The best guides in Tanzania
We had a wonderful time for our safari with Lukiano and Dorit. Prior to our safari we where traveling on our own in Tansania with various guides in various contexts and I can confidently say that the experience with the Lion Guides was by far the best one. Communication was great and very thoughtful with daily briefings, space for questions and tiny changes for personal preferences. Lukiano is a very knowledgeable guide and told us everything we wanted to know about the nature and culture that he showed to us. The atmosphere was always very friendly and we really enjoyed spending our time with the team.

Beautiful and unforgettable!
An unforgettable 3-day safari with Dorit and Lukiano is behind us. Wonderful care, hospitality, and accommodation. I almost believe that no animal on the way escapes their notice, even the smallest ones are spotted. Impressive is their knowledge about these animals, no question remained unanswered. Today, a week later, I am still completely filled with the impressions, the animals, the experiences in the park. I will recommend the two of them as tour guides to everyone!!! Lion Guides, The best Safari Team. The 4 days Safari was a family dream that cane true. The experience was amazing , we were inside the heart of Serengueti and Ngorongoro. Making part of that amazing environment. Thanks to Lion guides we always felt safe and driven to the best spots were perfect wildlife scenarios were just there making memories in all our senses.
After the Safari the accomodation was just the perfect spot to be , with luxurious Tents and Fantastic Buffet just right there in the middle of Serengueti.
We Loved it and for Sure , Lion guides, the best team Ever.

Even the act of me writing this review and you reading it was already written.
For some, that may be a strange thought, as it gives the illusion that they have no control over their lives.
For others, however, it is the certainty that – no matter what may come – everything has its own purpose.
It was our purpose to cross paths with the greatest man of Tanzania – the one and only, the sensei of wildlife: Lukiano!
My girlfriend and I have met many people on our travels. Some were hospitable, kind, and helpful – and some we would have rather never met at all.
But none of them were like Lukiano!
With his calm yet energetic presence, he managed to make us feel safe in every situation.
And I truly mean EVERY situation!
Whether it was a lion majestically walking just inches past our open car window, or an elephant scratching it’s itchy back against our vehicle – one concerned glance towards Lukiano, one smile from him, and all our worries were gone till eternity.
Lukiano’s smile was, in fact, his constant companion – and never, truly never, was it fake or even slightly forced.
It was simply… REAL.
What a gift it is in today’s world to still experience such REALNESS – from such an impressive human being!
This realness was only outshined by his knowledge of the wildlife.
To cut it short: If the topic is wildlife, even ChatGPT would ask Lukiano.
It’s unbelievable how much this man knows!
But knowing is one thing – teaching that knowledge patiently and understandable is another.
Lukiano combines both like no one else!
He is simply a remarkable man – one of a kind, the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be.
Every great man throughout history of mankind needed a soulmate – someone to help unlock their full potential.
Lukiano’s soulmate is Dorit.
She gave us a constant sense of security and care. She looked after us when we were mentally and physically exhausted, kept us motivated time and time again, and made us laugh – and reflect – with her wonderful stories and life wisdom.
You could feel how pure her interest was, and how solution-focused she was in addressing our concerns.
And just like with Lukiano – always with a powerful, undeniable REALNESS.
On top of all that, she impressed with flawless organization and absolute professionalism in every aspect.
Together, the two of them are the true embodiment of:

Two loving people who, in all likelihood, have found each other till infinity.

A great safari from beginning to end
We did a fly in and out safari from Zanzibar and from the early days researching to the day we said goodbye to Lukiano in Arusha, everything went perfectly. Dorit was such a pleasure to speak to. She was quick to respond to any questions and put my mind at ease going on safari with a toddler. We have been on safaris before but this was our first time going for one with the little one and I was definitely nervous. However, Dorit put our minds at ease from the moment I sent my enquiry. She managed to pull some strings to make sure we didn't get a long layover in Arusha which allowed us to see even more on day 1 of our safari. On arrival at the airstrip we met Lukiano with his impressively clean car with everything we needed for the day. He made the whole experience enjoyable from day 1 where we were treated to a beautiful migration crossing. After that it was all highlights. We saw the big and baby cats, elephants, hippos, all the animals you wish to see when you go on safari. The whole journey was truly all we could ask for and our little one loved every bit of it. We can't recommend Lion Guides enough. They were attentive to our needs and made sure we were happy every step of the way. You should definitely book the tour for yourself and experience the magic of mother Africa.

Amazing 4-day safari experience with Lukiano (Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara)
We met our guide, Lukiano, right after landing in the Seronera Airstrip and within approx. 20 minutes we were just three friends staring at a leopard with big smiles on our faces - leopard resting in a tree and then climbing down and calmly walking around the car. And it continued like this until the end of our 4-day tour - like visiting an old friend in a far-away country, him sharing with us all these astonishing landscapes and animal sightings (including some unforgettable close encounters with lions and elephants) which he visibly loves so much and also sharing facts of the history of Maasai people and interesting stories of everyday life too. We couldn't have hoped for a better guide, so knowledgeable and passionate about nature, positive and helpful and full of common sense, constantly involving us in decision-making and attending to our needs. Incredible eye for spotting wildlife and expert driving too. Asante sana Lukiano and see you again!
