Be careful if you sustain an injury during one of their tours
Despite advertising that they carry comprehensive insurance, this company will deny any responsibility if during one of their tours you sustain and life changing injury as I did. They arrange all activities and accomodation and therefore it is reasonable to expect that they will accept a duty of care. They do not. Do your research before selecting your tour operator, make sure you are covered.

Disappointing
We got a recommendation to contact Nature Travel for a safari in Namibia. However after a few emails discussing our trip and asking twice for a quote we didn't hear anything from them.

We had a great trip to Namibia, We had a superb guide Buzzy Joel. The area was fantastic, saw great game, the resorts we stayed in were fantastic.

Awesome- Best Guide ever
We truly had an exceptional and once-in-a-lifetime experience in Namibia, thanks to one of the finest guides I've encountered during my travels to Africa, Mr. Wilson Garafa. He demonstrated professionalism and shared extensive knowledge throughout the journey, particularly impressing us with his remarkable understanding of wildlife – a true testament to what a wildlife guide should embody. Despite the outstanding experience, my only disappointment lies in Nature Travel Namibia lack of collaboration for a more favorable price. Given its high cost, they sought every last penny from us. If they were more cooperative in this aspect, I would wholeheartedly recommend this tour to others, given my role as a tour leader in my country.. I also would have given them full stars !

Wonderful experience in Namibia
We chose Nature Travel Namibia as they seemed the right people to satisfy our holiday needs. Email exchange was very professional and the itinerary prepared by Amber was extremely detailed. Only drawback encountered was a defective tailgate in our pickup truck from day 1
which hindered loading/unloading heavy luggage. Luckily our guide Wilson happened to be an extraordinary person, but also an expert in flora, fauna and geology. He made our holiday a great one!

Everything We Wanted to See ... and More
Our private tour took us through astounding desert scenery, to the tops of unimaginable dunes and to sightings of incredible wildlife at fabulous watering holes. We started with a visit to the incredible dunes of Sossusvlei. Our guide Charl ensured we got to them in time to photograph them in the best morning light possible. Climbing to the top was a wonderful experience as was wandering among the 900 year old trees on the salt flat. From there it was off to Swakopmund and a safari to look for the little five in the adjacent Namibia Desert. Our local guide Chantal, was amazing with her knowledge and ability to track the tiny creatures - from the Sidewinder snake to the Palmetto lizard. Our flight, arranged for by Nick, over the Namib Desert was truly amazing. To see the dunes from the air reinforced our great decision to have seen and climbed them. The final part of our experience with Charl and Nature Travel Namibia was the safari in Etosha Park. We saw an amazing array of animals - from lions and elephants at a watering hole to an impala staring down and challenging a leopard to chase him. The leopard didn’t! We enjoyed mostly excellent accommodation throughout the trip along with very good meals. Charl was an incredible wealth of knowledge and willingly shared that knowledge. We all felt very comfortable and safe while he was driving - which was quite a lot. The distances we had to travel over gravel roads was the only downside, although unavoidable, of the trip. Perfect to work with and get us the schedule we wanted
As a group of 3 people, we wanted to see the Namibia highlights in a relaxed schedule. We started with looking at existing tours and ended up with Nature Travel Namibia. We shared with Petra what we wanted to see and do and, with a couple of iterations, got to a schedule that looked about right for us. We then moved on to picking the lodges and hotels in the various locations. Once selected, we then ‘padded’ the schedule with extra days in some of the nicest looking lodges to have flexibility and be able on the spot to decide doing something unscheduled, or nothing at all and just relax. Petra was very helpful in providing options and suggestions to make sure we got what we were looking for. We ended up going counter clock wise to Etosha first for 3 nights, followed by 2 nights Ugab, 1 night Swakopmund, 3 nights Sossusvlei, and 2 nights Windhoek from where we did a one-day charter flight to FishRiver Canyon.
Joram as guide and driver was pleasant and fun. He understood what we were looking for – planning and timing was decided on-the-go with no need at all to rush anywhere. He told us our schedule was more relaxed than his usual tours and he appeared to be enjoying his time as well during our trip.
We were totally satisfied with how this whole trip worked out for us, and would not hesitate to recommend Nature Travel Namibia to anyone considering travel plans for Namibia.

What a wonderful trip!
We had the most FANTASTIC time in beautiful Namibia. Everything Pepi organised for us, from the travel, to the accommodation, trips, restaurant recommendations and alterations along the way - just amazing. Given our disappointment at our cancelled trip to Thailand, and then a cycle trip cycling too, we feel so fortunate to have had one of our best holidays ever! It was seamlessly organised in just 10 days, under our given budget, and covered everything we hoped for, and more! The self drive was the perfect choice - we had such fun and always felt safe. The accommodation was stunning, and always in a great location with exemplary service and facilities.
Thank you, Pepi, for all your hard work and care, staying in touch with us - even out of hours - and great sense of style and taste! We had a wonderful time. We have already been recommending you! I hope that everyone who reads this contacts you to have a wonderful holiday in the most beautiful country!

An unforgettable African experience!
This was our second private trip with Nature Travel Namibia, and it was just as extraordinary as the first. Our agent, Petra, put together a perfect itinerary for us, featuring the best spots for birdwatching. She was able to adapt to the changes we requested. Our guide, Buzzy, is passionate about nature and knows the names of every living species. He helped us spot 266 species of birds, not to mention the small and large animals we encountered along the way. He is also an excellent photographer and helped us to take great photos. The lodges were all very comfortable, the food was excellent and the welcome warm. If you want to experience Africa and not miss a thing, we highly recommend them.

Amazing Adventures, Landscapes, and Animal Viewing
Booking with Nature Travel Namibia was an easy experience. Pepi clearly communicated a proposed itinerary, cost, and finalized our itinerary according to our requests. Ahead of the trip Pepi reached out to confirm our bookings, notify us who our guide would be, as well as providing a general packing list and what to expect. We highly recommend starting the trip by heading south and then working up towards Etosha. Some of the highlights were spending time on the coast, eating fresh seafood, spending time in the national parks which were amazing for seeing nature, and exploring the dunes. The landscape of Namibia has a lot of variety and even driving five minutes it looks like you are in a different world.
Mr. Lucky was our travel guide and he went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. He is a very experienced guide! He had great tips for us while trying game meat, explaining the language dialects, and spotting wild life.
One downside was some of our accommodations seemed more dated and in need of updating. However, the overall experience was still amazing! We would love to travel back to Namibia again and would consider booking future travel adventures with Nature Travel Nambia.
