Excellent Visit to Zanzibar
Lekobe Adventures did a great job. They were extremely responsive and prompt. The drivers and guides were really good. We loved visiting an organic spice farm. The local guide, Captain, was so knowledgeable! We had an excellent tour. We also appreciated our guide, Mr. Ali who showed us Stonetown. It was great to see this UNESCO world heritage site. Our driver, Mr. Masons, did an excellent job driving us. He was extremely prompt.

The perfect safari
Amazing company with such attention to detail. Booking a safari was very confusing but Elvis was so accommodating and calm. I wasn’t sure what to expect and if all my details would be correct on arrival but from the moment we landed on the airstrip we were taken care of by Isac . We were taken immediately on a game drive and we saw most animals within 3 hours including Elephants, Giraffe, lions, zebra, Hyena and many more smaller species. We didn’t see them from a distance they were up very close to the car. The driver was informative and thrilling. The lunch was delicious and the picnic spot idillic. We were taken to our lodge which was the Serengeti safari lodge. This was very basic. A little too basic for me but a good experience and spectacular views. The people were friendly and the food was delicious. We were only there one night before we moved to the Melia hotel. This was more expensive but worth every penny. Simply amazing hotel, secluded and spectacular. The game drive you could pick the hours you wanted to do and our guide Isac was such a good spotter we only needed to drive from 8am until 3pm, it was enough we saw everything except Rhino on our trip. I don’t mean one elephant a day either. On the last day I counted near to 100 elephants. It’s a once in a lifetime experience and Le Kobe Adventures & Safaris company perfectly organized and extremely efficient. The jeeps were comfortable and spacious with open tops. I actually cried leaving the Serengeti it really did capture my heart. It is so natural and the guides are very respectful of the animals.
Heaven on Earth!

Exquisite and very accommodating
Day Safari to Mikumi from Zanzibar:
Very well organized Safari Experience !
Everything went well. We were picked up at 7am, north of the island, received information via WhatsApp the day before. The plane was already getting on in years, but technically everything was ok! 45 min flight, landing directly in Mikumi National Park on a gravel runway. Then immediately went on a game drive in the 8-seater! Saw a lot of animals, several lions a few meters next to the cruiser, zebras, elephants, wild boars, antelopes, water buffalo, hippos. In between, lunch at a picnic area, rice, salad, juices, bananas, all good! Flight left 1 hour later, 5pm, so our game drive lasted 1 hour longer! Everything was perfect!!

Adventurous from Start to Finish
We did a short safari with Le Kobe Adventures & Safaris for three days two nights and it couldn’t have went any better. It was top class from moment of contact to completion. Everything was arranged perfectly by Elvis who we could always contact quickly to respond.
Transfers and flights went seamlessly and anyone we came into contact with was exceptional. Huge shoutout to Jessica who brought us from the airport to our guide in Arusha. She was one of the nicest people we have ever met and we loved our time with her.
Our Safari was brilliant we saw everything we wanted to see, our ride was perfect, the packed lunch and breakfast was perfect and the accommodation was fantastic. The highlight of the trip was our guide Ibra. He was knowledgeable it was unbelievable and he had a genuine care for the animals that didn’t seem to be shared by all guides. He was also a very safe driver who safely navigated us through some treacherous driving. We saw some very dangerous driving by other guides so we were very happy that we had him and felt so safe which was the most important thing.
Asante Le Kobe Adventures & Safaris team!

Perfectly organised event from collection to return at hotel. Minimal unnecessary waiting arround.
At the time of booking our hotel (Matemwe Altitude) had not opened but it was effortlessly simple to sort out later. They were quick to confirm booking and step by step to finalise the day via WhatsApp. The Safari was great and the guides worked hard to make sure we saw as much as possible and also very informative, totally dedicated and clearly enjoyed making a great day out for all.

Exceptional Safari Experience
We had the absolute pleasure of traveling with Lekobe for our Tanzania safari, and the entire experience truly exceeded our expectations.
From the very first contact, communication was clear, professional, and highly responsive. What impressed us most was their quick reaction to itinerary adjustments and their flexibility whenever changes were needed. Every request was handled promptly and with genuine care — which made us feel completely supported and confident throughout the planning process.
The itinerary was beautifully balanced, allowing us to experience Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro at the perfect pace. Our guide was exceptional — knowledgeable, patient, and deeply respectful of wildlife and nature. We were incredibly fortunate to see rhinos, leopards, cheetahs, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, hippos, baboons, and even a serval cat.
The lodges selected were authentic, comfortable, and perfectly located, adding to the overall magic of the journey.
What truly sets Lekobe apart is their outstanding customer care. We felt safe, heard, and genuinely looked after at every step. Their professionalism combined with warmth made this journey unforgettable.
We wholeheartedly recommend Lekobe to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, made seamless by an exceptional team.

