So kind and knowledgeble tour guides
I appreciate for kind tour guides and humorous fellowships. I visited Africa for the first time, but tour guides offered me wonderful hospitality and particularly Tanzanian driver told a lot about the animals and the Maasai people. Best three days in Tanzanian safari.
The only drawback is meals high in flied foods and carbohydrates (so delicious, but a little lack of vegetables), and toilet sanitaion in camp sites. I am used to the standard of hygiene in Japan, so I could not like the hygience in toilet and shower room there...

It is a positive, enthusiastic, careful and comprehensive local reception club
This is a great local pick-up club. Before the trip starts, we actively introduce the itinerary in detail. The unexpected situations that occur after the trip starts are solved very well. During the itinerary, I fulfilled all my expectations for travel. The driver and chef were warm and friendly. The shocking scenes of the African grasslands were endless. I highly recommend

Soooo special experience
I have just concluded a 7-day, 6-night safari trip in Kenya. Even now, I can't stop thinking about it! This was definitely an unforgettable and wonderful travel experience.
Before coming here, as I was traveling alone, I did a lot of research. Also, due to budget constraints, I finally chose Pesaso from among many options because it offers great value for money, excellent service, and very detailed route introductions. Moreover, its response speed is extremely fast. Although there is a time difference, the promptness of its responses is something I highly value and is very important. In fact, this proved to be very crucial during my subsequent journey.
Let's start with accommodation. Since it was an economy tour group, we stayed in campsites throughout the journey. However, the campsites chosen for the group tour were quite good. They had great locations and decent conditions. For instance, the one in Maasai Mara was just a 10-minute drive from the entrance, which was very convenient and saved time, allowing us to spend more time in the park. The hotel in Nakuru was also very nice. We were offered welcome drinks and hot towels, which was very considerate. I was traveling alone and was very lucky that I was mostly assigned a private room throughout the trip. This was very beneficial for my rest and made me feel safe and at ease.
The food was much better than I expected. There were basically rich self-service options available, with both vegetables and meat. Especially, the beef and mutton cooked by several campsites were extremely delicious. The fresh milk was very tasty, and the coffee was also satisfactory. The breakfast at Nakuru Hotel was very diverse, and you could enjoy the sunrise while having breakfast, with a beautiful view.
The daily itinerary was also well-arranged. Although there were some days with long hours spent in the vehicle, the time spent in the scenic spots was fully utilized to satisfy our sightseeing. We managed to see all the Big Five of Africa. The driver, Bony, was very capable. He drove the car very steadily and safely. Moreover, he was very experienced in spotting animals and showed us many wild animals. He was an excellent guide.
Although this was an economic tour group, the overall travel experience was highly cost-effective and I had a great time. My European and American friends who came along were also very supportive. I'm also very grateful to Pedaso for the arrangements. They would kindly ask about my experience every day and respond promptly to any feedback. This made me feel very at ease, especially since I was traveling alone. This is a very reliable choice. If any of my friends come to Kenya, I will also recommend Pedaso!

Pedaso safaris is a good company, responsive and they try to help as much as they can
I booked a 9 days budget safari kenya+tanzania the last week of September. David replied every question I asked before booking. He was very responsive and offered his help for everything. I am very grateful but after doing the trip, I feel like he promised more than what he could afford to promise. Therefore, you need to watch out for yourself. This was regarding the back-office support. Regarding the trip: during the safari, you are on your own. The drivers will not help you and the tour operator cannot reach them (or at least in my case my drivers were never aware of the things David said he told them). The drivers and tour operator will always make sure you arrive to your destination, but that's it.
And you will really feel that this is a budget travel. In Kenya, in the car condition and the driver expertise. In Tanzania, in the accommodation. My personal advise is to not book Kenya+Tanzania; choose 1 country and do not cross the border.
Another fact is that the drivers do not follow the rules of the reserves, they drive fast and approach the animals extremely close, disturbing them. I saw sad situations in all the reserves, so if you are concerned about animal welfare, you should not do a safari at all. All the cars behave the same way.
Reply from Pedaso Safaris
Posted on Oct 3, 2025Thank you for your feedback. We’re happy you found our team responsive and supportive. At Pedaso Safaris, we take wildlife respect, guest safety, and transparency very seriously. Our guides are trained to follow park rules, and our packages may differ depending on itinerary and inclusions, which explains differences between travelers.
Being a group joining safari, it's industry practice that we combine Travelers with other tour agencies to make the safari possible since its a group safari and not a private one. The claims that you were all alone are close to false since our guides were present to your requests and even showed great concern when you injured yourself during the safari even with their long hours of driving and animal sighting, they still created time for you to make sure you were doing well when needed.
We are aware of the promise you are referring to is the Wildebeest migration, which we informed you prior to the safari and even during the onset that it was a possibility since it all depends on nature, our drivers made sure to roam around the Mara river to try any luck but unfortunately it wasn't the lucky day on your travel day to spot the migration. This is unfortunate that you put the blame on us while we have no control at all on how nature acts or responds on a given day.
We’re sorry this experience did not meet your expectations, but we appreciate your recognition of our efforts. We’ll keep working hard to provide memorable and responsible safaris for all our guests.
Warm regards,
Pedaso Safaris
