Absolutely incredible trip - exceeded all of our expectations!
The safari trip we planned through Planet Africa was phenomenal! We had such an amazing time and loved every day - somehow each day kept getting better and better. We were there to see animals, and our expectations were far exceeded. We saw so many incredible animals up close, and the guides were incredible, especially at Namiri Plains. They had so much information, and were so excited to explain to us everything about the animals, the camp, the country, and anything else that was relevant. They not only answered all of our questions, but provided a ton of additional information and are genuinely passionate about what they do.
In addition to the guides, the servers, managers and Maasai helpers - everyone was just great! I can't say enough good things about the level of service and attention to detail. They were so attentive and made sure that everything was cared for, from greeting us with rosewater towels each time we got back from safari to making sure our wine glasses were always full. We were also very impressed with how well organized everything was. Everything worked like clockwork, nothing was every late or wrong, from the 5:30am in-room coffee service to the person on hand to escort us to our rooms in the evening. We were both incredibly impressed with how well run all of the camps were...and with the food - it was amazing! The food was one of our favorite parts of the trip, we were always looking forward to meals. I wish I could find food this good where we live! Every camp did an amazing job with recipes and accommodating vegetarians. The camp locations were second to none, and we loved being in the middle of the parks and the action each night. All in all, we had an absolutely amazing trip and we would recommend this company to anyone looking to see a lot of animals, eat amazing food, and meet great people.

It was a real pleasure planning this trip, together with Leah from Planet Africa: so efficient, so knowledgable, great communication with always prompt replies to whatever questions I had! wonderful trip
I had a flawless trip from start to finish, and feel I got a very personalized approach from Planet Africa. I wanted to see lions, and Leah was super throughout the planning. The two camps were a dream come true.

Best holiday we've ever had
We booked with Planet Africa on the recommendation of friends who travelled with them the previous year and had raved about their wonderful holiday. We sent an email request to get a better idea of the options and cost, and a representative arranged a call that same day to talk through our preferences. She and her team organized a trip that combined gorilla tracking in Rwanda (our primary focus of the trip) with safari at two different sites in Tanzania based on a few telephone conversations and email exchanges. The entire trip was extremely professional, from beginning to end, with excellent communication, personalized service and great attention to detail. The accommodation was perfect at each location. Our local guides were absolutely fantastic - knowledgeable and engaging, particularly at Sayari Camp in the Northern Serengeti. Logistics were worked out brilliantly. We can't remember a trip that was so flawless in its execution, whether with the timing of flights, being met by our local guides, or any other aspect of the trip. The Planet Africa team was also on hand while we were in Rwanda and Tanzania to help as needed; towards the end of our stay in Tanzania, we made a last minute request to change the itinerary and they were very quick to get back with us about options and to help make the adjustments. We were absolutely thrilled with the service we received and the holiday we had, which definitely goes down as the best in more than 30 years of travel to more than 50 countries. We will undoubtedly book a future trip with Planet Africa.

Very good
The hotels were perfect. The service in all the hotels were very good and the management and staff in Sayari Camp give us a warm feeling. The safari was also good. Less animals than a few years ago.

Wonderful experience planning and organizing our "bucket list" trip to Africa
Mary at Planet Africa did a wonderful job helping me plan our month long trip to Africa. We traveled to Zanzibar, 3 national parks in mainland Tanzania, Kigali Rwanda, Bwindi Forest in Uganda (for mountain gorilla tracking, Victoria Falls, and finally Cape Town area. Planet Africa organized the trip very well and we had great drivers and guides in all our different travel locations. I highly recommend using Planet Africa for a trip to Africa.

Last minute magic
Mary and Planet Africa Safaris was able to organize a last minute safari for our group of six. We feel very lucky to have worked with them as the experience was ease, efficient, and exactly what we were looking for. We had a few changes as well that they responded to positively and quickly. Thee magic was how they listened, made suggestions, and tailored the most perfect trip with added pressure of a tight timeline. We will be back and with an even larger group!
