From the 3 national parks we visited, they all had their different flavour, so variety. Infrastructure to get to the parks is good.

We did a 6-day safari in northern Tanzania for family tour. We had 3 vehicles for 15 of us and planning and execution was too perfect from the moment we were picked up at the airport to the moment we were dropped back in the airport Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). We get 2nights accommodation at the Hotel (Arusha Tourist Inn Hotel- day before and day after our holidays). Our drivers were Oswad Shayo, Freddy &, James who had become a part of our group and their active attitude was transferable.

Regarding wildlife sightings, we saw a lots of animals. All the parks were fantastic and offered a varieties of life forms. We saw the big five lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo, in addition to cheetah, hippo, zebra, different species of antelope, giraffe, monkey, dik-dik, hyena, jackal, ostrich, vulture and a range of other birds species.
Sayari Tano Tours & Safaris is an excellent company in Tanzania. They have great staffs experienced in hospitality

Super and Outstanding

I do not think I have to praise the northern national parks. Everyone is well aware of its beauty. I probably googled Tanzania for a month straight before I landed there and I must say a computer screen can not encompass the beauty.

Most people may praise the wildlife, but my review will praise the courteous people. We began our trip by flying into Nairobi and then into Kilimanjaro International Airport and we had lots of issues at the start of our trip in Kenya. But once we arrived at Kilimanjaro Airport our fate turned. Our guide was extremely friendly and knew exactly what he was doing. The people were all very friendly and offered to help us whenever we looked lost. During our safari, the guides, security guards, hotel receptionist, room service were all extremely helpful.

My wife researched many of the safari operators before selecting Gosheni. Boy, did she get it right! This company is exceptional. Peter, the Managing Director, responded immediately to her email enquiries and tailored a tour to our expectations and needs.
We were met on arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport by Jonas, our driver/guide, and taken to Arusha for lunch with Peter and then off we went. We immediately struck up an excellent relationship with Jonas who was full of fun. When we were out animal observing he really demonstrated his skill in finding and understanding the animals' behaviours. One example: as we drove around the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater we encountered another vehicle watching the long grass and bush alongside the road. We stopped and discovered that they were watching a leopard moving about in the scrub. After a time the leopard disappeared and the other vehicle moved off. Not Jonas though, who said that the animal will show itself again in a few minutes.
Read more And so we sat there for several minutes when the leopard suddenly moved out onto the road and walked along passing the vehicle within a meter while observing us. And so it went. He was able to find some exceptional sights and experiences for us - surrounded by elephants, a herd of 26 female lions and two young male brothers, a giraffe that had survived a lion attack, a pride of lions patiently waiting for a wounded cape buffalo to weaken, and so on. We were there in the middle of the annual great migration of the wildebeest which also was another amazing experience.
The company's vehicles were late models, beautifully maintained (we saw three other vehicles break down), and comfortable, the accommodation was excellent, the food first rate, We flew back to Arusha from the Serengeti airstrip and were again met on arrival and taken to lunch where we de-briefed with Peter before being taken to Kilimanjaro Airport for the return flight.
Our safari was flawless and the experience of a lifetime. We have no hesitation in recommending Gosheni.

Trip of a Lifetime

We booked our itinerary with Planet Africa. Their attention to detail was commendable and the service was excellent from beginning to end. We first stayed at Ubuntu Migration Camp in the south Serengeti for two nights. The camp was amazing and we really were out in the middle of the bush. Guiding, staff, food and service were excellent. My only criticism was the 2 hour drive to the airstrip, but we did see lots of wonderful animals on the way. We then went to Sayari Camp in the north for 3 nights and it was perfect. The location and service was outstanding. Kathryn, Julie and the whole team did everything to ensure our trip was perfect for us. Sundowners on Christmas day beside the river viewing in excess of 30 hippo was wonderful . Our guide Elia was outstanding - he worked very hard to ensure we saw all of the big 5 on our 3 days. We wished we could have stayed there longer. We transferred to the Baraza Resort and Spa in Zanzibar. The villas are luxurious and Arabic in

From all the national parks I visited in Africa (been to Kenya, Tanzania, South-Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Malawi, Zambia, Uganda), Selous Game Reserve is together with South Luangwa (Zambia) the best seen so far.

Same as my previous comment, the country and people are fantastic, the wildlife plentiful, it would be a shame not to go there if you have the opportunity

For seeing and getting close to wildlife, Tanzania is an excellent choice, especially for photos.

A friend and I traveled to Tanzania with Overseas Adventure Travel (Boston, MA, in the U.S.) as part of a small-group tour of 15. Our main interest was photographing wildlife, but we also enjoyed the opportunities we had to visit tribal villages and a school and to get a feel for the culture, especially in the Arusha area. The tent encampment we experienced in the Serengeti was wonderful. It was amazing to be in such wild country and yet have such beautifully prepared meals. The lodge we stayed at in the Ngorongoro crater area was wonderful -- beautiful grounds with wonderful flowers. The guides were experienced in helping us spot wildlife and drove expertly on roads that were sometimes quite bumpy. All in all a trip of a lifetime!!

Tanzania is a country which has got very beautiful parks with natural animals compared to other African countries though to some places infrastructure is still not good.
