Don't believe all the positive comments in the agency's page. It won't show negative comments!
I participated in a 6-day safari tour in June, being the first group to join the tour. I reached an agreement with Emanuel, the owner of the company. However, upon my arrival, Emanuel informed me that all plans from Day 2 to Day 6 had been altered to accommodate the group tour. Since we were the first to join, the agency should have coordinated the second party to fit into our original schedule, not the other way around. Emanuel claimed that it made no difference, but how could that be true?
The first issue was that we had to depart at 6 a.m. on the second day, following over 13 hours of travel the previous day. According to Emanuel, our original departure time was scheduled for 9:30 a.m., based on the initial itinerary. The second issue was that we had to make a return trip to Ngorongoro and visit the area twice, which was unnecessary according to our original plans.
Emanuel's claim that we were not the first party to join the tour is untruthful. If we had not been the first, it would be even more dishonest to accept our original itinerary, knowing full well that it was not feasible.
Emanuel is solely a businessman with no regard for customer satisfaction; his focus is only on money. He shows no respect for the agreement we made. I have traveled to more than 20 countries, and regardless of whether it's a group tour or a private tour, my schedule has never been changed at the last minute without my consent. I do not recommend this agency for group tours unless you are prepared for your itinerary to be altered at any time without notice. And, of course, he will tell you that it makes no difference!

Amazing 4-day safari tour organized by Emanuel!
We had a fantastic 4-day mid-range safari tour organized by Crater Explorer. Everything was great, our driver and guide made our trip truly memorable. The lodges were chosen very well. It is a plus that we were picked up and dropped off at the airport. Thank you, Emanuel! Highly recommend your tour.

Professionell and very helpful
Clearly not a High-End-Safari, it provides an excellent service. You get full value of your money back. My experienced driver did a good job to show everything, what was possible in Octobre, which is not the best month to visit the Serengeti.

I think this is the best tour company to book a safari tour with. I met amazing animals and made friends on this tour. Although the places you visit may be the same no matter which tour you book, if you choose this tour company, you will have a trouble-free, comfortable and great time at a reasonable price. Emanuel is kind, responsible and professional, and takes care of all the details, from airport transfers to arranging hotels in Arusha before and after the tour. I will definitely choose this tour company if I come here again.

Excellent trip!
Very well arranged by Emmanuel, as per our needs from start to finish (as we were a couple and booked private).
Selected accommodations had breathtaking views and great food.
Our guide Frank was excellent in his knowledge of the areas and of the wild. (he is Masaai). We got to see the big 5 and we were lucky to get close encounters with the cheetahs. All thanks to Frank.
Additionally I caught a fever during the trip, and Frank made sure that I was okay. He arranged and took us to the hospital for medical treatment.
Look no further, book Crater Explorer Tours and ask for Frank as your guide. You will love it!!

Amazing company, making sure that you are comfortable and satisfied every step of the way!
We did a 3 day, 2 night safari (Serengeti/Ngorongoro Crater) with Crater Explorer, Tours, and Safaris and LOVED it! Emanuel was super helpful in communicating with us before hand, answering any questions and concerns we had. He met us at the hotel the evening we arrived, and was there the morning of our safari, introducing us to our guide and our cook. Pascal was an awesome guide, full of information on the animals, trees, plants, and more. He made sure we were comfortable and got the best out of our time. Our cook, Emanuel (another Emanuel) was incredible! We had so much delicious food and he spent so much time making sure we were well fed and taken care of. We saw lots of animals, and the trip was an affordable price! All in all, it was a great experience! I would highly recommend this company!

Tanzania and its nature was great but we had some bad experience with tour guys
First of all, I loved Tanzania and everything I saw and I experienced during my trip. You can book any tours via here (I mean this website not th tour company) its really perfect. I had 4 days tour but I think 2 or 3 days would be really enough. Don’t waste your money and days for extra 1-2 day.
Our first day, our car broken and they gave us back up car. It was full of dust, we couldn’t even breathe. Also, with new car we had a new driver for that day. He driven car so fast (our speed was 3 times more then the others). Even our warning he just drive fast and it wasn’t safe. After the arriving camp site we waited more then 3 hours to eat and get into our tent. Every other groups ate their dinner and went to their tent and we just waited outside with nothing (no food, no tent, not even chair we just waited ). Anyway we asked where is our tents and where is our driver to every responsible person over there and they told us oh he will come in 30 mins every time. And after 3-4 hours they gave us tent which I should have my own tent but I shared with stranger. At midnight they told us they never talked with driver -they said they talked with him and he will come in 30 min severel times- and they told us to go to sleep. Also we didn’t have morning plan because we didn’t have driver. In the afternoon our driver came but we had same problems everyday. Our car broken 3 times, no body try to explain anything, we always went to campsite latest and started to tour every morning latest. It was really bad experience in that way.
PS: You can buy cheapest tour for same program because people in my group we all bought same tour from different operators. For the same tour we paid different amounts (there was a 250 dollars difference me and a guy). So with the over 4 stars operator you can choose cheaper one

Amazing experience couldn't have asked for a better safari!!!
We contacted several Safaris via WhatsApp and Emanuel was very straightforward and honest. His management, communication and understanding was unparalleled. He understands travelers needs. He set us up with an amazing driver who's experience level helped us experience the best safari I'd ever had the proviledge to be on. The chef that came with us was AMAZING! After a long day on the road there was nothing like a well prepped meal waiting for you and each meal did not disappoint.
It was an amazing experience, saw a ton of animals including the big 5 and the elusive leopard and cheetahs!
Emanuel also helped us get our Covid test for the flights home! He really went above and beyond for us!
I recommend this company to any traveler!!!

He always made us feel at home. And he gave me a smile. If you have a problem while traveling, he will solve it all, so don't worry. He taught me the spirit of Hakuna matata! It will be a perfect choice.
