We are so glad that we chose Zanzi Trekking and Safari Tour as our travel company for our 10 days and 8 nights tour in Kenya and Tanzania. The company exceeded our expectations in every way. From the first day to the eighth day, the manager, Honest, and our guides ensured that our journey was smooth, safe, and enjoyable. Honest also helped us coordinate the airport pickup driver to make our travel experience more seamless. The guides in Kenya and Tanzania were excellent and they made sure we had a memorable game drive experience and always found the best locations for us to take close-up photos of the wildlife. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well prepared, and the meals provided were also very good. We were also provided with plenty of cold water to ensure that we stayed hydrated throughout the day's tour. At the end of the tour, Honest even made a point to visit us and even visited the hotel to make sure everything went well. We were surprised to learn that we were his first Malaysian customers! We had a great experience with Zanzi Trekking and Safaris tour. Overall journey was smooth and the accomodations are well provided. Mr Honest, the local tour operator always ensured our safety despite we are quite worry initially. During game drive our tour guide also always ensured we had the best spot to capture the animals in a close up view. He is a good animal tracker!
They too provided us a great ride to Arusha supermarket. Love it so much! I would say that Zanzi Trekking and Safari tour gave us an amazing experience and definitely will revisit again;)

Zanzi Trekking and Safaris was amazing! Justin and David were great guides and were very helpful and kind all throughout our climbs of both Mt. Meru and Kilimanjaro. They were very motivating and felt more like friends because of how personable they were from eating with us to talking with us as we were hiking. The rest of the team was also wonderful. Calvin, Dominick, Lazaro, Preygod, Tumaini, Elisha, Matayo, and the chef were always on time and we could not have done it without them. I highly recommend this company!

Best service, felt like family!
Had the most amazing time on Kilimanjaro with Zanzi. It was just me and a team of 4 porters, 1 guide and 1 chef. They did such a great job making me feel good every day. The food was amazing, I even felt like I was glamping in stead of camping. The team is wonderful and so is the mountain. My guide Charles could tell me all about nature, animals and of course Kilimanjaro. Learned a lot and had the best time climbing the highest peak in Africa. Thank you Zanzi!

Amazing tour company giving me memories for life
Big thank you the whole company, Zanzi Trekking and Safari for making truly one of my best experiences in life. In between the most beatuiful landscape and scenery, the tour guide and the rest of the crew made me feel like home, taking very good care of me and the chef served several great meals each day, served by a funny and polite gentleman who served the role as a facilitator.
Priced lower than most other offers I got, it’ did not compromise on either quality, knowledge or safety.
My tour guide George made it possible for me to conquer the roof of Africa and we shared many wonderful hours together, ending up with a great friendship.

Fantastic experience!
We just completed the 6-day Machame Route trek to Uhuru Peak and we're so happy. The experience was exceptional, and the two guides, truly expert and knowledgeable, helped us reach the summit of Kilimanjaro. The entire crew was amazing! The cook always prepared excellent meals, and the boys and porters did a fantastic job! The experience with Zanzi Trekkings&Safaris is highly recommended! Enjoy!!

We really enjoyed the safari, which included visiting Gorongoro and the Serengeti. We searched online for the cheapest option and found Zanzi Tours. On the tour, we shared a 4x4 with five other people from different agencies, and they paid much more than us for the same services. Highly recommended!

My brother and I had the great opportunity of joining the Zanzi Trekking team on the 6-day Lemosha hike up Mt. Kilimanjaro. We were thoroughly impressed by professionalism and knowledge right from the beginning!
The lead guide Isack met us the day before the hike to ensure we had all of the necessary gear for a successful trek. We went through an equipment checklist, and anything that was missing we were able to rent. It was great to have open conversations with Isack, and we didn't feel pressured into renting anything that wasn't absolutely necessary for the trip.
During the hike, Isack and Nixon (assistant guide) were extremely personable and we had a lot of fun conversations! They also performed a great assessement of our hiking ability and adjusted the pace accordingly. The 6 day hike was perfect, as the days were not too long or too short (there would have been some half days if we did the 8 day given our pace).
The crew we hiked with was phenomenal and tents were set up on our arrival to the camps. The food was well prepared and timely (cuddos to the Chef)!
The guides monitored our well being each morning and evening to ensure we were acclimating appropriately. The summit day was certainly challenging and cold compared to the first 5 days, yet we made it to the peak just in time for the sunrise! What a spectacular view- we were far above the clouds and there were unique ice formations ans glaciers nearby-it was like nothing like I've ever seen before!! Well worth the hike and very rewarding.
Our last few days Isack showed us around Arusha and took us to Materuni Waterfall. Highly recommend the waterfall as the environment is far different than what we had seen during the hike or our earlier safari (more of a jungle). Lastly, we truly enjoyed the City tour. This was surprisingly one of the coolest days of our ~3 week trip!! It was so cool being able to explore the local shops, markets, and stores without seeing tourists around. We spent time with Isack during the day and Nixon im the evening and got a first hand experience of what day-to-day life looked like in the City. It was very interesting to see the cultural differences from Michigan where we are from.
Overall, we could not have asked for a better tour!! Without the experience and knowledge of the guides, we wouldn't have made it to the peak. Also the enthusiasm and kindness of the entire team was greatly appreciated. Highly highly recommend Zanzi Trekking if you plan on hiking Mt. Kilimanjaro
