Responsive, friendly staff and super experienced local guides from pre to post sales
I started enquiring for Jan2026 7-day Tanzania Safari trip back in Aug2025 to a few tour operators. The pricing from Safari Soles was very reasonable for the level of service and was comparable with other quotes received. The sales staff Boniface was very friendly, responsive in addressing all concerns from itinerary customisation, payment till pick up arrangement.
Day1: Frank was the driver picking us up from the airport and toured us around the city before checking in Arusha Farmhouse. At the farmhouse, we had great time with Richard and few staff who toured us the coffee plantation and let us experienced the coffee processing, roasting, pounding and brewing in the African way!
Day2-7: Elias was our Safari Guide. He was super experience and passionate in finding the big cats and other animals in the bush, and sharing the knowledge about the culture, animals and the ecosystem. There was a day where few jeeps were searching for leopard but no avail. Elias traced up to a hyena who was devouring the food and found the leopard nearby! Instead of following, he predicted the animal’s next move and always got us the best spot for phototaking.
Day7: On the last day of our trip, we visited the Hadzabe and Datoga tribe, Alex joined in as our trip guide. He was amazing with vast knowledge on Hadzabe culture. He speaks the tribe language and knows the tribe people very well, even helped to spot the animals down. It was so much fun and great cultural experience!
Thank you Safari Soles for the unforgettable Safari experience!

An Unforgettable Safari — Innocent Is Simply the Best
We had the trip of a lifetime with Innocent from Safari Soles, and I genuinely cannot recommend him highly enough.
Over twelve incredible days across four national parks, Innocent went above and beyond in every possible way. His knowledge of wildlife, terrain, and animal behavior is extraordinary — and it showed every single day. Thanks to him, we were lucky enough to see the Big Five, at least eight servals, and more leopards than we could even keep count of — often spotted when other vehicles hadn’t seen a thing.
What truly sets Innocent apart, though, is not just his skill as a guide, but who he is as a person. He was endlessly patient, kind, and thoughtful, always making sure we were comfortable, safe, and getting the very best experience. He somehow managed to anticipate what we wanted before we even asked — whether that meant waiting quietly for the perfect sighting, positioning the vehicle for the best possible view, or adjusting the day to match our energy and interests.
The vehicle was always spotless, well stocked, and comfortable, and every day felt effortless because Innocent had everything under control. His passion for wildlife and conservation is infectious, and by the end of the trip, it felt less like we had a guide and more like we were traveling with a trusted friend.
If you are considering a safari with Safari Soles, ask for Innocent by name. He turned an already special trip into something truly unforgettable. We would go back in a heartbeat — and only with him.

Trip of a Lifetime
Our trip with Safari Soles was excellent and exceeded our wildest expectations.
The biggest highlight of the trip was our guide, Silas. He was a fantastic driver, game guide, and companion during our trip - we felt completely safe with him, he was timely and polite, and his knowledge was invaluable. The trip wouldn’t have been the same without him, and I will be recommending him to any friends considering a safari.
We also enjoyed our tent lodgings during safari immensely. Safari Haven’s staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The sundowner they provided was a beautiful way to spend the evening. Our balloon safari with Adventures Aloft was perfect. The pilot, Hego, and the rest of the crew were so fun to fly with and we enjoyed this experience even more than we expected.
I understand that Mbuni is a new lodging option, and our night here was fantastic. Our only regret was that we didn’t have more time here - the location was gorgeous, the lodgings were luxurious, the food was the best we had on the trip, and the staff were friendly and kind. Additionally, it was the best shower of the whole trip and our escort to the tent at night spotted a leopard in the trees!
Tortillis Camp in Ngorongoro was perhaps the most beautiful location we camped in, and we had a wonderful time sitting by the fire and chatting with other guests. The Masai dance they performed at dinner was incredible to watch.
Our time in Zanzibar was relaxing, though we were sad to leave mainland Tanzania and Silas behind.
The cost for this trip felt extremely reasonable, especially considering the level of planning done on their behalf and the transportation, food and beverages included. I believe we had a combination of luck and traveling at off-peak times, but this vacation felt extremely private and luxurious and we found ourselves receiving VIP treatment frequently without paying VIP costs.

