Brian the best in the biz!
Our tour was a 4 day gorilla and golden monkey trekking tour with Brian as our guide. The trip was perfectly planned out with fantastic accommodation and meal options. Brian was extremely knowledgeable and made sure we were looked after throughout the whole trip.

Friendly, comfortable and flexible
Had a great trip with Andrew to see the golden monkeys in Rwanda and gorillas in Uganda. The trip was well organised and Andrew was an excellent guide, he was flexible and friendly and had lots of knowledge about both countries. Communication leading up to the tour was good as well. Highly recommend.

Amazing trip!!! I had Andrew and it was such a great time. The gorillas were THE COOLEST EVER. Andrew was a great safe driver and let me Connect and play allll my favorite music! Plus I added on the golden monkeys and the tour group made it so easy!!

Trustworthy and Excellent Accommodations
My wife and I recently completed a 4 day / 3 night safari tour of the golden monkeys at Volcanoes National Park, the gorillas at Bwindi National Park and Lake Bunyonyi in Uganda . Our guide, Ambrose, was reliable and excellent , helping us make sense of the culture and activities we participated in. We also took on some activities that we had time for that wasn’t pre-arranged that was time and money well spent including the cultural activities outside of volcanoes park (highly recommend). Book with confidence and be sure to tip the rangers , animal trackers, hotel staff and of course your guide .

Efficient and well organised
Very enjoyable and stress free experience. The gorillas were fantastic and the hostels we stayed in were excellent.
Very friendly and professional
We had a fantastic 10 days here in Uganda with big apes. Our first part of our journey was with a guide named Tim and he was very welcoming and friendly with a great passion and knowledge for the animals putting in a great effort to show us as much as possible.
The other half we had a guide named Gerald who has was very knowledgeable with animals as well as good at teaching us the history and culture and the different local languages so we could say some friendly greetings to some of the locals as well as adjusting the schedule when one activity took longer than expected to keep things flowing and fun.
I would highly recommend big apes as it is very organized and professional you would be very lucky to have guides like Tim and Gerald i would highly recommend both for your next safari!

Best Tour Guide and Gorilla Experience in Africa!
Since we arrived, everything was smooth thanks to Ariyo Timothy.
He was driving us and explaining us everything about our experience and answering all the questions we had.
Apart from that, he was always kind and nice with everyone, even when things (still Africa) happened.
The Gorillas were just perfect and beyond our expectations.

10-Day Best of Uganda Wildlife with Gorillas trip
I recently returned from a truly unforgettable 10-day safari gorilla trip in Uganda, and I cannot speak highly enough of the entire experience. From start to finish, everything was incredibly well-organized, seamless, and enriching.
A huge part of what made this journey so special was my driver and guide, Tim. His positivity, passion for Uganda’s wildlife and culture, and unwavering professionalism set the tone for the entire trip. Tim’s deep knowledge of the region and keen eye for spotting wildlife turned every drive and walk into a learning experience. He went above and beyond to ensure every moment was meaningful, safe, and full of wonder.
The standard of the lodges I stayed in was exceptional — each one was comfortable, beautifully situated, and offered top-notch service. I was treated like royalty throughout, with every member of staff going out of their way to make me feel welcomed and cared for.
The tour itself was very well-planned and full of adventure — busy, yes, but incredibly rewarding. I was able to see a vast array of wildlife, including, of course, the majestic mountain gorillas — an experience that will stay with me forever. The itinerary also allowed for breathtaking landscapes, vibrant cultural experiences, and close encounters with many other species in their natural habitats.
All in all, this was a once-in-a-lifetime journey made even more special by the warmth of the people, the incredible biodiversity of Uganda, and the exceptional service throughout. If you’re considering a safari in Uganda, don’t hesitate — and if you get Tim as your guide, you’re in for something truly extraordinary!
