Mixed feelings
We booked through a platform and Hilmar then contacted us directly offering other tours which we would pay for on the day of the tours. He gave us prices for them but there were many hidden costs he hadn’t warned us about, which left us unprepared
Also, unlike all the other tour operators we had, he had not made contact with us up to the night before the tour despite multiple unanswered emails, what’s apps & attempted phone calls. This left us stressed and in limbo wondering whether the tours go ahead or should we book with another company. When he did eventually make contact, he said his phone hadn’t been working, which to us is unacceptable if one is trying to run a business. I presume he should have access to another phone and/or a computer/laptop from which he could check his emails and make contact with his clients. He did make a fleeting apology but I think a small attempt at compensation for stress due to lack of contact would have been a good PR move & greatly appreciated!!
The tours were very enjoyable….the helicopter ride was amazing as was the sunset river cruise & village tour.
Lunch at the lookout cafe was lovely but again, in contrast to other companies who provided a full 3 course lunch with tea/coffee, I felt that not including even a glass of water/cup of coffee, let alone starter or desert, with lunch was rather miserable & small minded.
The transfer vehicles, apart from Hilmar’s own car, and boat for the cruise also left a lot to be desired and could do with an upgrade, in comparison to other tours transport, considering the prices tourists pay and the tips we are expected to give!
Thank you Hilmar. Overall had a lovely day but don’t think that I would recommend or book with Dream Holiday Vacations should I return to Victoria Falls

Excellently organised, trustworthy
We were a group of 5 people from Belgium that wanted to get introduced to the Zimbabwe nature, culture and choose to travel with Dream Africa Vacations. Our trip was very well organised and the driver / guides were excellent. Sunset river cruise in Victoria falls is a nice introduction to Zimbabwe and our safari to Hwange and the Painted Dogs sanctuary was unforgettable. Zimbabwe is so real, and compared to Namibie certainly worth to discover with less tourists.
Many thanks for making our trip unforgettable.
If any time in the future we are coming in the area, we will contact you for our future travel.

When you search Trip Advisor for activities in Victoria Falls you get suggestions such as touring the falls, helicopter tour the falls, a safari and a dinner cruise. This package is excellent as it takes all the highlights and puts them together in one for you. Plus it includes all transfers including to and from the airport, as well as your accommodation. Book this and your entire stay is taken care of. In addition, our key contact Mobbly was excellent and very helpful. An excellent choice for Victoria Falls.

Victoria Falls Wonderful Tour
After a long flight, we finally landed in Cape Town. We immediately met up with Andrew and his cousin Astin, and got back to our hotel. Our main tour guide was Astin and I must say Astin is wonderful. He’s nknowledgeable in the plant life, the history and especially his jokes. We explored Cape Point, Table mountain and everything around it. After a few days in Cape Town we left, and looking back to the tour, Astin has taught me and my family a lot about Cape Town, the big and even small things. I really recommend them as your Cape Town tour guides. They had a very flexible itinerary and were very helpful. Thank You Andrew and Astin for guiding us through Cape Town.
Extremely helpfull, friendly, on point, trustworthy and professional
With all my communications with Portia she was kind, always-friendly, - always-patient, professional and absolute exceptional with her assistance.
We had a blast! What I appreciated the most was the fact that I really did not need to worry about anything. Everything was organized all perfectly. As things are these days one does not always know whom one can trust. It is true that I was weary, but after the first contact at the airport, all of it evaporated. Special thanks to Eddie for driving us safely to and from Botswana and the nice conversations we had. Our activities were offered at a good, value for money rate and were worth it. The helicopter flight over the falls were everything that I dreamed of and even more. The one day safari to Chobe was an exceptional experience from beginning to end. I hope that our plans of future travel will include places that you servive, because we will definitely use you again.

Outstanding personal service and great value for money
Dream Africa Vacations were exceptional in helping us plan our 9 day holiday in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe and Chobe National Park, Botswana.
Hilmar made sure all our arranged excursions and transfers were on time, ran smoothly and effectively communicated to us.
We were especially impressed with our personal guide of the falls, Moreblessing from Dream Africa, who was extremely patient as he showed us the falls on both the Zimbabwean and Zambian side (which is a must experience).
Hilmar personally took and fetched us to and from the Zimbabwe/Botswana border where the crossing went smoothly!
Dream Africa staff, our guides and our drivers were all very helpful, friendly and polite.
Working with Hilmar from DREAM AFRICA VACATIONS was a pleasure and great value for money!

Very very good value for money. Wonderful experience. Hilmar on top.
Very very good value for money. We stay at Shearwater village, then Victoria falls, Chobe NP in camping, Hwange NP at Miombi camp. Everything was very well organized, pickups on time, transfer to Botswana, accommodation very nice (not super luxurious) but even better than expected. Camping in the middle of Chobe great experience. Miomba suite was so cosy. Staff very nice. Hilmar was flexible on my requests and reactive. No hidden costs. I recommend strongly and i will rely again on them if I come back.

Really greaz
Everything went really well. They came to pick us up from the hotel with a private vehicle, they transferred us from Kasane in Botswana. The guided tour was very interesting and the helicopter ride was impressive. The restaurant was great.