The Big 5 in the Southern Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater
We opted for a private (2 person), mid-range, fly-in and fly-out safari from Zanzibar. This was our first time on safari (and East Africa) so our goal was to immerse ourselves in the overall experience and hope to catch the Big 5. The tour we selected targeted the Southern Serengeti for calving season, along with the Ngorongoro Crater. Our trip planner from Le Kobe was Agness and she did a great job of communicating with us over WhatsApp as well as meeting us in person at our Zanzibar hotel for a quick briefing the day prior.
We were picked up from our hotel at 6am and taken to the Zanzibar airport for a quick, one-hour flight to Arusha with a commercial carrier. Upon arriving in Arusha, we were immediately transferred to our bush plane for an additional one-hour flight (on a Cessna Grand Caravan) to the Ndutu Airstrip in the Southern Serengeti.
After locating our driver, the legendary Floridi we were immediately on a game drive. The Landcruiser came fully stocked with: coolers of bottled water, soda, beer, binoculars, fly-swatters, etc. And within 5 minutes of jumping in his Toyota Landcruiser, we were on Antelopes, Zebras, Giraffes, Elephants, etc. There is really no way to describe how fast the animals appear - and that is because you land on a dirt airstrip and as soon as you leave, you are in the Serengeti wilderness - immediately on game!
After a 6-7 hour game drive, we arrived at Sero Tented Camp (https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g24081720-d25335705-Reviews-Sero_Tented_Camp-Seronera_Serengeti_National_Park.html). We had plenty time for buffet dinner, but we were both pretty tired from the very long day. After eating, we took hot showers and within 90 minutes we were sleeping. But, at 3am we were awoken to the grunts of lion. At first, they were a few hundred meters out, but after a few minutes, the grunts were closer. So our camp site security (local Maasai) went on patrol to clear the area and we got a few more hours of sleep. HINT: the tented lodges are really nice, they have: running water, shampoo and soap, power outlets, clean linens, flush toilets, etc. but you are pretty close to everyone. So the noise can travel quite easily through the canvass tents and as 1 or 2 cell phone alarms go off at 5am, everyone tends to get up. Buffet breakfast was had and we checked out of Sero Tent at 730am to begin day number 2 of the Southern Serengeti.
As we finished our time in the Serengeti, we had already seen 3 of the Big 5 (Leopards - we saw 2; Lions and Lionesses - we saw 2 of each, and Elephants - solo bulls). It was now time to make the trek to Ngorongoro Crater, a few hours drive Southeast. Our awesome guide packed us a bush lunch and we stopped along the way for an unforgettable picnic. That evening we arrived at our second location, the Ngorongoro Safari Lodge (https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g317085-d2265172-Reviews-Ngorongoro_Safari_Lodge-Ngorongoro_Conservation_Area_Arusha_Region.html). This place felt completely different from Sero Tent. These were hard structures, built on stilts and sitting up in the tree canopies. While there is in-fact a canvass tent, each one is under a metal frame giving you added protection from the elements. From our room, we had a view of Lake Eyasi and because we arrived here early (5pm) we had plenty of time to take hot showers and enjoy happy hour - and the restaurant buffet.
The next morning was day 3. We started very early with 6am breakfast and were on our way to the crater by 630am. The drive was very cool, especially seeing all the Maasai villagers herding their goats and cattle after sunrise. As we approached the crater rim, we were taken back by the vastness of this incredible landscape. I have no method of putting the emotions I felt into words to convey and express to you the sheer scope, scale, size and vivid colors of this formation. You just have to be there. As we descended to the crater floor, we immediately got on Cape Buffalo and Black Rhinos! Yes, we were incredibly lucky, we saw 2 Rhinos along the road within just 30 minutes of being on the crater floor. We spent over an hour parked just watching them and it was surreal. And with that, our quest for the Big 5 was accomplished. We also saw: lions, hippos, wildebeest, zebras, antelope, gazelles, flamingos, ostriches, warthogs, hyenas, etc. The amount of animals we saw in both the Serengeti and Ngorongoro is simply incomprehensible.
A final note of thanks to our driver and guide, Floridi. He was incredibly kind and worked so hard to make our safari amazing. He was genuine and authentic, and had so much knowledge to share with us. Being with him for 3 days was truly a special blessing and he literally made our safari special. We met as strangers and left as friends.
