Amazing Experience
We had such a great experience with lappet faced safaris… Since we got in contact with them to arrange our safari, they did everything they could to fulfill our wishes and needs. They organized everything in detail and guaranteed an amazing experience.
We simply loved everything: from the safari itself, to the lodges we stayed, we came home amazed and planning to return as soon as possible. But we have to say it, what really made this trip so great was our wonderful guide, Aman
He is a real gentleman and one of the most wonderful persons we ever met. He has a deep knowledge about Tanzania, about the animals, about Africa, about life, and he shares it with passion.
He made our safari and our trip much better and it was a great pleasure to learn and to spend all those days with him. More than a guide, he became a friend. When we return, we want him on board again with us, as well of lappet faced safaris.

Wonderful Trip
I just got back from our trip last week and cannot say enough about the wonderful experience we had. Francisco planned a wonderful trip and our guide Godbless was a wealth of information. There were absolutely no surprises on this trip. Everything went very smoothly as planned. From the moment we arrived in Tanzania and until we boarded our plane to return home, our tour operator was readily available and ensured we were well care for. Even the first night, our tour operator made sure that the hotel would have a late dinner for us as our flight didn't arrive until 10:00 p.m. Our accommodations we're very comfortable and equaled the quality as presented in a brochure. The lodges had beautiful grounds, roomy accommodations and wonderful meals.
Our guide was wonderful and very responsive to our needs. Additionally, it was important to him that we had a great experience. I loved the fact that he always prepared us for the next day's game plan. The game drives were wonderful; but in addition, loved the cultural aspect as well. Meeting the Maasai, Hadzabe and the Datoga tribes was one of the major highlights of the trip. Especially, the opportunity to go hunting with the Hadzabe tribe. It is something not to be missed.
As for the value of this trip, I must say it was very reasonably priced. I really felt we got our money's worth.
I usually read tour reviews of other travelers but typically do not write any myself. However, I chose to this time because I was very pleased with the communication planning the trip as well as the trip itself....got to see the BIG 5!!!

Amazing! Experience of a lifetime
Our safari adventure was truly amazing. We got into the heart of spectacular Tanzania: Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara. The animals were all around us. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery and came home with fabulous memories and photographs. Our guide was knowledgeable and accommodating. He spotted animals across the wild plains and anticipated our every need. It could not have been a better week!

A vacation like no other, excellent organization and wonderful tour guide.
Beautiful safari, saw the big 5 and many others. Accomodations were excellent. Our tour guide Godbless was a wealth of information. Being on a private safari gave us some flexibility we really enjoyed. We always had time to stop and take as much time as we wanted to take pictures . Everything was planned out well and our tour went smoothly from start to finish.

Great safari with lappet faced safari
We did an 8 day safari with lappet faced safari that was excellent. We went to 5 national parks where we saw an amazing array of wildlife including about 10 lions, 5 cheetahs, a leopard, thousands of gazelles, antelope, zebras, wildebeest, 100s of elephants and hippos, lots of giraffes and countless birds. Gabriel was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and would stop whenever we asked him to but we really didn't need to ask as he was in constant contact with other guides in the area and would shoot off to wherever the wildlife was.The places we stayed varied quite a bit but that was dependent on what we decided. You can really spend whatever you want as you decide your level of stay.I highly recommend lappet faced safari as they were very responsive at every level

Unforgettable Safari
Completed safari in September 2019 with 2 other females. Our guide Amani was so nice & knowledgeable. We called him the animal whisperer because we’d say we wanted to see an animal & the next thing we’d know we’d be looking at one or more! We saw everything we wanted too, great food, & loved our Serengeti camp stay! We also enjoyed learned about the Maasai culture & visiting a village. The owner Francisco also got us 2 bottles of wine & was very responsive & cared about the quality of our stay!

A breathtaking, memorable voyage of dreams
This long-awaited trip required last-minute schedule changes mid-way due to illness and unavoidable flight disruptions, yet the Lappet Faced Safaris went out of their way to thoughtfully rearrange our entire itinerary for us.
Throughout our safari, our guide Noel made our experience absolutely wonderful and seamless, thanks to his extensive wildlife expertise, skilled driving, and intimate knowledge of every corner of the Serengeti National Park. Cheetahs are our favourite graceful creatures, and we were lucky enough to spot them on both our very first day and our final day in the Serengeti. We even caught sight of the rare springhare in broad daylight.
Later, when we travelled to Moshi town, we unexpectedly encountered a chameleon while the waterfall hiking. Without a doubt, this turned out to be an absolutely perfect, dreamlike adventure.
