Vast plains, huge concentrations of wildlife. The great migration of course. If you want to see as much as possible, go here. All the big cats, all the undulates. Great landscapes, koppies and oasis like rivers. Downsides are the amount of tourists. You see many vehicles standing around a group of lions or that cheetah.
its a must in Tanzania but make sure where you go at what time of the year. in June the north (around Lobo) was quite boring
Many, many animals and many people too! Get a guide that will help you experience it the way you want
Ndutu is amazing, our best safari experience. Being able to get so close to the animals is a once in a lifetime experience.

What can you? It's THE place to see African wildlife... if you were lucky as we were, you'll even see a cheetah walk within 5 meters of our truck. Stunning.

It's huge! Seeing the migration with wildebeast coming from every direction was awesome.

Wondrous creatures in a gorgeous wild setting as Mother Earth intended; a chance of a lifetime.
This is a gorgeous wild park; if you only get to go to one park in Tanzania...this is it. All the animals are here and the other parks simply repeat parts of your experience here. Enjoy watching the natural world as it was meant to be. Amazing!!
Tenting in the Serengeti, with 3 days for excursions is great; good food, a glimpse of African wildlife (we saw all what you see in the books)

Serengeti - what a name, what a beautiful area and oh, so many animals. We went to Kenya a week later and saw the continuation of the Serengeti into their country. It was also beautiful, but very commercial. Hopefully Tanzania will not change their management philosophy.
