Every details was planned out and executed perfectly.
Peter organized everything for us, making our trip an incredible experience. He greeted us on the morning of our first day, took us to his office to settle our balance, and introduced us to our driver. We had Boniface for the Kenya portion of our safari and Rueben for Tanzania—both were exceptionally knowledgeable about the wildlife and skilled at finding the best viewing spots. While seeing all of the Big 5 isn’t guaranteed, we were lucky enough to spot them all. Even for a budget safari, every detail was well taken care of.
A few helpful tips: You’ll spend a lot of time in a jeep or van, both on game drives and traveling between parks, so be prepared for long hours sitting. The dry climate makes it quite dusty—avoid white clothes or anything you don’t want getting dirty. Bring cash if you’d like to enjoy a beer at the camps or hotels, as not all accept credit cards.
Accommodations vary by location. In Kenya, we stayed in comfortable hotels or raised tents with private bathrooms and showers. In Tanzania, we camped in ground tents with communal washrooms and showers. Meals are mostly buffet-style for breakfast and dinner—not gourmet, but always plentiful. In Tanzania, a cook traveled with us and prepared hot meals. Fresh fruits and juices were available at every stop and were safe to consume.
Overall, an unforgettable safari experience!

Fun, safe, friendly
Six months before the start of the trip, we started discussing safari with Peter. He told me everything down to the smallest detail. I answered almost around the clock! He also gave useful tips for our trip. Unfortunately, we did not have the opportunity to make an advance payment, and Peter went to meet us - we paid for the safari upon arrival in Nairobi. A few days before the start of the safari, when we were already in Nairobi, Peter also kept in touch with us and helped us in many ways - for this he received a special "thank you very much!".
We had a wonderful driver, Boniface, who was with us all the way, and he not only transported us from park to park and conducted safaris, but also helped, explained, and calmed us down if necessary.
Kenya itself is a country for brave and wealthy travelers. But Peter and Boniface did everything to make us - the 4 girls - believe that this was not entirely true. It was calm, comfortable and safe with them. The guys have never deceived us and have always helped us with everything simply because they are cool!
Thanks to Boniface, we had a lot of fun during the safari and were able to see almost all the animals we wanted)
We don't want to go to Kenya anymore, but we would love to go on safari with these guys more than once!

Budget Friendly Complete Safari
It was an awesome experience joining the 2D 1N Maasai Mara Safari. Really had a wonderful time even though it was just a 3 hour evening game drive. My expectations were lower due to the time, but i managed to spot alot of animals. My big thank you goes to Brother Peter who arranged this for me and as a solo traveller I was well taken care of and the rest was just pure fun and thrill. Definitely will come back in the future for a longer period. Thank you Pavilion Safaris

Everyone is very nice and patient, don’t be afraid if you were the first time to come.
We had a great time with the operators and the tour driver. Everyone was so nice, the sceneries were amazing, if you choose them, the tour driver always can find a good view for you to take good pictures. During these time, we were so close to see lions, cheetah, leopards, elephants , and many animals. Believe me, if you choose them, you will have a high quality time there.

I had a really great solo safari with Pavillion
The safari was certainly value for money, reliable and I enjoyed to meet new people who were a very a convivial bunch. Moses our driver and tour guide together with Solomon were also excellent and knowledgeable tour guides. The only thing to improve on is for better communication between safari headoffice staff and on the ground third party tour operators regarding safari add ons and trip amendments.

Friendly and Trustable
My daughter asked me why I chose Peter and Pavillion as our Safari tour provider, because she heard some worst experience from others, answer always delayed, some times make monkey business or even cheating.
I just told her that Peter always gave me a prompt reply while I tried to contact him for any information. I am also kidding to her that I had seen Peter' photo in Pavillion website, he looks so friendly and super strong that he will never make cheating business, because if he really wants to make some illegal money, robbing is much easier than cheating.
All in all, 7days safari tour is quite amazing and unforgettable, the only regrettable issue is that we didn't see Great Kilimanjaro due to clouded weather, I think this will be a good excuse for me to visit Kenya again in future.

An unforgettable experience
We have just returned from the 6-day budget safari in Kenya (Mara - Nakuru - Amboseli).
Positives:
- Communication with Peter before the tour was good, and pickup from our accommodation in Nairobi went smoothly
- Animals !!!
- The accommodation was good, especially considering we booked the budget tour. Especially the hotel in Nakuru and the Nyati Safari camp were excellent.
- Animals !!!
- John, our driver, was great. He ensured that we had enough time to take photos and enjoy the views until we decided we could proceed further.
- Animals !!!
- I would highly recommend the morning walk at the Nyati Safari Camp (not mentioned in the itinerary)

Negatives:
- The minivan broke down after about 1 hour on the first day, which caused a 2h delay
- Although the website said "Max 7 people per vehicle", there were 8 people in the van. The problem is: only 7 fit in the open roof area
- They are mixing groups who booked different tours, so you're not with the same people the whole time.
- Lunch packages weren't great (but it's a budget tour)
- Long drives, but this is unavoidable
Overall, we had a great time and I would recommend Pavillion Safaris. We also felt that 6 days was a perfect duration for us.

Wonderful experience
We just got back from a 6 day safari with Pavillion tours from 2-8 of July 2025. We were a bit reluctant to start with, as many of the reviews were local, and you never know… but after speaking a couple of times with Peter, he gained our trust and we decided to go with Pavillion. Absolutely the right decision!!!
Our driver/guide Patrick picked us up on time at the hotel, and was friendly and professional from day one. Our group (2 families with 3 kids total) was well taken care, and we felt safe the whole stay. The kids even cried and gave Patrick a hug the last day when he dropped us off at the airport.
About the safari, we went to Mara, Nakuru and Amboseli. We saw the big 5, and also learned about all the other animals and discovered about the ugly 5 too. Patrick was very diligent and could see all the shy animals long before we did.
If you’re looking for a professional safari company, Pavillion is your place. They will help craft it based on your budget and type of animals or lodges you want to stay at.
Thank your Peter and Richard for everything, we will all remember this trip during the rest of our lives.
