Great hike to Mt Kenya with Tegu tours
The hike to Mt Kenya with Tegu tours was great. The representative, guide and porters were great persons, and very kind. Since our start in Nairobi to the mountains it was great. We started at Sirimon gate, and ended at Chongoria gate. The guide and porters look after me during the hike. The food was delicious and the guide's knowledge of the trails is excellent. The porters were quite knowledgeable as well. They help me to carry my stuff when it was needed. I totally recommend Tegu tours for your hiking trips to Mt Kenya.

Hi, I've been with this company for 3 days. I had a very good time. Very nice accommodation. I saw lots of animals. the staff was so frienldly and knowledgeable. our driver was wonderful and knowledgeable (Gee Man) the accommodation was great and clean. certainly the food can be better but it was ok. I recommend going with them, I hope you will have the same great experience as me

Very accommodating and honest.
We had an amazing time with the help of Edward, who organized the itinerary. Our guides, Jon and Antony, were very good at spotting the animals and shared interesting facts about them. We did the 6-day safari and saw all sorts of animals. The 3 parks (Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Amboseli) are so different so I recommend going to all of them.

Edward is my travel whisperer
Before working with Edward, I envisioned travel agents as simply booking flights and hotels based on a pre-set itinerary. During my Kenya trip, however, I encountered a situation where I needed proper documents. Edward's swift action in securing the necessary documents, and turned what could have been a disaster into a fantastic vacation. His calmness, expertise, and willingness to go the extra mile during a stressful moment truly made a difference. Edward is more than just a travel agent; he's someone who ensures his clients have a smooth and enjoyable travel experience.

Excellent customer service
Tour from 21/10 to 27/10. We were picked up on time from the hotel. Safari 4X4 also departed full on time. Our driver and guide Benson Masai of origin made out safari memorable. He knows how to be always first on scene after spotting an event in Masai Mara. He is very client oriented just like Tegu tours and safari office. I will totally recommend Tegu tours . Time logistics and customer satisfaction are their top priority which I love very much. We took mid-range tour. If you can, ask always for the guide Benson and trust me you will have the best safaris ever

Very well organized tour
Very good communication
Good value for money
It is a reliable operator
Very well organized tour
Excellent driver Charles who took us to see lots of animals. He went above and beyond to give us a good experience.
We booked budget accommodation. We didn't sleep in the places which were told originally but I believe what we got it was the same value.
Some tents had warm water and electricity only between certain hours which was a bit inconvenient: apeox 8pm till 7am. Not hot water for budget.
We had 6 days safari starting from Nairobi: Masai Mara, Nakuru, Niwasi, Amboseli. I was expecting to see Tsavo West on last day. On last day we did nothing but straight travel back.
If you plan to pay with credit card once you arrive in Kenya, we were told that it is possible. It is true bit there is 5% fee for each payment which we were not aware. Keep this in mind.
Overall it was a good experience. I totally recommend this tour operator and I can definitely come back with him.

Once in a lifetime experience
Amazing experience with the world’s best guide Benson. The team of porters and the cook were also really helpful and caring. Since we were two girls climbing the mountain alone, we always felt safe.
The Chogoria Route was very scenic and doable for two normally fit people.
The only downside was the lack of information provided prior to the hike (regarding pick up time, transport to the mountain, facilities on the mountain), but when we asked the tour operator we almost always got an answer. However, once we got to the mountain everything seemed very well organised and went smoothly.
I would recommend this to everyone looking for a once in a lifetime experience!

Great team
A great trip, fantastic staff and well worth it.
I found it hard coming from sea level, first night at 3000m, second at 4000m and the assent the next day was tough without any rest day... but with determination and lots of heavy breathing, I made it. Thanks to the guide and cook who were great covering for the porter who was ill. I hope he is OK now. A lovely experience.
