Paid but was left stranded
I had a bad experience with this company. I booked a permit for rushaga in Bwindi NP through this company. The hike was supposed to start from the headquarters office. I was provided with a guide who had already registered for a group of 7 people.
When the trekking started we got a family that was 1 hour away. The company drove me to the beginning of the trekking but then left me stranded after the trekking. I had to ask for help of the local people to make my way back to the hotel. They did not want to take me back with their vehicle although there was plenty of space in the car.

Very easily accesible with very quick replies!
Very easy to communicate with. Replies to mails in an instant.
Expensive to enter the parks but it is worth every dollar to get so close to the animals in the Wild.
The trip includes a lot of time on the roads, but the scenery is spectacular, in cities or in the countryside.
Our driver was reliable and experienced.

Reliable agency for the Gorilla experience in Uganda
Overall a good experience.
Michelle is absolutely fantastic, she organized a memorable trip for us, always very quick replying to us, great service.
Our tour guide was Godfrey, he did the basic things.
I recommend Eco Adventure Safaris as a reliable agency for your trip to Uganda for the Gorilla experience.

Adventure of a Lifetime
We took our niece on her graduation trip to Uganda, so we could trek with the gorillas and chimpanzees. We specifically chose Eco Adventure Safaris for their ratings and itinerary. Were there hiccups? Of course, it is Africa. But their staff, especially our guide, Silas, quickly pivoted and immediately came up with alternative solutions. The amount of wildlife we saw was amazing (thanks to Silas' expert spotting). Silas took fantastic care of us; we met as strangers and left family. We were so blessed to have him as our guide. We've been to Africa 4 times previously, and Uganda is very special. Not only are Uganda's scenery and national parks beautiful, but the people are so gracious, welcoming, and friendly. We will definitely be back!

Thoughtful, expert-led Uganda tours rich in wildlife, birds, and culture.
We had an unforgettable tour through Uganda with Elias, and I can honestly say he made the whole journey much deeper and more meaningful.
He is very organized, but also incredibly kind, attentive, and thoughtful. He always knew where to stop for the best views, quiet moments, or good photos. During the drives, he never just took us from one place to another. He explained what we were seeing: the landscapes, the Virunga volcanoes, the Kazinga Channel between Lake George and Lake Edward, the places where savanna turns into forest, and so many small details that a visitor would never understand from a guidebook alone.
What impressed me most was how deeply he knows Uganda: its wildlife, nature, traditions, everyday life, and culture. He told us about gorillas, chimpanzees, rhinos, animal behavior, plants, local customs, holidays, and the way people live. It felt not just like a tour, but like a natural-history expedition through the country.
And for me personally, as a birdwatcher, the biggest surprise was that Elias is also a very experienced birder. He helped me identify birds, explained field marks, compared similar species and subspecies, used a bird guide to show the details, and seemed to know the book almost by heart. He even gave me little “homework” after our bird sightings: to compare different subspecies of the Grey Crowned Crane in my photos and in the field guide, noticing small details such as the red facial patch and other field marks. It was such a fun and memorable part of the trip.
Thanks to him, I managed to add around 160 bird lifers during this trip. Let’s just say my eBird list from Uganda is something a fellow birder might be both impressed by and a little jealous of.
After this journey, I feel truly inspired to come back and do a dedicated birding tour with Elias, across Uganda or even wider East Africa.
I highly recommend Elias to anyone who wants more than a standard safari. If you want an adventure with beautiful wildlife, birds, plants, landscapes, culture, and a real understanding of the country, he is exactly the guide you hope to meet.
Excellent
We took part in an 8-day gorilla (Kaara mountain lodge, Bwindi), chimpanzee (Kibale forest tourist lodge) and golden monkey trekking, spiced up with 2 days of rest at the lake Mutanda resort. The experiences, the accommodation, the food were all fantastic, exceeding our expectations. The road and the tours were very safe. It was simply fantastic organization, and we had an experience of a lifetime.

Wonderful 5 days Gorilla and chimpanzee trekking experience
I have done a 5 days Gorilla and Chimpanzee trekking with Eco adventure.
The experience is wonderful from booking to the tour itself.
Michelle and Patrick always repond so quickly by email and customise the itinerary according to all my needs. I don't need to worry at all.
For my tour, my driver/guide Abdul is so nice, easy going, attentive and he is a good driver. The african bumpy road is rough but I feel very safe. Although I am travelling alone, it's like travelling with a friend with my guide. He answered all my random silly questions patiently for the whole trip, also explained the culture, landscape about Uganda and Rwanda.
The gorilla and chimps trekking of course is just amazing.
I highly recommend Eco Adventure Safaris!!

2 days gorillas tour
It was a good experience. I decided to start from Rwanda because it was much shorter than from Uganda. My driver Godfrey was very good, with deep explanations and pro driving, very attentive. I would definitely recommend the tour.

Great experience
Gorilla trekking in Mgahinga was an incredible experience. Everything was very well-organized, safe, and professional from start to finish. The guides took great care of the group and explained the rules in detail. The entire experience ran smoothly and in a friendly atmosphere. It's a unique experience and definitely worth the money.

Great itinerary and comfortable stays
We were very well taken care of by our guide Hannington, and the itinerary was well-planned with lots of rest in between.
Highlight of our trip was definitely the trek to see the Kutu Gorilla Family. They have a young alpha on his way to become a full silverback, and it’s fun to see how they interact with each other as a family.
