Excellent and caring dealing with customers
Fiona is very professional, super quick in responding, refreshingly honest and caring about every small detail. I find their pricing very compatitive compared to other providers. They arranged for the best guide/driver Benson who knew exactly where to find animals. Thank you very much for this unforgettable experience.

Great value for money
This travel agency offers the lowest price, and tourists can choose to include or exclude various small activities. Of course, if your budget is sufficient, you can also ask them to arrange a luxury package.

More Expensive for More Information but Not Neccessarily a Better Tour
I went on the 14 day Combined Kenya-Tanzania Safari. I chose Inspired Feet because of their positive reviews, excellent e-mail communication and detailed itinerary. Fiona was professional and answered all my questions. I had multiple guides but Francis and Godana in Kenya were the best and deserve a shout-out for their service.
I thought I would be with one group the whole time but I was not. This was disappointing to me as a solo traveller. Unless you are on a private tour, you will be on "joining safari" which means you share a car with multiple people from different tour companies. People may have different itineraries. I changed cars 3 times in Kenya and 2 times in Tanzania. It was nice to meet new people and have different drivers but it made it harder to form a bond with people. This was because I had a longer itinerary than most people (it was the extra day in Kenya compared to others that threw things off).
The value for money is OK. I met people who had the same itinerary as me but paid less. I thought I was getting value out of a more detailed itinerary book but honestly it was not worth it. When you get on the safari everyone is figuring things out as they go anyway. Go with the tour company with the best price that hits the destinations you want. The extra information about the destinations in the book and about the hotels was not worth paying what I estimate was 10-15% more than what others did (at least). I would recommend upgrading to the jeep for Kenya though - it is essential and I didn't see any vans in the parks.
Inspired Feet did not communicate with me after I paid the deposit. I was on my own for my visas and had to message them about scheduling the transport from the hotel to their office. Other tour operators did this for their clients so I would have liked more communication.
I was recommended the 14 day itinerary because it was "the most popular option". This was not my experience. During my trip, I did not meet anyone doing the same itinerary (with Inspired Feet or another company). Most people do Kenya OR Tanzania. I did 7 days in Kenya but most people I met were doing 5 days. In Tanzania, I did 6 days but most people do 4. If you want to go to Kenya and Tanzania and want to save money/time, do the 10 day itinerary - it skips Lake Naivasha, Lake Manyara and Tarangire Park, which aren't as popular or good of parks. I preferred Kenya over Tanzania so I would do 6 days in Kenya (having 2 full days in Masai Mara was worth it). The drive to the Serengeti in Tanzania included 4 hours of the worst roads I've ever seen. I thought the Masai Mara was much better for wildlife because it is more dense part. Only go to the Serengeti if it is a bucket list item. The Ngorongoro Crater was highly underwhelming - cool landscape but it really is just a hole in the ground with few animals. Despite this, I enjoyed having a longer trip because I did see new things everyday and could appreciate all the parks at a slower pace. The 4 day run doing Serengeti and Ngorongoro is absolutely brutal - I am glad I had 2 extra days to break it up.
Would I recommend Inspired Feet? Yes and No. Their service was quality, the tour was great and I had a good time. It was expensive for a budget safari and I don't think I should have been recommended the 14-day tour.

Posted on Oct 19, 2025Dear Samantha,
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your detailed experience. We truly value your feedback and are glad to hear that you enjoyed the overall safari and appreciated the service from our team, especially Francis and Godana.
We’re delighted that you found the safari memorable, enjoyed meeting new people, and noted the professionalism in our pre-tour communication. Your insights are invaluable to us.
Regarding the itinerary recommendation, we appreciate your perspective as a younger solo traveler. Our 14-day Kenya–Tanzania safari is typically preferred by elderly clients or wildlife enthusiasts couples who enjoy a slower-paced, immersive experience, and since age details aren’t always provided during booking, it can be difficult to tailor recommendations perfectly. We’ll certainly use this feedback to bridge that gap going forward — ensuring our suggestions align more closely with travelers’ age ranges, energy levels, and preferences.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by the vehicle and guide changes during your trip. We also offered this information prior to the safari on the briefing. Group-sharing safaris sometimes require coordinating travelers on varying itineraries, though we understand how this may have felt less personal as a solo guest. We also appreciate your thoughts regarding communication and itinerary clarity. We did send your receipt after the deposit payment, and for visa-related inquiries, we encourage guests to reach out directly — we pride ourselves on prompt replies via both email and WhatsApp.
In terms of cost, your package included a Jeep upgrade, which accounts for the difference compared to other travelers’ pricing. Moving forward, this upgrade will be automatically included in all 2026/2027 safari packages to enhance value and experience for our guests. A 14D itinerary has to include your accommodations, park entry fees for sleeping inside the park and meals day in & out. It’s a long trip. $2500 for the 14D budget trip was honestly a good deal considering it included the Jeep however we do respect your views.
Once again, we appreciate your honesty and are truly glad that despite the challenges, you had a memorable experience exploring Kenya and Tanzania. We’d be honored to host you again — perhaps on a shorter, more personalized private safari next time.
Kind regards,
Inspired Feet Safaris Ltd

