Honest, reliable, safe tour operator for a trip of a lifetime
I decided to do a last-minute 6-day Etosha and Namib Desert Safari and couldn't have picked a better tour operator. From the start communications with Albin to organize the Private tour quickly was excellent. Ricky was my driver and took me all over Namibia to show me the highlights, from Etosha National Park, Damarland, a Himba tribe, the Skeleton Coast, Swakopmund, and the Namib Desert with Sossusvlei as the final highlight. It was a great trip with lot of driving and Ricky did an amazing job navigating the dirt roads for hundreds and hundreds of miles without any issues. Ricky also provided insights into Namibian culture, flora, and fauna and I learned so many things. All the mid-budget accommodations were great and comfortable. We weren't able to do one of the activities during the trip so I reached out to People Tours and Safari after the trip and they promptly refunded me for the missed activities and a couple of lunches we didn't consume. This shows the integrity and honesty of the tour operator and I appreciate that. I highly recommend People Tours and Safari since it's a small Namibian owned operator. I wouldn't hesitate to go back on another adventure with them in the future. Thanks for the great trip!

Perfect from beginning to end
This was an excellent tour. Leonard was a great guide and he was knowledgable, helpful, punctual and funny. He was also easygoing and accomodating. Some of the trip is long car rides, but they are fine as he was a great driver. I would book this tour again in a heartbeat!

Helpful, responsive and professional
I did a solo 15 day tour with my guide Sakaria. It was absolutely wonderful. Every day was special and I had the chance to see a lot of this beautiful country. Sakaria was very informative, professional and nice company as well. He organised everything beautifully and was an excellent driver as well as phenomenal at spotting animals. It was a great itinerary but if I did it again I would try to include Fish River.
I loved every minute.

Professional service and flexible with regards to dates
I booked a three-day-trip from Windhoek to Etosha in April. As I had only those three days following a business trip, I was not flexible with regards to dates and I noticed that some other providers only offer certain tours starting on certain days of the week.
People Tours and Safari offered me the dates I wanted and as I was the only customer, it turned out to be private tour just for myself.
Leonard was my guide and he was a very professional, experienced and friendly driver and guide. I felt safe driving with him and he went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable and happy. Once in the park, he connected online with other guides to find out about animal sightings and to make sure we spot as many species as possible. That way, we managed to see some lions early in the morning and we also spotted some elephants the same day. As my visit took place after the region had experienced some rainfall, it was not as straight forward to see elephants compared to the dry season and I was very pleased we managed to see some. We were also lucky enough to spot a rhino which was another highlight of the day. Driving in a closed off-road vehicle was more comfortable than the open vehicles used by the lodges and gave us the flexibility to spend all day in the park without having to stick to a tight schedule.
During the journey between Windhoek and Etosha, Leonard chose some nice places to eat lunch and I also had the opportunity to grab some last-minute necessities from a supermarket.
Altogether, I really enjoyed those three days with Leonard and I can highly recommend to book a tour with them.

Very professional team creating a personal experience.
Very easy and fast communication with the tour operator, pick up perfectly in time. Communication through out the trip was also very good, the guide (Luke) made all requests available regarding photo stops and so on. Value for money is very good. The guide and tour operator seems very reliable, also regarding possible obstacles e.g. coming from the bumpy roads of Namibia. I would definitely recommend booking with this tour operator !!!

Leonard was the best tour guide anyone can have. He was the reason our tour and trip was so awesome and we will remember this trip for the rest of our lives. Leonard was extremely professional, on time and most importantly great company. We considered Leonard our friend and we loved having him with us. Leonard also made sure each activity was made to perfection and managed to get us near the animals which included eight lions.
Emilia who arranged our trip was also amazing and extremely professional. The communication was very important and Emilia was perfect. Our tour was even customised to our preferences. Emilia ensured that everything went smoothly.

Amazing and varied tour around Namibia, perfectly arranged itinerary by People Tours and Safari
The tour was faultless from start to finish thanks to Aina’s efforts with the itinerary and Leonard’s reliable driving and guiding. We loved all the lodges including the guided tours and food.
Thanks to Leonard, we experienced Dune 45 at sunset which was magic. Froggy did a marvellous job driving us up and down the dunes at Sandwich harbour. We had such a great time and could not stop laughing.
While the gravel roads were in bad shape sometimes, Leonard got us safely and on time everywhere we went. His idea to drive through Etosha National park was great as it meant we got the opportunity to see more animals. This was not in the itinerary so his initiative was highly appreciated.
We were stunned to get an upgrade at the last lodge which was solely thanks to People Tours and Safari.
We could not recommend the tour operator enough and would not hesitate to use them again. In addition, it is nice to support a local company.

Reliable, informed, professional, visible and caring tour company
People Tours and Safari are a reliable, informed, professional, visible and caring tour company. They provided me with a 5 day tour in Namibia covering desert and coast. The experience far exceeded my expectations and when compared to another tour company I used for my Botswana trip they were in a different ball park. In terms of booking I wanted to mention Emilia who was highly responsive, proactive and friendly over WhatsApp. Her manner and approach gave me great confidence when wiring not insignificant amounts of money prior to my trip. She checked on me during the tour and helped with accommodation choices when the as originally planned accommodation was no longer available. All the accommodation choices were excellent quality and good value. My guide and driver was Leonard who is an absolute natural communicator and clearly makes the effort and has the capability to individualise the tour. Any hiccups - and they were minor- were professionally problem solved with pace. I really enjoyed my time with Leonard and I really appreciated his guidance and confidence in me to get me to the top of Big Daddy dune. If you travel with Leonard you will learn so much about Namibia and receive an experience way beyond the tour description.
