Our 7-Day Family Adventure in Tanzania: A Heartfelt Thank You to Kale Voyage and Emmanuel
Our week-long family trip to Tanzania was an incredible success, all thanks to Kale Voyage and our amazing guide, Emmanuel.
We kicked off the adventure with a memorable day trip in Arusha led by Eric, which was the perfect introduction to the beauty of Tanzania.
From there, every aspect of our journey exceeded our expectations.
The accommodations were fantastic, offering warm hospitality that made us feel right at home.
Our kids—our 3-year-old daughter and 2-year-old son—were thrilled to be there and had so much fun with Emmanuel.
During the safari, we were fortunate enough to spot the Big Five, and the experience of being immersed in nature was beyond words.
Emmanuel’s deep knowledge enriched our journey, teaching us more about Tanzania’s wildlife and environment than we could have ever learned online.
It felt like a hands-on lesson in the natural world, with Emmanuel always ready to answer our questions thoughtfully and thoroughly.
One particularly challenging moment was during our stay in the Serengeti National Park when our son fell ill with a fever and persistent cough.
Emmanuel was quick to act, consulting the lodge director and arranging for medical assistance.
Thanks to his efforts, we were able to see a doctor and get the medication our son needed, ensuring his recovery and our peace of mind.
This trip was so much more than I could have imagined.
It opened our eyes to the wonders of Tanzania’s wildlife and culture.
I am already eager to return and delve deeper into the country’s incredible nature and rich traditions.

Very friendly, safe, knowledgeable, and personal tour operator which made us all feel so welcome.
What a wonderful safari experience we have had thanks to Oscar and Charles our driver. Both were so friendly and considerate, thinking of how to maximise our time on safari in Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Communication with Oscar was excellent from the beginning. Unlike the very large companies, we got a feeling of genuine personalised customer care. The service was top and proved to be great value for money. The tour itself was amazing. You could tell Charles was an experienced guide, driving carefully, being considerate towards animals and wildlife. He also had an incredible ability to spot animals that we sometimes missed.
Both our camp sites were excellent. Food was good, accommodation comfortable, and staff very friendly.
The safari jeep was perfect. It was spacious, clean, had charging points, and a refrigerator. Oscar offered us complementary drinks during the trip.
We enjoyed our experience so much that we are thinking of returning in the next 3-4 years and we will almost certainly go with Kale Voyage again.

We just got back from a 5-day safari with Kale Voyage and honestly, it was perfect. If you’re planning a trip, look no further!
First off, Oscar spent so much time chatting with us, sorting out every little detail of our itinerary and picking out the best hotels. Then there’s our guide, Festo. The man is a wizard behind the wheel and has eyes like a hawk! He’d spot animals from miles away before we even saw a shadow. We saw so much wildlife thanks to him.
These guys really know how to take care of you. If you want a team that actually listens to what you want and makes it happen, go with Kale Voyage. Five days of amazing memories that we’ll never forget!

Excellent communicater! Oscar replies very quickly and listens!
Oscar personalized our trip to our needs. We did a 6 day safari that included 4 national parks. From the very first day we saw incredible animals, birds etc. Our guide was Festo, he is a college grad who specializes in tourism and knowing everything about what you are seeing, including the Latin names! He was so considerate , he made sure we had plenty of water, packed lunches etc.
After the safari, we spent 3 days in Zanzibar. I wish would have stayed for 4-5 days. It’s so beautiful and relaxing hearing the waves lapping on the shore!
The price point was right for our budget . We wanted to do the sunrise balloon ride over the Serengeti and it was Oscar for the win! It was amazing! It’s a must do!
I also really loved our accommodations on this trip. We stayed in beautiful boutique hotels and even a luxury tent camp. You can hear the animals at night! Amazing!
I can’t say enough about Kale Voyages and Oscar and his team! The best vacation I have ever had! Thank you Oscar!

Top-notch experience with the best guys!
It’s very difficult to find proper words to describe the experience. It’s better go and see by yourself. This experience could be impossible without Kale Voyage Expedition. They could arrange our trip very fast(in 3 days we landed in Serengeti after the first email). The service is top-notch. Our driver Malisa is so cool and professional. I already miss his jokes. We saw all animals from big five! I’m sure that it’s because of Malisa. He’s very experienced and know all special spots! This experience is worth all the money in the world. Thanks guys for doing high quality job! This experience will stay with me for entire life! Malisa, you’re the best!

A helpful responsive tour operator that is available and helping any time you need.
From the first quote I requested, I felt like I am in good hands with personal an quick communication.
In the end, I booked with Kale because I loved the itinerary including Lake Manyara. Even as they did not have a full group, they found a group for me I could join and Kale had made sure that it meets good standards. All that was in their hand went smoothly and they made sure my itinerary was met with the other tour as well.
Whenever I had a question about the trip, I got a quick and helpful response.

A Safari to end all others…
Kale director Oscar was so helpful, responsive and accommodating in helping plan our Safari to Tanzania. He was the reason we decided to go with Kale and we made an excellent decision. We had a driver, Erick, on our first day at Mataruni waterfalls annd Chemka hotsprings and he was fantastic; it was a long day and he was a trooper. Our next driver for the remainder of the 6-day Safari, Sufiani, was kind, genuine and informative the whole trip. We were so happy to have him as our guide and we soon became friends! Kale really pulled out all the stops: beautiful picnics, amazing tours, always asking if we needed anything, and if there was an issue with the campsite or hotel, they always took care of us. We can’t thank them enough and highly recommend!!

Unforgettable Tanzania Safari with Oscar & Emmanuel!
Our safari experience with Oscar’s company was absolutely incredible from start to finish! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfectly organized, making our trip stress-free and truly enjoyable.
Our driver and guide, Emmanuel, was not only extremely knowledgeable but also passionate about ensuring we saw the Big Five every day. He was more than just a guide—he became a great friend over the week, making our journey even more special.
We started in Tarangire National Park, where we saw massive elephant herds and stunning landscapes. From there, we headed to Serengeti National Park, where we spent two nights in a beautifully arranged tented camp right in the heart of the wilderness. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with delicious hot meals provided daily. Falling asleep to the sounds of nature was an experience we’ll never forget!
On the final day of our safari, we visited the Ngorongoro Crater, an absolute highlight of the trip! The sheer beauty of the crater and the abundance of wildlife made for an unforgettable experience. Throughout the journey, the safari trucks were clean, well-maintained, and always stocked with snacks and drinks, making the long drives smooth and enjoyable.
After the safari, our package included a few nights in Zanzibar, where we were seamlessly transferred via flight and greeted by a driver who took us to our lovely beachfront hotel. The stay in Zanzibar was a perfect way to unwind, with stunning sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters, snorkeling, and even a chance to swim with dolphins!
Overall, this was a flawless, well-organized, and truly once-in-a-lifetime adventure. The hotels were top-notch, the food was excellent, and the entire experience was beyond our expectations. I highly recommend Oscar’s company for anyone looking for a professionally arranged safari with great hospitality and an amazing guide like Emmanuel!

Best moments of my life
This best safari of my life was well arranged by kale voyage staff Oscar who was always on spot on answering the questions and at the end was perfect 7 day safari. Our guide Sufian is very knowledgeable and always knows where to take us to see animal we saw many animals in ndutu and ngorongoro crater. We are planning again to come to see wilder beast crossing in mara river we will use kale voyage. Best tour operator
