts about the animals. On the opposite side, the tour guide for the Tanzania part, Mackenzie, was not communicative and he should be more friendly to the clients (reason because of 4 star rating). All in all, we had a great safari, we saw the big 5 and many animals. I would choose again Shanjoy Tours for a safari

Unforgettable honeymoon in Kenya
This is actually our honeymoon trip. It was really an unforgettable experience for both my husband and me in Kenya. Our guide Dominic is a very experienced, talented guide and reliable person, always on time and fulfills all his commitments. With his guidance we gathered the Big Five within two Safari Days!
I will definitely recommend Shanjoy to my colleagues and friends in China.

Amazing company with personal touch
Shanjoy’s owner Patrick planned our multi generational safari for 16 people aged 9 to 77 from start to finish! We saw Amboseli, Ngorongoro crater, Serengeti, Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru. Patrick diligently worked to make sure we had lodges that fit our family which required 8 rooms one of which was a triple room. Our lodges were beautiful and luxurious with sounds of nature all around like hippos, birds and hyena calls. We saw some amazing things like a pride of lions eating fresh buffalo and two families with cub lions! We also saw giraffes, rhinos, baby elephants, baby topi, numerous birds etc! Our transfers were sometimes long with the bumpy and dusty park roads, but they were well worth it and we always had a comfortable bed and lodge at the end of the day with great meals! Our drivers/guides were always positive and knowledgeable. We appreciated Samuel telling us everything from information about animals, to the history of tribes in Kenya and current politics. How education has changed and the economical climate is changing too. The evolution of game parks and transportation/roads!
Patrick also had great attention to detail making sure the lodges celebrated one of my nephew’s 11th birthday and our wedding anniversary another night.
Patrick also welcomed us to his home and introduced us to his family on our last night of the safari before we went to an out of this world meal close to Nairobi airport where we got to try exotic meats.
Shanjoy is a great choice if you want a safari operator that has great attention to detail and a personal touch!
