An unforgettable, budget friendly experience in Kenya's most beautiful reserves
5/5

We went on a one week safari with Josana Tours in Kenya and visited Masai Mara, lake Nakuru, Hell's Gate, Naivasha and Amboseli. It was a truly unforgettable experience. Our driver Anthony was the best; he knew the best spots and was very patient, which made it possible for the animals to come very close to the vehicle. He showed us the Big Five on the very first day and gave us a lot of information about the different animals. Furthermore, he was very caring and listened to the needs of the group. We had the time of our lives thanks to him.
Josana Tours also offered a very budget friendly safari and the communication was quick and clear. We definitely recommend booking with them!

Well organised and experienced.
5/5

We had a day tour through Arusha national park which was really beautiful. We have seen plenty of wildlife and pretty spots. Overall well organised tour and value for money.

About: Botswana
Botswana was beautiful, wild, warm and true
Overall rating
5/5

Camping our way through several Botswanan and Zimbabwean parks was one of the most transformative journeys I have ever made. (And I have traveled). The land has a sense of immensity that is humbling and awe-inspiring. The camping was very basic, with no modern amenities or fences, so the feeling of being in the wild, versus watching a performance of the wild, was complete. The guide was truly learned and local: A dedicated naturalist not a tour guide. And the camp hands were amazing. Warm, knowledgeable, friendly, and excellent cooks given one pot and a fire. The wildlife. What can you say? I was perpetually transfixed, even when rooted to the spot with terror (a face-off with a Bull elephant and hyenas raiding the cool box in our truck come to mind). The cats (the big drawcard for me) were astounding. Many lions, a close-up with a leopard in a tree above us, and a dusk sighting of two cooperating cheetahs hunting. At night we saw a serval, so incredibly hard to spot and very high on my list. Crossing into Victoria Falls was wonderful: despite the woes of its country, a town and a people so warm, funny, smart and welcoming. And I was surprised by the quality of the wildlife there, too (as well as the white water rafting and nightlife). Botswana and Zimbabwe are countries that will sear images onto your retina and memories into your mind, and and these things conspire over the years to produce a kind of soul-magic not easily found in other places. They call you back to Africa.

4-Day-Safari
5/5

+ Tangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti Park: all worth seeing!!!
+ good accomodation
+ on time (which is not status quo) in Tanzania
+ Guide did a good job (Big 5, ...)
+ Cook did a good job: partly african food, partly european (e.g. spagetti) with an african touch

- mattress and sleeping bags were VERY used and partly disgusting !!!

Advice customers: You'll need more than an inlay sleeping bag for ngorongoro Crater (over 2000m above sea level on the rim, where you will spend the night)
Adive for Foot Slope: a camping mat is cheap and definitely more hygienic since you can wipe it quickly with something to clean it.

I would book Foot Slopes again and I will recommend it! BUT with an own sleeping bag :)

About: Safarihub
Hakuna Matata!
5/5

It took me a while to write this as I was busy travelling elsewhere after my safari trip. My contact with Safarihub was first made in February 2018. Usually we arrange our own itinerary and etc but since this would be our very first safari as well as trip to Africa , we decided to contact few operators to arrange the trip after we made up our mind that we gonna do our first safari (perhaps the only one) in Serengeti (bucket list item) last June 2018.

Not only Safarihub was among the fastest who reached us via email but I was pleased with them (especially Vummy) who helped to clarify everything be it from vaccinations, visa and etc (her patience and attention to even the smallest of details were outstanding compared to others who just want to close the deal asap). FYI, I had like an over 80 plus email correspondence with Vummy! Talk about me being a perfectionist and constant worrier! But I glad to have all details mapped out because the moment we settled for the deposit payment, I hardly in contact with Vummy up until the moment we managed to convince another couple (my wife’s boss actually with the wife) to join us. Having dealt with Vummy before, “hakuna matata” (no problem).

I would like to say the service is excellent be it from airport transfer, accommodation, halal food arrangement, vehicle, game drive throughout the safari. Anthony, our safari guide also very informative and very patience person. We managed to see the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo) in the wild during the entire trip (exception for rhinoceros as we saw them in the Ngorongoro conservation area) and we truly appreciate seeing them out in their own habitat. Our last day in Tarangire, Anthony with the help of fellow guides managed to spot three cheetahs (wow they are hard to spot even at the location itself) and that truly made our day.

We did our safari mid June but only saw a portion of the migration (well you win some, you lose some) and also opted for the Serengeti balloon trip, another highlight of the trip where we saw the endless Serengeti. Honestly speaking, safari in Serengeti for me is at another level compared to our previous trips (sunset in Santorini, watching northern light under the cold night in Tromso, husky safari in Alta City, whale watching in Husavik, Iceland road trip and etc).

No doubt there are some hiccups (very minor as there is no such thing as perfection) but it is more like suggestions to improve their services/offerings which I will glad to convey to the management directly. But like i said, nothing major.

To Vummy, her supervisor Victoria (who took the effort to call me in London to clear the air on some negative comment on them) our driver/guide Anthony, we cannot thank you enough to give us a memorable safari trip. I wish you the best in all your undertakings.

To others, if you are going for safari in Africa especially for the very first time, please have a chat with Safarihub and rest assured, you are well taken care of. On Africa, to say we like it is an understatement. We love it and intend to do another safari trip in other African countries in the future, in shaa Allah.

Awesome service from Bonfire Adventures
5/5

Our Travel agent was not only informative but very patient. I was booking this package together with my wife and Maureen was very patient. We kept on changing the camp and she explained to us and helped to choose Keekorok lodge. This hotel is at the heart of Maasai mara and we had a good time.
Our guide James was a good driver guide who explained to us about animals, about maasai culture and we went to maasai village where we enjoyed a fire lighting training and maasai culture.

I will definitely want to travel to other destinations later and make sure my family and i get James as our tour Guide.
