Great safari experience suiting our budget
I really loved the communication between Roselyne (Hyrax Safari's owner) and I. She really took care of us and planned everything according to our needs and budget. I'm super satisfied with her quick responses and basic support in certain issues we needed some help. The safari was excellent and the Amboseli National Park was simply gorgeous. We saw all kinds of animals and our guide Peter was super considerate and patient with us. I can totally recommend Hyrax Safaris and hopefully I can come back to Kenya and travel with them.

Amazing experience with an amazing group of guides and porters.
Really amazing experience for the money. Climbed mount kenya successfully in 4 days. The guides and porters at Hyrax safaris catered to my every need and were super friendly. Truly an amazing experience and I would defiantly recommend this service!

Impeccable service and fun times
Hyrax went above and beyond for our safari to the Maasai Mara. Peter was a great host and guide and made sure we got everything we dreamed of - we requested to see a leopard as a joke the first day and he delivered within 1 hour! We had a great time and have memories for the rest of our lives. Thank you Rose and Peter

Excellent service
I did two trips with hyrax safaris. Mount Kenya and maasai Mara safari. Both were incredible.
Mount Kenya was a very special experience. My guide Ben was great, we communicated very well together and he showed me the beauty of mount Kenya. The porters and chefs were absolute superhumans and always had a smile on their face.
Maasai Mara was wonderful, our guide Peter went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and well looked after. He was very knowledgable and made sure we found all the animals possible! The hotel (Ashnil camp) was wonderful, the food and staff was great.
Communication and booking with rose was so easy and always helpful. Can highly recommend .

Amazing safari
Amazing safari. Everything went great starting from the communication pre-departing. Roselyne was very helpful and replied to every question I had.
During the safari i had the best experience, with very competent drivers, trying their best to make sure we saw a lot of animals and have a great time! We saw so many animals and all the big 5. Thank you. Very recommended tour operator. Looking forward to retry the whole experience!

Unique safari trip
After discussing different options for safari trips i got a 3 in 1 tailor made deal. In two days a normal safari drive, the next day a bicycle safari ride which is another dimension to do this, followed by boat on a like to spot hippos and all sorts of wildlife. Great to this 3 in 1 trip in 2 days. Highly recommended!

Amazing Experience
We had a private photo safari in Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru. The tour operator Rosalie was very accommodating and when we had to delay our trip by a day due to covid testing, she rebooked us for the next day and she didn’t charge us extra. She also arranged the pcr testing for our departure from NBO airport by making sure there was a doctor to test us at Lake Nakuru, so we wouldn’t have to return to Nairobi a day early. Peter, our driver and spotter did a great job driving us everywhere, and even though some of the terrain was very challenging, especially after heavy rains, he navigated us perfectly en safely around the immensely beautiful park in his indestructible Toyota 4x4. We saw so many animals, and as a wildlife photographer I managed to capture so many amazing shots of almost every animal. I highly recommend Hyrax , and I will definitely book them again.

They have responsibility of what they are doing
She organized everything door to door and even if there was some few problem in pick up time, but she was available early in the morning at 6:00 and took care of everything. I like the way she was responsible even in bad situation.
