Fantastic from start to finish
5/5

I climbed Kilimanjaro in 2014 as part of a larger group to raise money for charity. It was an exciting, but daunting experience because the mountain is huge! I needn't have worried, I was in good hands.

These guides have climbed this mountains numerous times but each time they treat the mountain with the respect it deserves, and they expect others to do the same. The mountain in sacred. Your safety is paramount to them, and they also want you to enjoy it! They would sing to us when we reached our camp, on our way up the mountain, and even at the top. I can still hear "Hakuna Matata" as I type and I can't help but smile. There were times when I thought I couldn't make it but they made sure I did and you absolutely couldn't have done it without them. The words "Pole Pole" stay with me forever and I still use them now when I do treks anywhere in the world.

It was incredible to see the team taking all the equipment up ahead of us and then seeing the camps all set up on arrival. The food was incredible! Who'd have thought you would have fried chicken at the top of a mountain! Their knowledge of the mountain is wonderful. I loved listening to their stories about the plants, animals and their own lifestyles. It was very humbling.

I was unfortunate enough to suffer with altitude sickness, and the guides were so supportive. Some of them had limited English and others were very good, however, their care was just as brilliant regardless. They had to force me to eat and drink, literally, but I knew they were right. On summit night, I needed to be rushed off the mountain because I fell poorly. It was like a scene out of roadrunner, all that was missing was the "beep beep". Two of the guides held me under each arm and literally ran down the scree with me to base camp. It was scary and very funny at the same time. My wellbeing was all that mattered to them and I am so grateful to them for all their support.

Overall this was a fantastic experience and I would not hesitate in recommending their services to anyone. I would like to thank Moses and the whole team for their unwavering support, but most of all, for getting me up and down that incredible mountain safely.

The trip was arrange via WhatsApp with direct contact to Mr Moses. The staff picked us at the airport, to the lovely comfort hotel, before the dinner we went over the climbing trip plan which was on the following day. We were 3 adventurous friends (@camphike4ever) and Mr Moses provided us around 12 individuals to help with the gears and camping accessories and 2 Wounderful humble guides. Climbing was beautiful scenery over the 6 days. We achieved our goal and climbed Kilimanjaro mountain. We strongly recommend for any one would like to climb the mountain to join Mr Moses and his crew.

We had an absolutely amazing safari experience with Joel as our guide. From start to finish, he was friendly, caring, and incredibly kind. His sense of humor made every day enjoyable, and he always made us feel comfortable and well taken care of.

Joel was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and the area, and he went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible safari experience. His enthusiasm and passion for what he does really showed, and it made our trip even more memorable.

We saw so many incredible animals and created memories that will last a lifetime. We highly recommend Joel to anyone looking for a fantastic safari guide. Thank you, Joel, for making our safari such an unforgettable adventure!

A multi language learning warrior
4/5

This safari was not just about seeing animals, but about understanding the land, the distance, and the effort behind the journey. The long drives and changing landscapes reminded me how vast and diverse this region truly is. While the cost felt high compared to our personal income, the reality of the travel conditions made it clear that organizing such a trip requires significant work and responsibility.

Our guide, Ombene, played an important role in shaping the experience. He drove patiently for many hours, navigated difficult roads with confidence, and remained calm and positive throughout. As a Maasai Murani, he carried a strong sense of pride in his culture and shared a warm energy with the group, especially during moments when everyone gathered to relax and connect.

I am not completely sure if the guide’s salary is included in the tour fee, but offering a tip felt like a meaningful way to recognize his dedication.

What stayed with me most were the gradual transitions of scenery, from open plains to wildlife-filled landscapes, and the quiet moments of observing animals in their natural environment. These experiences created a deeper connection to the place beyond simple sightseeing.

For travelers who appreciate slow journeys, cultural encounters, and immersive experiences rather than rushed schedules, this safari is worth considering. It takes effort, but the rewards come in moments of understanding and reflection.

Perfect communication and budget-friendly service by Kiliclimb.
5/5

We chose Kiliclimb because of many positive reviews from Korean travelers, and we were truly satisfied. Communication via WhatsApp was very fast, and every step—from the pre-safari briefing to the driver matching, guide, and camp accommodations—was excellent. We especially appreciate their efforts to work within our budget.
Our guide was Melk, who has a very warm personality and is a total "MacGyver". He fixed both a minor issue with the vehicle and even our Crocs! 😊 Most importantly, thanks to Melk's "Good Eyes" and amazing spotting skills, we were able to see all of the Big 5! It was an incredible experience.
A few tips for future travelers:
• Duration: We thought 3 nights and 4 days would be enough, but it felt shorter than expected.
• Planning: We visited in February (calving season) and stayed in South Serengeti. While we saw the Big 5, we mostly saw lions and leopards resting. Still, seeing them at all was better than not!
• Location: We realized after the trip that South Serengeti is actually part of Ngorongoro. If we go again, we would definitely visit the Central and Northern areas.
• Advice: Don't just plan based on the season (like going only to the South); it's much better to consult with the Safari Director or guide to set your itinerary.
Melk recommended visiting the North and Central Serengeti from July to September, so we are already dreaming of our next trip. Thank you, Kiliclimb!
