A knowledge, kind soul who truly cares about making sure guests have an amazing time.
We did the 3-day, 2-night safari tour and had an absolutely amazing time! Our group of 12 women was well taken care of by Patrick and his team, who were incredibly patient and attentive throughout the trip. The exceptional service started even before the safari, as Patrick organized a group chat to help us communicate, ask questions, and prepare for the experience.
Our adventure began in Nairobi, where half of our group was picked up for a scenic road trip, while the other half flew to the destination. The ride was safe, comfortable, and filled with fun conversations. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a delicious lunch, setting the tone for what turned out to be an unforgettable trip.
That same day, we enjoyed our first game drive, and it was an incredible experience. Patrick and his team went above and beyond to ensure we made the most of our time. Over the course of the safari, we were thrilled to see all of the Big Five, with the lions being my personal favorite! We were lucky enough to see them on two different days, which was a highlight for me.
After the safari, we spent a full day back in Nairobi, where Patrick’s team organized visits to the iconic Giraffe Manor, followed by a delightful lunch and dinner. The entire experience was seamless and perfectly planned, allowing us to truly enjoy every moment.
I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a well-organized, safe, and unforgettable safari experience. Thank you, Patrick, and the team, for making this trip so special!

Shanjoy was very easy to work with and the tour guides were extremely knowledgeable and friendly.
Communication was easy and responses were quick. They were very accommodating with our itinerary requests. Everything went smoothly (outside of a missing suitcase upon arrival, which they were very helpful in helping us retrieve from the airport). The value for the money was outstanding compared to other quotes received. One piece of feedback is that we were not made aware that we would switch guides between Kenya and Tanzania, which would have been nice to know beforehand. Overall, 5 stars, highly recommend!

Great company that does everything tonmake the customer happy
We had a great experience, from the communication before the safari, the advise what to do and not to do, to the safari itself.
We had great knowledgeable drivers, they were nice and had very good communication skills while also staying professional. The camps and lodges selected were great overall, some better then the others of course. I would book again with Shanjoy if I go on another safari.

A misfortune turned out to be a good fortune!
I had the misfortune of having Bells Palsy during our 8-day Kenya-Tanzania Safari with Shanjoy Tours. Patrick and his Tanzania partner were so concerned that they moved us to Serena Lodge (a 4-star hotel in Tanzania) where a doctor is on call. The doctor attended to me and gave me medication. I stayed in the hotel to rest the next day and then proceeded to Serengeti for the game drive. Because there was a hospital in Karatu where we were billeted the next day, I went to the ER where the doctor ruled out anything serious. Our driver Abu was such an angel driving me to the hospital and the airport. I flew to Nairobi the following day where Patrick personally picked me up to drive me to my hotel. My misfortune turned out to be a good fortune to have our Safari with Shanjoy. Patrick went out of his way to deal with my medical issues as a “person”, not just a transaction with a “customer”. He was hands-on every step of the way and I truly appreciate it. I will always remember the kindness and concern Patrick and his Tanzania partner extended to me in my hour of vulnerability. Thank you so much!

A growing tour operator that deserves trust
We selected this Tour Operator for a good balance between price and professionalism - probably there are more experienced companies but we wanted to give a chance to a smaller one. Willingness to do good, improve and grow; great communication and reliability. Patrick has always been ready to support and respond to queries; Joseph is a great driver even in difficult conditions (muddy roads). The tour was well structured and allowed us to see many animals despite the rainy season.

Unforgettable holidays
Shanjoy Tours managed our visit to Kenya and Tanzania in August 2023, Patrick took care of everything from the first day, we saw incredible places and documentary scenes that we will never forget. Totally recommended.

The experience with Shanjoy tours has been incredible. We have traveled the Masai Mara for two days and we have seen all the animals that can be seen but also a lioness hunting a gazelle, the migration passing through the Mara river and the crocodiles stalking their prey, a cheetah eating and while the jackals and the vultures waiting their turn, a lion or a lioness mating... it has been a spectacle and Patrick made it possible! He explained many things about life in the Masai Mara and helped us a lot with a problem we had with our luggage.
With Shanjoy you have the possibility to also visit parks in Tanzania such as Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire. There are few operators that will organize a safari outside of Kenya for you.
I totally recommend this safari with Shanjoy! It has been a great adventure!!

I saw the big five and lots of other amazing animals. I also visited the village of Maasai people and one of their houses. Great experience dancing with the Maasai.
