Our tour guide, Mr Swahibu did really well. He made sure we were well set up at our hotels before leaving everyday. He even made sure, on the safari, that we saw animals that we individually wanted to see. Even going deep in the jungle if that’s what it took.

Great experiences in beautiful surroundings
Really enjoyed our 5-day private tour with Goldfinch Adventures. We had a tour through Tarangine, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Mataruni. During our safari, our tour guide Joshua guided us to see and learn about all the big five in addition to other animals and wildlife in the Savanna. We had some great lodges for our overnight stays with great meals both for dinner and breakfasts. The lunches consisted of pre-made lunchboxes which also were quite good. Our last day we spent exploring the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro which was exciting - also got to try the arabica coffee with the locals.

Excellent
Amazing 8-day private safari with Goldfinch Adventures, with excelent guide, Swahibu Othoman, who showed us so many animals and special sightings. Accommodation were fantastic, so were all arrangements done by Brenda. Tanzania stole our hearts - will definately return.

Goldfinch Adventures make dreams a reality
My partner and I opted for Goldfinch Adventures to organise and plan our 13 day combined Safari and Beach vacation in October 2025. It appears we chose wisely as we both agree it was the best vacation we have ever had (and we have been to many places!). Kelvin listened to our requirements and put together a very professional full itinerary for our private tour. Together we tweaked a couple of bits here and there before settling on the final product. Everything was taken care of, from transfers, to accommodation bookings, park fees, food & refreshments and knowledgeable guides, and for any queries he was available via WhatsApp. We swear we had the best driver/guide in Tanzania. Samwel made this trip for us with his kind heart, keen eyesight, sense of humour and expert driving skill. By the end of the week he had become a friend, after seeing the big 5 and so much more in Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorogoro. We visited Kilimanjaro and literally made our own coffee from beans to roasting to crushing and boiling. We swam in the hot spring of Chemka. Our second week was more relaxing and less complex on the white sands of Zanzibar but this too was organised by Kelvin including the domestic flight. Do not be alarmed by the "30% up front and pay the rest in cash once you get there". This appears to be typical practice for the local operators. We cannot fault any part of this trip and can thoroughly recommend Goldfinch Adventures to plan your experience of Tanzania & Zanzibar.
He is the best
First I enjoyed alot with Goldfinch since the have good communication skills so far I can recommend the driver FRANK he had the best cooperation and the funniest stories and good company where he had good language to us in whatever thing we asked for assistance he helped of all really enjoyed his company.Also I liked the lunch box with variety of eating items😅😊

Going the exstra mile and making an huge effort to make it a memorable trip !
We had the privilege to have a very experienced guide, Lodewyk who made the trip extra special. The hotels and lodges was exceptional and the staff super friendly. The food was great and we could not imagine better ! All and all I would recommend Goldfinch to any person concerning to visit Tanzania , they will certainly make it a once in a lifetime experience!!!

Absolutely Brilliant Service and Safari
We picked Goldfinch adventures from a list of safari operators who gave us quotes for our first safari. Deo from the beginning was patient and accommodating to our requests. Nothing was too much trouble and he was absolutely patient till we could finalise our plans and make the bookings.
Once we were in Tanzania he was at hand to help and coordinate with all the travel related elements as we went from Zanzibar to Serengeti. Deo had arranged all internal transport and flights making this element for us fairly stress free.
In Serengeti on landing at Seronera airstrip we were picked up by our Driver/guide Mr. Ludovick who was nothing short of excellent for all 5 days of our trip and made the safari a thorughly enjoyable experience.
I would highly recommend Deo and Team. A great 5 star service.

Very beautiful experience
We were in 4 and were picked up in Zanzibar to fly to Arusha for a 3 days safari including Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara national parks. Everything was very fine thanks to a very good organization. Many thanks to Robert, who remotely supported us, and Frankie, our guide during the safari. Highly recommended

Wonderful time with Goldfinch
We went into safari planning without any idea of how to select the right tour operator, and were fortunate to book our trip with Goldfinch Adventures. From the start, Deo was the most responsive out of the few tour companies we contacted. His personable and communicative style was very assuring especially since we were located halfway across the world. This was also a special trip for us and we were really spoiled by the choice of accomodations. They were all highly rated and made our safari experience so comfortable and luxurious.
Kudos to our driver and guide, Frank. Our short 5D/4N itinerary across three major parks meant long distances, occasionally on rough roads, and Frank kept us safe. He's a very skilled and careful driver, and knew the parks routes by heart. We saw so much wildlife including the Big 5, and enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you Goldfinch for a holiday we will never forget!

A truly once in a lifetime experience! Goldfinch Adventures - you are awesome!
I reached out to Robert Deo of Goldfinch Adventures earlier this year about arranging a 2 day 1 night safari in the middle of our trip to Zanzibar. We were a family of four, including myself, fiancé and her parent’s.
Roberts communication during the quotation phase was absolutely fantastic. He was open to tailoring the trip and accommodation style to suit our budget. Ahead of arriving in Tanzania, we received all information promptly, a thorough and detailed itinerary, internal flight tickets and drivers to pick us up and drop us off at the beginning and end of the safari.
The process could not have been smoother! Robert met us at the airport on arrival to give us a further overview of the itinerary which was really insightful.
Our guide, Frank, was awesome! Frank was very attentive throughout our two day safari. He ensured we were well looked after. He is extremely knowledgable and his vision was immense! Took us a while to spot the wildlife, but Frank was quick to point out lions stalking wildebeest and Rhinos in the distance. Both parks were incredible - but of the two Ngorongoro was the highlight! The pictures don’t do it justice.
We covered a lot of distance in two days - Tarangire and Ngorongoro. The jeep was very spacious and well stocked with cold drinks. Frank was an excellent driver and the time passed very quickly as we drove between the parks and lodge. We felt incredibly safe with Frank as our guide and couldn’t have asked for a better guide. The trip was extremely well executed - luxurious and provided us with a very intimate safari experience.
The accommodation, Manyaras secret was out of this world - if you have the opportunity- book it! The staff were extremely kind and well versed in ensuring their guests were well taken care of - particularly escorting you to and from the restaurant after dark (we could hear the hippos on the lake). Fantastic villas for families, a lovely pool and restaurant with a fire pit. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the stars with a nice glass of wine.
At the end of the trip we arrived at Arusha airport, Robert met us to say goodbye - and knowing how much we love coffee provided us with two bags of Kilimanjaro coffee beans - a great touch!
Thank you Robert and Frank for a truly once in a lifetime trip - we will be recommending Goldfinch to all of our friends coming to Tanzania in the future!
