Warm welcome… the reception was top notch

“Wow, what an adventure! 😊 I and my friends went for a 3-day trip to Queen Elizabeth National Park a wonderful experience thanks to Dyloz tours.

The boat ride on the Kazinga Channel with scenic views was mind-blowing.

The game drive was a wildlife lover's dream - spotting buffalos, warthogs, elephants, and more in their natural habitat was incredible. The nature walk was peaceful and refreshing.

If you're planning a trip, you definitely want to do Queen Elizabeth National Park with Dyloz Tours.

Uganda exceeded all my expectations. The wildlife viewing was absolutely breathtaking – seeing animals in their natural habitat was an unforgettable experience. The scenery is incredibly diverse, from lush green landscapes to dramatic mountains, and the weather was very pleasant throughout our stay. The accommodations were comfortable and of a high standard, and the food was consistently excellent.
What truly made this trip exceptional, however, was our guide Emanuel from Deluxe Vacation. His service was absolutely perfect – professional, knowledgeable, attentive, and always making sure we felt safe and comfortable. He went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible experience, and thanks to him, this journey became something truly special.
I would highly recommend Uganda to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable travel experience.

Had an incredible experience in Uganda. We were very fortunate to see the majority of the wildlife the country had to offer including many of the rarer species. Wish we had spent more time in the mountainous backcountry, but it leaves something for us to come back to.

Had a great time with Buyaga Safaris in Uganda. Booked a private trip. Osmond was my guide and he was excellent. He was very good at finding wildlife and making sure I was enjoying my safari. The primate treks were all awesome. I was fortunate my gorilla trek was not too far and we saw a bunch of them including youngsters for an hour. The chimpanzee trek was also great. It started with them in the trees but once they came down they were all over the place. This was my 2nd trip to Uganda but first golden monkey trek. I recommend it if you like primates. So many of them and very very active. I did the major parks- Murchison, Queen Elizabeth as well and saw elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, etc.. The country is so beautiful and the people so friendly.

If youre prepared to invest the time Uganda really does have lots to offer, including the unique opportunity to meet both gorillas and chimpanzees in their natural habitats. The wildlife is abundant throughout this fabulous country, the people are welcoming and it is also very safe to visit.

We had an unforgettable 21-day tour of Uganda. We visited nine national parks, including gorilla and chimpanzee trekking. It was our first safari, and Rotim Gorilla Tour and Travel put together the perfect trip for us.

The wildlife in Uganda is incredible, with beautiful scenery.

We especially loved Kidepo National Park with its large herds of elephants, buffalo, and antelope.

Our guide, Robert, even made it possible to see a leopard.

Throughout the tour, Robert took wonderful care of us and fulfilled all our wishes.

We saw the Big Five, and even the Big Seven, including the primates.

Uganda, the Pearl of Africa!

Many thanks to Rotim Gorilla Tour and Travel and especially to Robert for this incredibly beautiful trip.

The 'Pearl of Africa' for a Reason and So Much More!

Of the 10 African countries I’ve visited so far, Uganda just became my new, overall favorite! No, Kampala is not Cape Town nor will anywhere ever top the abundance of animals in Tanzania’s Serengeti, but Uganda proved to be so much more from White Water Rafting at beginning of the Nile to spectacular adventures trekking chimpanzees and gorillas.

The 8 Day tour I booked proved to be as much a road trip as it was a safari! Traveling well over 1,500 kms / 1,000 miles, there’s quite the distance between itinerary destinations that don’t always match-up logistically despite permits and schedules. My best advice is plan to stay as many days as possible so you’re not always finishing one highlight before rushing off to the next destination.

Uganda’s main highways were better than expected but most anywhere beyond are rutted, washboard roads providing what locals call the ‘African Massage.’ However, it was traveling through these remote areas where
Read more a random elephant or herd of water buck may decide to cross and when not, there were always the people passing by whether walking or riding and seeing what I called “the real, raw Africa” of everyday life that I’d never experienced with any other tour.

I was fortunate to have Simpson Niwagaba Vannet as a guide that I clicked with like a lifelong friend and that also had an endless play list for all that time in the Jeep Land Cruiser. He went above and beyond fixing problems with the permits and itinerary, the vehicle, and even took me back to his hometown to stay which confirmed the absolute best part of Uganda. It’s the people and their welcoming warmth and hospitality found everywhere I went.

I will come back to Uganda at some point sooner than later and encourage adventure travelers to come for the gorillas but plan to stay longer for everything else!
