Great planning and excellent implementation
The planning of our safari went excellently; every special request was implemented immediately.
On the safari, we were exceptionally lucky to see the Big Five in just three days. We saw magnificent landscapes and countless animals. The transportation to and from the Madaraka Express was also well organized. If we ever find ourselves in Kenya again, we will definitely choose Kiboko Tours again; they are our number one choice!

Great tour company with best guide ever Johnson
Did the 4 day.3 night safari with Johnson staying in Amboseli and Tsavo West and Tsavo East... Accomodations and food were very nice... Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge in West Tsavo was my favorite on the trip with great food and the best hotel waterhole I ever stayed at in Africa with so much wildlife. Voi Safari Lodge in East Tsavo was also very nice with a very nice waterhole too... Sentrim Amboseli Lodge was my my least favorite as it was a lower standard than the other lodges and much colder at night with a thin tent only.... Had a White Toyota van not a Landcruiser, but it was very comfortable and nice and would say for this tour totally unnecessary to pay more for a Landcruiser... Johnson was the best guide ever and could find animals from very far away and was super nice and friendly with perfect english so definitely ask for him if possible....

Safari Extrodinare
Our safari through Kiboko Tours & Travel with our guide Sammy exceeded our expectations. We delighted in seeing so many wild African animals and the huge variety of birds we were able see and identify. Sammy was very patient with our group and understood that we were just as interested in seeing the birds as we were the large mammals. He was knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of the National Parks we were in and willing to take the time to help us identify birds that he had not seen or identified before. Sammy was always respectful of others but always got us into a great position to photograph the animals even when other guides were rude with their vehicle placement.
The Sopa Lodges where we stayed were very clean, well kept and had friendly, competent staff. The buffets had plentiful good food and enough variety to satisfy our group of 6.
We started with a visit to the Sheldrick Elephant Rescue and a 1/2 day safari to Nairobi National Park the day before our official safari began. This was a distinct highlight. We had no idea there was such variety of wildlife so close to this major city. Also, it helped us understand how to prepare and what to expect on our upcoming safari.
Each National Park we journeyed to, and we went to 6 in all, gave us a look at a new species. We got to view everything from the smallest birds to thousands of wildebeest and antelope, to the great cats and the enormous African Elephants. We were truly stunned by the abundance and variety of wildlife. Samburu National Park won the hearts of our group. Not just its amazing desert remoteness and the huge variety of wildlife; but, we so enjoyed the staff and locals that were particularly welcoming and attentive.
Our itinerary was great. There wasn’t much down time with the distances we had to travel but it worked well and left enough time for successful safari drives in the parks. We had full days that started early each day but were so rewarding and we had time for a quick afternoon nap most days. Not to say there wasn’t some sleeping in the car!
Excellent job putting together such a wonderful experience for our group. Thank you Kiboko so very much. Be assured we will recommend you to our friends.

The safari of a lifetime
Our safari was nothing short of perfection. From the very first contact, Kiboko tours and travel handled everything with professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail. Thanks, Jane! No question remained unanswered.
What also truly elevated the trip was our guide and driver, Chris. He was incredibly knowledgeable, deeply committed, and endlessly passionate about animals and always went the extra mile — positioning the vehicle for the best view, spotting animals we never would have spotted and explained the behavior of the animals in a way that made every sighting unforgettable. Thanks to Chris, we were able to see majestic elephants up close, lions resting in the grasslands, and even cheetahs gracefully moving across the plains.
Together, Kiboko Tours and our guide, Chris, created an unforgettable journey: breathtaking landscapes, close encounters with wildlife, and a sense of connection to nature that we treasure and will stay in our hearts and souls forever.
I couldn’t recommend Kiboko Tours more highly — if you’re looking for a safari that is perfectly organized yet filled with heart and wonder, this is the one. It was the safari of a lifetime.

A fantastic personal experience
What an amazing experience! We used Kiboko for a 3 night trip to the Masai Mara. The booking process with Jane was very smooth and she was always available to answer any questions that I had and the response times were very quick and everything was well communicated. Our tour guide Samuel was truly amazing, he was so friendly and so knowledgable about all of the animals as well as having a great eye to be able to spot so many, including a very sneaky leopard! Our accommodation at Sopa lodge was fantastic as well, all the rooms very clean with great food and lovely communal areas. Kiboko always had a great personal touch, leaving the Masai Mara we had seen 4 out of the big 5 (only the rhino missing) and our guide Samuel said that Nairobi national park was a good place to spot rhinos. We asked if he would be able to guide us round there and within a few days we had a second trip lined up with Kiboko. I can’t recommend Kiboko enough for a once in a lifetime safari experience like we had with them.

Great Experience
It is a great journey with Sam and Gibson. For the booking and inquiries, they are very responsive. After we secured the booking, they also feedback with hotel reservations very quickly. During the safari, we learned so much from our guide and he is so patient and knowledgeable. We 4 people spent really wonderful time with Sam. It is an amazing trip and Africa is magical. I definitely will recommend them and hope revisit next time with them.

Wonderful trip and great provider
Amazing tour from Gibson and team( we did 4 nights in the Masai Mara ) very professionally organised and run, good communication and Chris our guide and driver was a stand out and his skills and knowledge really ensured we had an amazing experience. Highly recommend.

Highly Recommend Kiboko Tours !
I have been on many safaris however this was my first solo which I did in order to maximize photo opportunities. Gibson was amazing and very communicative in helping to plan the trip, and guides Chris and Emmanuel were patient and resourceful in listening to my needs and finding animals.

Amazing trip
We chose a mid-range safari,we coordinated the route with Gibson,Charles met us in Nairobi,the next day he drove us around Nairobi, we visited the Giraffe Center in Nairobi,the next day we went on a wonderful safari with Chris.a very good driver,he told us about the animals,about the National Parks of Kenya,he always knew where to find animals,the 8 days trip was amazing,if i had to choose a company again, I would definitely choose Kiboko Tours and Travel,with respect Daina
