The company could benefit from updating their equipment. Shop around.
Communication was quick but it was troubling that the lodges advertised, one of the reason this company was chosen, were suddenly unavailable once the deposit was made. Even after a change to those accommodations there was a further change. The first and last accommodations were phenomenal but the second was below the standard of any place I stayed in Tanzania despite being called a luxury lodge. I am not sure if the driver was skilled or just very lucky. The speed at which we travelled on dirt roads in my opinion far exceeded the capabilities of the vehicle and placed my safety at risk. It was difficult to appreciate the stunning animals and the incredible scenery while veering across the road avoiding oncoming vehicles who were in their own lane.

We sincerely apologize for the changes in lodges. During the high season in August, accommodations fill up rapidly, and lodges only confirm reservations once payment is received. Unfortunately, credit/debit card transactions can take up to 3 days to process, which may have led to the unavailability of the originally selected lodges. Despite our best efforts to secure top-tier accommodations, we regret that one of the lodges did not meet your expectations.
Your safety is our utmost priority. Following your feedback, we have taken immediate action and have terminated our employment contract with the driver. All our drivers are strictly instructed to adhere to park speed limits, and we will ensure that this is rigorously enforced going forward.
Thank you once again for bringing these matters to our attention. We are committed to improving our services and hope to provide a better experience in the future.

Superb experience !
We booked a 7-day trip for our family of 4 with Explorian Safaris to explore the Serengeti National Park and Ngorogoro Conversation Area. From the start we were impressed with the quality of the booking inquiry, trip preparation by Fahima, ease of communication over many months, and stays in comfortable lodges. Equally brilliant was meeting Atif and having him as our guide. Almost anyone can drive a jeep but his knowledge and friendly-to-all nature made our trip so memorable; we were all a bit tearing up when we had to say farewell to him on the last day. Memories of seeing 50 lions, 3 leopards, 2 cheetahs, 2 rhino, 40 elephants, numerous giraffe, antelope, wildebeest, cory bustards, crowned crane, serval cats, warthogs, zebras, snakes, one very muddy boghole and lots of laughing will last us a lifetime. We highly recommend this company if you want a superb safari experience.

We had the privilege of doing a two day / one night safari with Explorian Safaris visiting the Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro Crater.
This was a once in a lifetime experience and we cannot thank Atif and our guide Ayubu enough for organising and taking us on this amazing two day safari!
We arranged the safari very last minute however Atif very kindly and quickly (outside normal working hours!) provided us with a detailed itinerary of the two day safari they offered. Our guide, Ayubu, picked us up from our hotel at the agreed time, which was early morning to enable us to have as much time as possible on the first day of the safari at the Tarangire National Park. Our guide Ayubu was really knowledgable and we learnt so much about the animals we saw! The one night stay at the Flamingo Lodge Hotel was brilliant, the food and hotel room was lovely, and the staff were really welcoming! The hotel staff even really kindly prepared breakfast for us extra early so we could again make the most of our second day! The second day at the Ngorongoro Crater was a once in a lifetime experience, if you go on safari in Tanzania the scenery here is spectacular!
We’d like to give a special shout out to Ayubu. Ayubu was absolutely brilliant, his knowledge of the safaris he has taken us on is outstanding! During each of the days he really took the time to give us very detailed and interesting information about the animals, the different areas etc. He was a genuinely nice person and a pleasure to have spent the two days with him. Ayubu went above and beyond to ensure the safari was an amazing experience and we can’t thank him enough!

Fantastic safari with our guided Ayubu
We had the best two day Safari with our guide Ayubu. We went to the Nngorongoro crater and Tarangire National Park - both were fantastic locations. Our guide was really knowledgeable and told us lots of information about all the animals we spotted. He listened to use carefully and made sure we saw all the animals we wanted to. I would definitley recommend booking with this company.
A well organised experience with a keen guide
My guide Joshua was excellent - a very safe driver, always on time, and willing to share as many animals facts as I wanted. He was highly dedicated to finding all the animals I wanted to see with incredible patience and persistence. I had an excellent time and would gladly do it again.
Accommodation choices were also very good with the food, staff, and services in each location fantastic.

Amazing!
Our safari experience with Exploring Safaris was truly unforgettable! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized and exceeded our expectations. We were lucky enough to see all the animals—and an unbelievable number of lions, which was absolutely thrilling!
A special mention to Atif uncle, who was incredibly warm, patient, and accommodating throughout the trip. Traveling with a four-year-old can be challenging, but he went above and beyond to keep our little one engaged and entertained, making the journey enjoyable for the whole family.
The Ngorongoro trip was honestly one of the most amazing experiences we’ve ever had. The views, the wildlife, and the overall experience were just magical. Atif uncle made sure we didn’t miss a thing and took extra effort to help us spot every possible animal.
Highly recommend Exploring Safaris to anyone looking for a well-planned, memorable, and family-friendly safari adventure!
