Mugisha was a very kind, professional, informative and respectful tour guide.
We had the experience of a lifetime with Mugisha on the Akagera Safari. We started out with the most incredible breakfast that was completely unexpected. Then on to the safari. Mugisha was amazing at helping us spot all of our favourite animals. Of the Rwanda 'big 5', we saw 3 up close. It was such a hot day the cats (lion and leopard) were somewhere hiding in the shade. But that's OK because we saw so much more. Mugisha was an amazing driver on the very bumpy (but fun!) roads. Lunch was another unexpected surprise at a lovely 'cafe' overlooking a lake. Perfect. The vehicle was so much fun with the pop-up roof and we were able to spot a lot of animals. I would highly recommend Golden Rwanda Safaris. The communication beforehand and afterwards was fantastic. Frank, the owner, was very quick to respond to all of my queries.
We hope to return to Rwanda in the near future and will definitely book a Gorilla Trek with Golden Safaris. Thank you to Mugisha and Frank.

Our tour guide was excellent!
You won’t find a better tour company. Our tour guide (Mugisha) was the best! The service was outstanding. We went on the gorilla trek and Mugisha was with us every step of the way making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable and amazing experience. Five Star service and excellent value for the money.

An Incredible Customized Experience
We had an absolutely incredible time on the safari, boat ride, and gorilla trek. Our guide Vincent was very courteous, kind, knowledgeable, and made sure we were taken care of and were having a great time. Vincent was really good at spotting animals while driving, he explained their behaviors, and even helped us take beautiful photos. We were really well taken care of while getting to explore the incredible country that is Rwanda. This was an experience I'd recommend for anyone.

Frank at Golden Rwanda is an incredible person to work with - everything from planning, communicating, service, and ESPECIALLY reliability/trustworthiness is notch, FIVE STAR quality. He provided guidance when needed and knew anything and everything about all the fun and experiences to have in Rwanda, but also attended to every single thing and idea we wanted as well. He realllllllly worked with us and we were fairly specific with all of the things we wanted to - he handled everything with ease and made everything possible. Jean Claude was our guide and he was PERFECT!!!! Great knowledge, soooo well spoken, and extremely creative and attentive. If we wanted to change the schedule, he gladly did and accommodated any new on-the-whim ideas we had. Frank truly went above and beyond for our family and you can tell when someone is a good person - and Frank is a truly soul-to-Earth good human - he did a lot more for our family than this review will give us space to write. He knew how much we dreamed of seeing the gorrillas and did far more than anyone else ever would to help us on our journey. We consider Jean Claude and Frank family and plan to be back for a Round 2 of Rwanda as soon as we can.

Fantastic service provided, with an excellent guide at a very good rate
This was an unbelievable experience and one we won’t ever forget. Comparatively, the price was very reasonable for a one day tour, with a pick up, drop off, breakfast and lunch. The booking experience was straight forward, and all of our questions were answered quickly and with great detail.
Our guide Bosco was incredibly knowledgable, and clearly loved his job. He had perfect timekeeping from beginning to end and communicated with us as soon as he received my number. Bosco kept us all happy, entertained and taught us all so much. He had an answer for every ridiculous question we posed, and got us into the park and back home safely. Bosco was a pleasure to be around, and was considerate of all of our needs and ensured we all took a great memory home. Even though we were entering the dry season, we were able to see so much due to his keen eye. I could list all of the animals, but I don’t think I have enough space!
I’ll just say that booking with this company, and driving with Bosco was the best way to do it, and if I ever choose to go back, I’ll be using this company and requesting Bosco!
