Abouh is incredibly experienced, reliable, knowledgeable and provides a one of a kind experience.
A safari is a once in a lifetime opportunity/experience where you want to ensure that you choose not only a reliable company but a tour guide who is going to maximize the experience. Sandpiper Safari/Abouh exceeded all of my expectations.
Throughout my safari experience, I had no doubt that I was in good hands. Abouh was incredibly reliable and communicated all expectations and set up each day of our three-day safari really well. He made sure we saw each of the animals on our bucket list and acted very quickly when a black rhino was spotted miles away, ensuring that our experience was complete. It’s clear from the moment you meet Abouh that he knows what he’s doing; he knows the roads, the park, the people and the surrounding communities, the vehicle, the campsites, and the animals.
I will without a doubt recommend Abouh/Sandpiper Safari to anyone I know who will be traveling to Tanzania for a safari in the Serengeti and you should too, after all who wouldn’t want to go on a safari with one of Tanzania’s nationally ranked top 3 tour guides?

Abouh was extremely thoughtful and went out of his way to ensure we saw all the animals we desired
From start to finish I did not have to worry about a thing. Sandpiper Safaris arranged everything from the moment we left the airport back to our outgoing flight. Our tour guide Abouh took great care to give us a truly unforgettable safari experience. I never thought I would be just over a handspan away from a fully grown male lion in my life. It really felt like a dream and a memory I will have with me for the rest of my life. He was a great driver that would go off road when required and able to get as close to the animals as possible. I'm not sure if everyone has the same experience with other companies, but based on what I saw Abouh and Sandpiper safaris really went above and beyond the typical. Our accomodations in the luxury tent camps were much nicer than what I expected for being in the middle of the wilderness, with hot water to shower at night and a comfortable furnished room. I can't recommend them enough, if you're on the fence about going on a safari have no more hesitations and use this company to book, I don't think you will regret it.

Great and enjoyable Safari Guide
It was a wonderful, kind and enjoyable Adventure. Great hospitality, Safe Journey and best Safari experience. The driver was Great and the Tour was Amazing. We saw all the Big 5 and enjoyed delicious Food and super accomandations.

Awesome experience
We had a great trip with our guide Abouh. He has a lot of experience and nolage about the wildlife and could tell us everything about the animals with some fun extra stories he experienced. The trip was well organized and the food from our chef very good.

Fast, wild and cheerful
We went on a safari with Abouh in December 2023, when we was working with another tour operator, therefore the review is solely based on Abouh as a tourguide and won't mention logistics.
There is no way to fault Abouh in his work, he is committed, eagle eyed and just fun to be around! Also knows a good number of langauges and keeps everyone entertained!

What an incredible experience! Me and my friend were on December 2021 the first time in Tanzania and we spent 3days for the Safari and it was really great! Amazing Tanzania safari
Our safari with Sandpiper safaris exceeded expectations. From the very beginning, communication was excellent every question was answered promptly, and the entire trip was organized seamlessly. We always felt well-informed and taken care of.
The safari was incredible. Our guide Abouh was knowledgeable, friendly, and had an amazing ability to spot wildlife while sharing information about the animals, landscapes, and local culture. We were fortunate to see an incredible variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and many other animals.
The accommodations were comfortable, the meals were excellent, and the itinerary was perfectly balanced between adventure and relaxation. We always felt safe, comfortable, and well cared for.
What truly stood out was everyone’s professionalism and dedication to ensuring we had the best possible experience. The service provided was exceptional, and the safari offered outstanding value.