Great safari experience and good communication from organiser
My friend and I really enjoyed the safari and the trip, Fiona was such a lovely person to communicate with. She was very transparent, caring and helpful throughout our stay and while booking the trip. She also made sure to be very responsive whenever we had questions or issues. We were with Gilbert for the first part of our safari and absolutely loved him. He was very patient, on top of everything, communicated our planning, and during the game drive he wanted to make sure that everyone was able to see what they wanted to see, but also that we had enough time to take pictures and admire the animals. We wished we would have been able to do the whole safari with him!
Overall we had a great experience with inspired feet safaris! The itinerary that was sent us, including the accommodation, was exactly what was booked and what we did. We had an amazing time and would book with them again!

Efficient, responsive and extremely friendly! They provide more information than any other company.
We had a 10-day safari with Inspiredfeet safari in Kenya and Tanzania. 1600USD / person.
We loved the Kenya part of safari, it was absolutely perfect and beyond our expectations! We had a budget type of safari, including the acommodation, which was really great! In tented lodges you can find shower, electricity, private sleeping bed. Sometimes the wifi/electricity was not working properly, but common’ - being in the middle of wild Africa, I didn’t expect such amazing conditions, I felt very safe, my phone was always charged (but a powerbank in hand is a must-have). We went to Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli national parks, spotted all the big 5 and many more animals and the views were absolutely stunning! Although, be prepared for very bumpy and dusty roads (our guide called them massages and makeup haha).
Additional thanks for our guide in Tanzania, Jackson - he was absolutely amazing, very funny and friendly and very informative during the game drives, he definitely deserves all the tips for the the extra mile he went for our comfort and entertainment.
As for Tanzania part, the border crossing was smooth and quick, we enjoyed the Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater national parks (although the Serengeti was similar to Masai Mara). The safari part in Tanzania was less impressive to us due to the local company provided, which in no way reflects on Inspiredfeet as it was their subcontractor. We had a mild disappointment with the local guide, but Fiona organised a change for a different guide so quickly and efficiently, I was stunned and it was a huge improvement with Grayson (big recommendation here!). I must warn the travellers that accommodation conditions in Tanzania parks are below the ones in Kenya as you have camping instead of tented lodges (but all the information was clearly provided by Inspiredfeet). It was a bit difficult for us to adjust, especially to cooler weather in campsites as well as difficult conditions to shower or charging our phones.
What I must highlight is the itinerary: a 10 day safari included 2 days in Arusha, and we personally did not like the city, it felt quite unsafe, and would prefer instead to have some activities as a group with a guide. So just be mindful when discussing your personal itinerary with Inspiredfeet, but I believe they will do their best to provide unforgettable experience!
To sum up:
Inspiredfeet safari - is the one you definitely must book first your trip!
The guide Jackson (in Kenya) deserves an applause, he was absolutely 10/10.
Organising the trip in Tanzania is more difficult as it is a different country, and we enjoyed it less than Kenya, but I believe Inspiredfeet did their absolute best to make it as great as possible.
For the price I find it a bit expensive considering the overall prices in east Africa, and some activities, also a tradition of tipping was extra cost for us. Inspiredfeet offer for safari was the cheapest we found among other companies, which made us choose them. And I was delighted with overall experience!
I definitely recommend this company and if we ever come back - that’s the one we will be travelling with.
