Exceptional once in a lifetime experience
We probably will only have one chance to visit South Africa in our lifetime. We are glad we had The Kruger Safari Company and Wayne along the way. From the time we landed to the time we left, every detail was accounted for. The lodges we stayed at were much more than we expected. The staff, the accommodations, and the guides were exceptional. If we are ever lucky enough to return, The Kruger Safari Company is the first call we will make. The value was much more than we expected and our experience had such an impact that we count this trip as our best. If we had any questions, Wayne was always quick to respond. Don't be disappointed with another company and use this company to arrange your trip. You won't regret it.

Very responsive and attentive
We had a great time on the Safari, Wayne was very helpful in arranging everything and helping when we had questions. The safari itself was well run and a special shoutout to the team at the Kruger Adventure Lodge who were excellent during our stay. The food there also was brilliant. The transfers at the airport were a little confusing but once you are on your way you will have a great time!

Wayne took care of every last detail providing us with a superior experience in every way
We had the most incredible experience with Wayne and The Kruger Safari Co. from start to finish. Wayne was very responsive, answering any questions and arranged flawless logistics—from the moment we arrived to the day we left. There were people arranged to meet us and take care of us every step of the way taking the worry out of being in a different country. Our safaris and lodging were superb from Greenfire lodge to Kapama Karula Lodge which was over the top amazing. Our guides in both places were fantastic and very knowledgeable, packing our drives with amazing sightings. The lodges, staff and food were all wonderful.
Highly recommend Wayne and The Kruger Safari Co, we couldn’t have asked for a better adventure!

Excellent Tour- 10/10
Our Kruger Safari was an amazing experience and The Kruger Safari Co delivered on everything as detailed on their website. The booking process was simple and easy. Our driver Sunny was excellent, knowledgable and made us feel safe on our long drive from Johannesburg. When we arrived at our lodge the whole three day Safari was exceptionally organised and the lodge staff were amazing. We were also extremely lucky to spot all of the big5! The tour we chose was in the mid-range category and although we initially thought it was expensive, we feel we received very good value for money for the whole tour. Thank you Kruger Safari Co!

Great company for safari.
This was our first time coming to South Africa and we wanted to do a short trip to Kruger National Park. I started looking for budget safaris and got several companies that o requested quotes from. The Kruger safari company was the first to respond and they did so quickly. I communicated with Wayne for several months working out a few kinks that I had made and he was very helpful in answering all my questions. The transfer to Hazeyview was uneventful and long but the ride was fine. The adventure lodge was nice for a budget safari. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were great and we enjoyed them. The safari itself was really fun and we enjoyed the sunset safari and the all day safari. The third day we did the panoramic route and that was very beautiful. All in all I would recommend the Kruger safari company and I will be se them again if I ever come back to South Africa

The Kruger Safari Co arranged an amazing experience for us, and was extremely responsive from A to Z
Wayne from Kruger Safari Co was amazingly quick and thorough to respond, even with the time difference while we were still in Canada, we never waited longer than a day. Often just a minutes or hours. They offered a zoom call as well to explain things to us, which was so reassuring because there are tons of options and it's hard to know what's what. He answered all of our questions and concerns and arranged an amazing stay! We chose the classic camping safari. For camping, it's quite a luxury experience. We even had our beds made while we were out on safari. The campsites in Kruger have everything that you need. Breakfast and dinner were provided each day and were ample. The person responsible for our meals and stay went to the trouble of getting fish and seafood for our dinners since my colleague doesn't eat meat. I thought that was really exceptional. The safari guide was incredible. So knowledgeable and in tune with the bush! He spotted rhino waking in the distance... I want to say kilometres away! They were like little specs and he noticed them while driving! He really didn't miss a thing. We saw tons of amazing animals up close. On our last morning drive, our guide was focused on finding us lions since it was the one thing we hadn't managed to see. He found one in our last half hour before we had to head to our shuttle. It was amazing. He was so dedicated and you could really feel how much he cared. He was also very respectful of the animals' space, and attuned to what they were communicating with their ears and tails, etc... backing off if an elephant seemed agitated or nervous for example. I learned so much and had a wonderful and unforgettable time.

The Kruger Safari Co.is attentive, welcoming and professional!
We visited Kruger National Park in February 2024 and the itinerary was booked on the official website of The Kruger Safari Co. The company offered us a very wide range of options, which was something we were very happy with. We chose a 3 day Safari based on our financial budget and time schedule. during this trip we saw almost all the big 5 game except the leopard. But we were happy because it was something we couldn't experience in China and very African. The sad thing is that one of our mates accidentally lost his mobile phone during this trip. But to our surprise, the company's staff found our lost mobile phone in the almost wild environment of the national park, which really led us to marvel! Because we were prepared to never get our phones back. I can't help but admire the service and professionalism of the company's team! One thing that stood out to me during the trip was that our guide, during one of the afternoon safaris, I remember it was almost dark, but he found a tiny chameleon in the bushes. When we could not spot it despite his prompting, he stopped the car and very accurately and quickly found it and showed it to us. What marvellous eyesight that is! Kudos to him for his expertise. Overall, we were very happy with the trip and it is something that I would highly recommend and promote to my close friends. I hope more and more Chinese tourists can have the chance to visit Kruger National Park once and experience the African wildlife adventure.
There are two small suggestions, I hope the camp WIFI signal coverage is wider, at the same time, there is the possibility of Chinese-speaking tour guides, although I know Chinese is very difficult to learn, thank you!

Excellent!
My wife and I, along with another couple, booked thru Wayne Barnes and The Kruger Safari Co. From the very start, throughout the trip, and even when we returned Wayne was constantly communicating with us about our travel and experience. My friend and I both work for Delta Air Lines and were looking for a once in a lifetime Safari and experience and the Greenfire Lodge and staff did not disappoint.
Wayne worked with us on several package options from the start and we finally settled on a 5 day / 4 night Greenfire Lodge experience. We arrived in Joburg two days early and Wayne arranged for our private transfer to and from Kruger for the four of us. Our pickup was at 6 am on Sunday, and Victor our driver arranged with Wayne was right on time and a great way to start our journey. We arrived as planned at the park entrance on Sunday afternoon and we met by another man named Victor who turned out to be our guide for all of our game drives. Our guide Victor was amazing! I'm sure all of them are great, but he was truly amazing and we felt we had known him for years and were sad to leave after a fantastic week with him showing us the game reserve.
Victor drove us to the main lodge, and the drive was as scenic as pictured online. We were there in February and the days were hot but not terrible and always a slight breeze. As we arrived at the lodge, we were met by Carol and the rest of the Greenfire staff. I can't say enough about how gracious and warm all of the staff were. Victor and the team carefully handled all of our bags (we now know not to pack as much as it's very casual and comfortable)! We had a nice welcome drink and were explained the detials of our week ahead. Lunch was to be served shortly after and we were escorted to our cabin. To our delight, the cabins were being outfitted with air conditioners as we were there and luckily both of our cabins had working AC units. This was a great surprise as we were not planning on AC units, only the fans in the rooms. The cabins are very nice. Better than the pictures show and all overlook the dried up riverbed where we saw numerous animals (Buffalo, elephants, monkeys, etc) right from our patio. After briefly unpacking, we went to the main lodge for lunch. Let me say that every meal, every one of them, was fantastic. We weren't expecting such a great meal for every meal and the service was second to none. It almost felt like we were at a Four Seasons resort for the week. That evening we went on our first game drive and saw many animals, including lions and elephants.
Everyday was the same, great meals, great game drives and great service. I could go on and on about how wonderful our experience was and i would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great safari to go with the Krugar Safari Co.
