AMAZING EXPERIENCE
Amazing trip!!! I had Andrew and it was such a great time. The gorillas were THE COOLEST EVER. Andrew was a great safe driver and let me Connect and play allll my favorite music! Plus I added on the golden monkeys and the tour group made it so easy!!

Friendly, comfortable and flexible
Had a great trip with Andrew to see the golden monkeys in Rwanda and gorillas in Uganda. The trip was well organised and Andrew was an excellent guide, he was flexible and friendly and had lots of knowledge about both countries. Communication leading up to the tour was good as well. Highly recommend.

Brian the best in the biz!
Our tour was a 4 day gorilla and golden monkey trekking tour with Brian as our guide. The trip was perfectly planned out with fantastic accommodation and meal options. Brian was extremely knowledgeable and made sure we were looked after throughout the whole trip.

Amazing 4 day guided tour, once in a lifetime experience
I did a 4 day tour in Rwanda and Uganda. Highlights were the Golden Monkey trekking and Gorilla trekking. These are experiences I will never forget. Our tour guide Brian was excellent. His knowledge on the animals was great and was very polite throughout the 4 days. Highly recommend this tour.

Great Apes provided us with the experience of a lifetime. Our driver/guide Brian was a great companion for our 10 day safari. He was very knowledgeable about the animals we saw and the places we visited. He was a careful and safe driver and we felt very comfortable driving with him.
The itinerary included all the best that Uganda has to offer but even so we only scratched the surface of what Uganda has to offer. We will certainly visit Uganda again and we won’t hesitate to use Great Apes again. In particular we will ask for Brian to guide us.

Truly incredible experience seeing primates in Uganda!
Our 4 day excursion with Big apes was nothing short of incredible. Seeing chimps and gorillas was truly a once in a lifetime experience. Peter met with us the night before we left to welcome us and our safari guide/driver, Ezra, was very informative and receptive to our wants during the tour. All of the lodges we stayed at were clean with great food offerings, which were included. Would not hesitate to recommend using Big Apes Africa!

Wonderful tour guide, well organised and good value for money
My daughter and I booked the 10 day Best of Uganda tour. Our tour guide Tim was fantastic. His passion and knowledge of animals and birds was inspiring and we felt like we were travelling with a friend rather than a tour guide. Highlights included the game drives, Murchison Falls, chimps, river cruises to see hippos, birds and elephants and the walk with the Rhinos. The most incredible experience was undoubtedly the gorilla trek. We hired a porter to help us on the trek and it was the best decision we made as she helped us navigate the often difficult terrain. We were so close to our gorilla family, it was truly amazing. The accommodations were mostly very good with friendly and helpful staff. Another highlight was to see local life as we drove through the villages, and a visit to a local primary school at Ishasha. Tim, we can’t thank you enough for a wonderful trip.
