Satisfying
Nice park, but can be very crowded in the south part. If you want more tranquility go half way or up north. Because of the asfalt roads you might have some trouble getting the real bush feeling, even if you do the gravel roads. Even these are easy traveling with any car. But overall still a must visit when you are in Africa. Don't bother doing the safari tours, you can do it all by your self in your own car. Spend your money on safaris in private game reserves.

Review about Kruger National Park by Fad
Huge park with much variation. Lots to see if you are in the right part at the right time and a lot of camps to choose from or tour between.

Review about Spioenkop Game Reserve by architectkzn
This is a landscape photographers dream. One can head off to the nearby Drakensberg Mountains and take spectacular photographs and enjoy the vast scenic mountain range scenery of the are. The local culutral village near Phutijaba isvery informative in terms of the cultural lives of the early San People who had inhabitated the region.

Surrounded by the city. Some decent animal and bird viewing.

Review about Etosha National Park by adoninger13
There was always an animal to see, but finding the big 5 is a challenge. Salt pans and bush are cool to see, but I wouldn't necessarily describe them as breathtakingly beautiful.

Review about Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park by Alan J Castle
There is basically only one main 'road' through this park, with a lot of very deep sand roads, and you have to be lucky with the wildlife. We had some excellent cheetah and lion sightings. There is one big camp on the South African side with all the mod cons, including a fuel station, but if you want the more rugged experience camp on the Botswana side.