They deserve more than 5 stars.
What an adventure from start to finish – everything was absolutely perfect.
We did a 4-day, 3-night safari, and every single day was unforgettable.
Waking up with an elephant right in front of the tent, seeing around 30 lions taking a nap, two cheetahs having lunch, lions that had just hunted a buffalo, and witnessing the migration with about 2,000 zebras and wildebeest… it’s something that is incredibly difficult to describe in words.
Our guide, Abdul, was the best, and the staff at the lodges were so friendly and kind.
If you have been thinking about going on safari, stop thinking and just book your trip – you will not regret it

Experience beyond all expectations!
Our 4 day safari with Safari Soul went well beyond all my expectations! So happy we chose to go with Safari Soul. Angel swiftly prepared a proposal for our day which included a pick up from our hotel in Zanzibar and a flight to Serengeti, via Arusha. We were then dropped off at Arusha airport on day four, flown back to Zanzibar and returned to our hotel.
We spent two days and nights in Serengeti, before driving to Negorgoro crater. We then finished our safari with a drive through Tarangire national park.
Our driver and tour guide, Abdullah, made sure we had the adventure of a lifetime by finding so many animals for us to see, many of them very close up. We saw all the big five (four of them on day one!) and countless other animals. We saw leopards, cheetahs, lions, hyenas, jackals, warthogs (Pumba!), elephants, buffalos, all kinds af antelopes, hippos, a tiny crocodile, ostriches and various other birds, and last but not least endless numbers of zebras and wildebeests on a big migration. Seeing two male lions feasting on a freshly caught buffalo, or mother and daughter cheetahs devoting their prey was something I’ll never forget!
Waking up to an elephant in front of our camp was the highlight.

Professional and punctual
We did a one day game tour of TARAGARINE park with DICKSON. He was wonderful, very knowledgeable, extremely punctual, and very accommodating. We had a wonderful time. The lunch he provided was wonderful and and he was able to accommodate our vegetarian lifestyle which we really appreciated even went out of his way and drove us to the airport, which was in one hour detour. Great service. I highly recommend the day trip.

A professional, empathetic, fun, and experienced guide
This year we wanted to enjoy a different kind of Christmas and, honestly, besides being different, it was an incredible experience. From the very beginning, the booking process was super easy; Hapiness made everything very simple for us, which we truly appreciated.
When we arrived at Seronera Airport, Junior, our guide for the 5-day safari, was already waiting for us. And that’s where it all began. Junior was a key part of the trip and made a huge difference: always attentive, friendly, and highly professional. He shared stories and anecdotes, took us to the best spots, and adapted at all times to our needs.
We wanted to try the region’s pink banana, and he took us to a local market to buy one. He gave us great advice on how to move around in a region so different from our own, introduced us to the Maasai culture, and even created an amazing photo and video report that we will treasure forever.
Without a doubt, we would repeat both the destination and the experience, but above all, we would repeat it with Junior as our guide. His dedication, knowledge, and human touch made the trip truly unforgettable.

Professional operation
In November of 2025 we booked a 12 day safari with Safari Soles. Our party consisted of 4 senior travellers. Our friends had done most of the research leading up to the safari and had received strong a recommendation for Safari Soles Tours through an acquaintance who had just used their services.
The planning stage stretched over several months while we reviewed the different camps and Parks we would visit over the 12 days. Communication was excellent throughout the preparation of the trip from start to finish. Our contact was Happiness George and he was always available via email to answer promptly all of our questions as well as making some insightful suggestions.
After arriving in Arusha we were flown to Seronera Airstrip (in central Serengeti) and were met by Christian our guide/driver. He was courteous and affable and turned out to be extremely knowledgeable. He knew exactly where to take us to see the big 5. Also, one of our travelling companions had mobility issues and Christian always went out of his way to assist in anyway possible. He also was very accommodating letting us set our own schedule.
The jeep was fairly new and in good condition. All necessities were provide including water, snacks plus beer and wine! A pair of binoculars were also provided if you didn’t bring your own (definitely mandatory). Road conditions within the park were pretty bumpy to say the least (referred to as an African massage), but Christian was a very experienced driver and transported us safely from camp to camp. In the planning stages we were given a choice of a variety of camps based on our budget and though we did not go with all the recommendations made by Soles the camps we did choose were all well above adequate.
All in all the 4 of us were extremely impressed with the professionalism of Safari Soles Tours. It was obvious Christian and the staff made an effort to ensure the safari met and exceeded our expectations. We would not hesitate to recommend their services if you want a once in a lifetime experience.

Responsive and easy to work with.
Came for the animals. Left emotionally changed. Waking up before sunrise was worth it (shockingly). Lions, elephants, endless skies, and guides who somehow knew everything. It felt raw, grounding, and quietly luxurious at the same time. 10/10 would disappear into the savannah again. Couldn’t have asked for a better guide! Christian was equal parts expert, storyteller, and miracle worker with binoculars.
