Dynamic, relaxed, funny, friendly and experienced
We did a 5-day safari with Safari Soles and it was honestly one of the best things we’ve ever done. We visited Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro, and every day felt like an adventure. The places were amazing, but what really made the difference were the people.
There are many safari companies in Tanzania, and in all of them you’ll see the animals and the parks. But what really matters is how they take care of you and how they make you feel. When something goes wrong, that’s when you see who truly cares. Safari Soles were always kind, honest and ready to help. They really made us feel safe and welcome from the start.
A huge thank you to Boniface, who helped us plan everything. He was always available and answered every message so quickly and kindly. It really felt like he cared about us.
And also to Chris, our amazing guide. What a joy to travel with him. He knows so much about every animal and every part of the parks, and he shared it all with such passion. He was always smiling, always making sure we were happy and having fun. We learned so much from him.
We also thank Eric, who picked us up in Arusha and showed us around the local markets. Everyone we met was so warm and genuine.
We couldn’t recommend Safari Soles more. They really go above and beyond, and we’ll never forget this experience.

The perfect experience
We had the best experience. Dickson was a great guide who was very knowledgeable about all national parks, their inhabitants and the sourindings. He even spoke German which made communication very easy for us. We saw everything we hoped for and more. Also the accomodations which Safari Soles provided were perfect, close to nature and with very friendly staff. Long story short it was a 10/10 trip for us and we would always do it the same way. Thank you very much Safari Soles and especially Dickson for this great experience that we will never forget

Professional Company, Great guide!
Our safari in Tanzania with Safari Soles was nothing short of magical, and we owe so much of that to our incredible guide, Oscar.
The entire process with Safari Soles was exceptionally smooth. From our initial inquiries to crafting the final itinerary, their team was attentive and made planning a breeze. All the logistics were handled flawlessly; our pickups were always on time, and every transfer was perfectly coordinated, allowing us to completely immerse ourselves in the adventure without any worries.
The true heart of our journey through the Serengeti was Oscar. His depth of knowledge is astounding. He possesses an intimate understanding of the ecosystem and was constantly sharing fascinating details about the wildlife we encountered. It was his genuine enthusiasm and open willingness to educate us that truly elevated the experience. Oscar has a remarkable talent for spotting animals from afar and an even greater talent for making you feel connected to the wild heart of Tanzania. Amazing Safari Experience
Safari soles provided an excellent experience for my wife and I. We booked a 4 day private safari and had the most amazing time. The entire process was handled perfectly. They responded to my inquiry with a quote almost immediately and then were very fast when I had small requests to tweak the itinerary and accommodations. They recommended a night safari and it was absolutely worth it to get to see lions hunting and various nocturnal animals. We stayed in spectacular locations, are very well, and were fully in control of each day’s itinerary.
The best part of safari soles was our guide, though. You spend long days with your guide, so it is imperative to have one that you can converse with well and acts in an appropriate manner. Our guide Thomas, was an outstanding person. He got us to see every animal we were hoping to, was a wonderful conversationalist, drove with caution (which is a rarity among safari guides), stopped to pick up litter from a particularly beautiful area, shared our lunch leftovers with some hungry Maasai kids, stopped to help other Safari guides having issues with their jeeps, and could identify animal immediately. Thomas really made the trip unforgettable for us.
Safari soles made everything very easy for us. I highly recommend booking with them and intend to come back in the future as I didn’t want our experience to end.

Highly recommend
The best safari guide ever! Chediel took really good care of us during our whole trip. He is really professional, he teach us the knowledge about animals, geography, history, culture and so on. For the lunch, he settled all the things and found good place to have perfect views. We can feel his passion for the animals and he is really kind to everyone. Chediel is the best!

Unforgettable Safari
Our trip was wonderful. Everything was organised down to the last detail. We saw amazing places and 4 out of 5 big 5 as well as dozens of other fantastic animals such as hyenas, jackals, wildebeests, hyppo, zebras and many more!!! The lodges were always comfortable and cosy (in some cases we would say luxurious), the staff friendly and helpful. The food has always been very good and satisfying, both at lunches in the parks (with fabulous views) and in the lodges at dinner and breakfast. And finally, how can we not highlight the skills of Mohamed who was an exceptional guide, always punctual and well organised, invaluable in sharing his profound knowledge of nature with us!

