It couldn’t have been better than what Isaiah arranged for us
We did 3 day trip to mikumi national park with Kihindo. Isaiah made sure that we were comfortable and enjoying every hour of our trip. The accommodation, food and safari everything was excellent. We loved the hike to uluguru mountains to chooma waterfalls. Though it was raining but Isaiah kept motivating us and took extra effort for us to complete the hike.
We will definitely choose to plan our trips with Kihindo.

Professional, affordable and very kind!
My extended family and I went on 2 separate trips with Kihindo Tours & Safaris. The first was with some family members who were visiting Tanzania and the other was with Tanzanian residents. We planned both safaris fairly last minute... but Kihindo was absolutely the best choice to go for, here's why:
1. Isaya's communication was phenomenal. He was very quick to answer all my questions and responded to my ever-changing requests for packages. Even the night before we went on Safari, I had a last-minute request and he quickly helped us to get it sorted. During both tours, Isaya also regularly checked to ensure everything was going well.
2. The safaris were very affordable. I did a bit of shopping around and I can say without a doubt that Kihindo Tours & Safaris provided the best value for money.
3. The tours themselves were absolutely fantastic. We all had a great time seeing all the animals and the stunning landscape. The tours were also child and baby friendly (with a car seat provided upon request). We were provided with all we needed - food, drinks, music, etc... and our guide frequently asked us if we needed anything. The hotels we stayed at were also comfortable and spacious.
4. Our guide Mdee was fantastic!!! He was very knowledgeable, safety-conscious, friendly and entertaining. He ensured we were comfortable and that we had all we needed. He was also quick to solve any problems that came up which showed resilience and professionalism.
Overall we all had a FANTASTIC experience and look forward to more safaris and tours with them. We would highly recommend Kihindo Tours & Safaris to anyone looking to tour Tanzania!

Fabulous time spent on the Serengeti with Nixon et al.
The four(4)day safari was fabulous. Communications were excellent and all expectations were met including being picked up at the airport, staying at a hotel in Arusha before and after the trip, to spending lots of time touring and seeing the animals. The food and accommodations were outstanding and Nixon, our safari tour guide, was attentive and knowledgeable. Although it was the beginning of the rainy season we had amazing weather, no rain.
All in all, a very enjoyable time was had by all!

Hands down, the best travel experience!
My partner and I chose the 8 day Amazing Northern Tanzania. Could not be happier with our experience!
We have traveled a lot of the world and Europe, and this Tanzanian experience was by far the BEST travel experience we have both ever had. We camped most nights, yet Foot Slopes threw a few nights in a cabin and hotel as a bit of a surprise to us.
Camping in the Serengeti was an unforgettable experience. Thanks to Anwa (our guide) and Freddie (our chef) for taking such good care of us at all times. Anwa went above and beyond to ensure we saw the big 5, the best views, and as many animals as possible big or small. Anwa was extremely knowledgeable. You just need to do this tour! There are no words.
Freddie served us amazing food breakfast, lunch and dinner. So so delicious. I especially looked forward to the soup each night for entree. Best soup I’ve ever tasted!!
Both Anwa and Freddie are fantastic communicators and this experience was beyond anything we could ever expected in the best way. The Tanzanian scenery is simply breathtaking, and our tour were in complete awe of the animals and how close we were to them.
Thank you Foot Slopes, Anwa and Freddie for taking such good care of us! You guys are legends!!

full of amazing experiences
Generally everything went to plan. Foot Slopes Tours & Safaris were prompt to reply to emails before the safari and very helpful while in Arusha. Our driver and guide, Kindu, was polite, helpful and knowledgeable. Our accommodation was comfortable and the food was tasty. Even when we were help up in Ngorongoro with a torrential downpour the experience was amazing. If I had made list before I came, all the boxes would have been ticked. It does pay to remember that it is Africa, relax and enjoy and keep a sense of humour.
They were extremely helpful with some of my other failed travel arrangements, sorted out my new bus ticket.
Great job.

A great choice for a Safari
One of the best parts of Foot Slopes was their fast response to my emails leading up to the trip. The tour itself was great and everything was taken care of; I literally just had to show up. The itinerary was changed without prior notice, but we still did everything that was stated. The days (the order in which we did things) were switched a bit to accommodate others joining parts of the tour. We were well taken care of by our guide.

Good for most parts
Driver picked us up from our accommodation in Nairobi but was 30 minutes late. Journey went well although very bumpy ride in the vehicle after Narok. We did call at Tuskys supermarket at Narok and stocked up with snacks and water. There was a pizza place in the mall but were told our lunch would be later. Lunch was a big disappointment and health risk. 700 KES each for a poor quality buffet with birds constantly pecking the serving spoons. We set off again and reached Masai Mara and our first game drive. We had 4 altogether over 3 days and we enjoyed them. We stayed at Mara Serena Lodge which was within Masai Mara park and it was a lovely hotel and food. The second day the driver told us 6am start but then turned up 30 minutes later and said it was 6:30am. He said we’d got the time wrong but all of use heard him say 6am. Everything else went smoothly. Our driver was Benard but I did wish we had a 4 wheel drive vehicle rather than an 8 seater minibus. Overall we did enjoy our Safari.
