Our experience with African Big Cats Safari was wonderful. The attention and care since the very first consultation was great, Justice solved all kinds of doubts, with fast and personalized attention
Already in Tanzania, our guide was Endeni. He managed to make us fall in love with Tanzania, with each story, with each anecdote, with everything he knew about animals, with his ability to take us to see incredible animals from 3 meters up close, guided by a simple footprint in the sand and mainly, for being a great person. (Endeni, we miss you!! ♥)
We knew that Tanzania and the experience of a Safari was going to be incredible, but they managed to exceed our expectations: the hotels were great, the kindness and help made us feel at home away from home, the food and preparation of everything, they left us very happy.
Emanuele, Justice and Endeni, you made us VERY happy!!! We carry you guys in our hearts!

Big cats safari is great because it is private and completely planned around your schedule and preferences. We had the absolute best time with our guide, Lord! The animals were right next to our jeep and it was truly the experience of a life time! Justice made planning the trip so easy and we are so grateful for the both of them! We also did a hot air balloon over the Serengeti which was the most beautiful and breathtaking experience ever! Thank you so much big cat safari for a trip I will never forget! Perfect from beginning to end!
My trip to Africa spanned nearly 30 days beginning in Cape Town, then to Johannesburg, Nairobi, Victoria Falls, and ending in Tanzania. I was so fortunate that the last 10 days were with our exceptional guide, Emmanuel.
Emanuel was more than an experienced guide, he is a wise naturalist. Not only did he know the names and habits of every single animal and bird we saw, he knew the botanical names for every piece of flora and fauna. And the man has bionic eyes! We came to know we were always in for a real treat when he would slowly pull our land cruiser to a stop and peer quietly out the window. And then he would point and say "look right there… it's a female lion… it's a black rhino… it's a herd of elephants…" Then he would drive us closer, often getting within five feet the amazing animals we had traveled so far to see. Emanuel was more than a guide, he became a friend.
Our accommodations and food exceeded our expectations every step of the way. On our next to last night in Tanzania, I discovered that a couple in our group was celebrating their 37th wedding anniversary. I passed the word to Emmanuel, who apparently radioed back to the chef at our camp. That night the chef had prepared a beautiful cake, inscribed with their names, complete with candles, which the entire staff presented with a fabulous dance throughout the tents singing a cheerful African song. I am sure that is a night they will never forget. I know I never will.
I am longing to return to Tanzania and my first contact will be Emmanuel. Thank you for memories that will last a lifetime!

An Unforgettable Safari Experience with African Big Cats Safari
We had an absolutely amazing 5-day safari with African Big Cats Safaris, and it honestly became one of the highlights of all our travels.
From the very beginning, the communication and planning were excellent. The team took the time to understand what we were looking for and created a trip that matched us perfectly, from the lodges and locations to the overall flow and style of the safari. Everything felt smooth, professional, and very well organized.
The safari itself was beyond anything we expected. Experiencing the endless landscapes of the Serengeti, the beauty of Ngorongoro Crater, and seeing so many incredible animals up close was something we will never forget.
A huge part of what made the trip so special was our guide, Thomas. Beyond being extremely knowledgeable about the animals, nature, and local areas, he was also a genuinely great person to spend these days with. He always knew where to go, was patient, flexible, and constantly adapted the experience based on what interested us most. Thanks to him, we had some unbelievable wildlife encounters and truly enjoyed every moment.
The safari vehicle was also excellent, comfortable, spacious, and prepared with everything we needed. The small details like cold drinks, snacks, and coffee stops in the middle of nature made the experience even better.
I would highly recommend African Big Cats Safaris to anyone looking for a professional, personal, and unforgettable safari experience. A big thank you to the whole team, and especially to Thomas, for making this adventure such an incredible memory for us.

The best in town
We spend 6 days and 5 nights with African Big Cats. The experience was just outstanding, maybe one of the best of our lives.
Venance our guide, was so cool. We highly recommend you to ask for him as a guide.
He knows and explains everything of the wildlife. Also he is really respectful with the animals contrary to other guide of others companies that rush only to be as close as possible even if they disturb the animals...
He is also really kind and attentives to our needs.
Moreover, during all the process of booking the safari, people were really attentive and reactive to our needs!
Finally, all the accommodation were high level. It's really secure. The food is really good even the lunches during the travel.

Nothing short of fantastic and knowledgeable.
We have just come back from a 6 night 7 day Safari with African Big Cats Safari. We opted for a comfort Safari but it was nothing short of luxury! Endini our guide was amazing. We went to Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater and lake manyara. Before we even entered the Serengeti we saw a lion and cheetah. We saw all of the big 5 and two rhinos in Ngorongoro. Endini is so knowledgeable and you can ask as many questions as you like. Endini made sure we could learn and see as much as we could. Not only about the wildlife but about Tanzania Culture too. He genuinely is an amazing person. All the lodges we stayed at were fantastic too with very good vibes and everyone is so happy and kind. Naomi who we dealt with in the run up to the safari was also fabulous, no question was to big or small. Thank you so much for such an amazing time.