Experts in Creating Unforgettable Adventures
Our private safari with Safari Soles was truly unforgettable. Everything was well organized — from the safari itinerary to domestic flights and hotel transfers. The team was always available and did their best to help with any questions or issues that came up along the way.
Our guide, Banana, was absolutely exceptional. He was friendly, knowledgeable and with a very good English. His deep knowledge of the wildlife, his sharp eye for spotting animals (even from a distance!) made every game drive exciting and memorable. He was patient, professional, and truly passionate about nature and conservation.
Thanks to him, we had the rare opportunity to see all Big Five, including a black rhino, which was a dream come true. We also spotted a leopard lounging in a tree and watched a cheetah and her baby— moments we’ll never forget.
The game drives in Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater were incredibly well-paced and tailored to our interests. We were never rushed and had plenty of time to soak in the beauty of each location. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, and the wildlife sightings were beyond what we had hoped for.
The accommodations arranged by Safari Soles were excellent — clean, comfortable, and in beautiful locations. The food was delicious, and the staff everywhere were welcoming and kind.
This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, made possible by the expert planning of Safari Soles and the outstanding guidance of Banana. We wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a high-quality, personalized safari experience in Tanzania.

Great 6 day safari
We had an amazing 6-day Safari with Safari Soles and Ernest as our guide. Happiness George helped coordinate the trip and was super responsive, happy to customize the trip for us, and even helped with last minute changes over a holiday weekend after we had a flight issue.
Ernest was the best guide and really made the trip amazing!! He is very knowledgeable (taught us about Tanzanian and Maasai culture, words in Swahili, and about many animals and birds), and had eagle eyes for animal spotting - we saw the big 5, ugly 5, cute 5 and more! Ernest was well-connected with other guides and we appreciated his communication with other vehicles to make sure we saw all the highlights (including multiple leopards and rhinos)! We were impressed by Ernest’s professionalism and his genuine and warm demeanor- we felt like we left with a new friend.
Finally the hot lunches, drinks, outlets in the jeep, and binoculars were nice touches. Thank you Safari Soles, Ernest, and Happiness for a great trip!! We highly recommend Safari Soles and Ernest for anyone looking for a special trip.

Safari Soles is the best tour operator + Innocent is the best guide!
My friend and I chose Safari Soles as our tour operator based on online reviews - and we are so glad that we did. From the moment we arrived everything was lovely. Our transfer driver, Eric, was so friendly, even though we had a 3am pickup. Our first lodge, Arusha Farm House, welcomed us warmly even though it was 4am.
Our safari guide, Innocent, was amazing beyond words. He ensured that our safari experience was everything we could’ve ever dreamed of and more. He knew so much about the animals and helped us spot the most amazing things on safari, including three cheetahs eating a gazelle (and about 5 more cheetahs on other days…) three leopards, 25 lions, and even woke up at 5am on our last morning to ensure we saw a rhino in the crater (we saw two!). Beyond the safari experience itself, Innocent took it up on himself to ensure we were always comfortable and taken care of at our lodges. When he dropped us off on the last day we truly felt that we were leaving a friend behind! We can’t say enough good things about this guide and would 100% recommend that anyone booking with Safari Soles request him for your trip.
We also had a great experience with Renata, who helped us plan our safari from start to finish. Her responses are so prompt and she’s always happy to help! Safari Soles has a good relationship with many amazing lodges and camps. We were especially smitten with Farm of Dreams Lodge and Safari Haven. We also stayed at Ang’ata Ngorongoro Camp on my birthday and the staff filled with restaurant with song & dance to celebrate and brought out a cake! Everyone we experienced on our trip was amazing and we’re so grateful that we chose Safari Soles!

The trip of a lifetime. We’re so glad we booked with Safari Soles!
We found Safari Soles through SafariBookings after getting some eye-watering quotes from UK travel agents, and honestly – we were a bit nervous at first. But from the very beginning, Douglas (our amazing trip planner) put us completely at ease. His communication was spot-on - quick, detailed, and so patient, even after 9 or 10 itinerary changes! He was always happy to answer any question (big, small, or a bit silly!), and he even shared all the relevant documentation to show the company was legitimate, which really helped calm our nerves before booking.
Paying the deposit was super easy through a secure online system, and from that point on, everything was seamless.
Once we arrived in Tanzania, we were lucky enough to be guided by Abdul, who was absolutely fantastic. Friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and so dedicated - if he didn’t know the answer to something, he made sure to find out and come back to us the next day. We really appreciated his honesty and attention to detail. He also handled any issues on the ground straight away - when we were placed in a shared lodge that was a bit too noisy, he sorted it with the camp and made sure we had a private lodge for the next stay. Problem solved, no fuss.
We were lucky enough to see the Big 5 (plus so much more!), and the entire trip genuinely exceeded every expectation. From the authentic safari lodges to the smooth organisation and incredible wildlife, it was an experience we’ll never forget.
